I was forced to go to this Starbucks. I avoided this location because of the service and the foul attitude of the staff. This is surprising as 99.99% of the Starbucks surpass my expectations. You can add poor execution of the order to the bad attitude to this place. I think I will skip coffee if this is my choice.

It’s been a while since I went to this Starbucks location. I went in to get my free drink. Note, I am a gold member so it obvious that I drink a lot of Starbucks drinks. Anyhow, I ordered my drink a Venti Caramel Frappuccino. When I got my drink the barista did not hand me a straw. That was not a big deal but before I took a sip of my drink I can tell it was not made right. The color of the drink was really light but before I hand it back to them I took a sip and immediately can taste that it was dilute. And to make sure that it wasn’t me I had my husband confirm it, I asked my husband try it. Before he took a sip, immediately he noticed the light color of the drink, then he took a sip and said yes it taste water down and there wasn’t any coffee flavor in the drink at all. I took it back and have them make me another one. Note they did not apologize at all. The same barista made my drink. Again, he did not hand me a straw and did not apologize for the inconvenience. I took a sip of the second drink and was upset that it the same but there was a hint of coffee flavor than the first drink. I did not want my husband and 2 kids(under 2 yrs old) to be waiting for me so I left. As I was walking out my husband asked me how was it? Better? I said no. Then I was looking at the cup I saw a hair inside! I was furious! I went in and told them. The cashier immediately asked if I wanted a refund or something else. I was like how can I get a refund if was a free drink. He said he can give me a $ 4 gift card. I said but that doesn’t cover the venti size. Then the barista was like what’s wrong with the drink now with a attitude! I told him there is a hair in it. Again, no apologies whatsoever. The cashier asked the barista can she get her star back on her app. He said yeah I’ll have to do it. Overall, I am very disappointed and cannot believe that Starbucks a well known corporate has such incompetent and disrespectful employees! I did not catch their names but there was 3 mens working during that shift(Between 6 to 7PM) on May 28, 2016, the barista that made my drink has a beard! Beware of this Starbucks! I had also emailed Starbucks corporate about this experience.

This place says it’s open for another 30 minutes but they have a different closing time then what’s stated on Unilocal’s business hours. They actually close at 11 pm and are not open until 11:30 on Thursday nights. Someone should update this.

I dread having to come to this Starbucks. The cashier is slow, the baristas are slow, the line is always long. The ONLY person I ever see see hustling is the one guy they having warming up everyone’s pastries. Ive come here at all hours which means they are all diff. shifts, yet its still the same slow service. Between 7:30am-9:00am they need to double-up on the help. Its RIDIC in there! The reason I gave them 2 starts instead of 1 is because the drinks taste great!

Usually come in once in a while, but when I do baristas are really slow. This morning I went in and the line was long right after I got my drink and took them about 10 mins to make my drink. My drink was in the blender waiting to be put in the cup for about 5 mins… Point is. A barista is suppose to have your drinks ready as soon as possible … Regardless of its slow or busy … You need to hustle. Plus there are two people on hot bar! Seriously Two people. Low Customers satisfactory… I’m a barista myself … And it’s sad to see others that are really slow with attitude and what not. Put a smile on …

I was impressed by the staff at this location. They were still having a morning rush around 9am, and these folks had their routine down. Wish the folks at the location closest to me were this organized and cheerful!

Just on the edge of LA and Alhambra. Easy place to get in and out on Fremont and Mission. Just a plain Jane Starbucks. Baristas are slow here when I come by many times. Shares parking lot with KOHLS, Sprint and Pick up stix. Great to meet up and hang out here.

This place, like many Starbucks, does get very hectic during prime hours(mainly mornings). The great thing is that they have a mini line for people who pre-order through the app, saving tons of time. Also, the baristas have never messed up my order, and they are always kind enough to change my order if I ever forgot something. If you want to use this café as a study spot though, I’m not too sure I’d recommend it due to the high volume of people(must make it hard to find quiet time), and a lack of tables. Overall, it’s a good«grab and go» type of coffee spot.

Lots of parking. Same service and customer experience as other locations. The layout of this location is easy… long and narrow entranceway/queue instead of the standard kind so there is no confusion on where to line up. Mornings seem pretty busy and constant… which gives the place a good energy. I used the mobile app this morning and it was seamless!

This place was the first to run out of the holiday drinks… menu already back to normal boring shit. They seem to be severely under staffed today. So service was a little slow even with a short line. There are several annoying students, I happen to be a student but I didn’t bring all my student friends. Just myself. Trying to be quiet in a noisy sbux. Otherwise it’s been ok. Not my favorite but convenient for my drive. Wish every sbux had a drive-thru…

Another good old-fashioned Starbucks. Out of all the chain stores I frequent this place is probably the most consistent. Whether I’m in Frisco or LA the service will be great(most of the time) and the product the exact same as it always is. Today I popped in with a gaggle of kids for a round of hot-chocolates and the cashier gave us great service, making sure each of them is groomed to buy their own over priced coffee with confidence as they instructed her how to spell each of their names, thanks again Aub/drey? :) Can be kind of busy during the semester as there are a lot of ELAC and CSULA students around.

I got here at 425 in the morning today, and the two women inside decided that although they saw me waiting they didn’t want to open the door to let me in. I came to this Starbucks because it was on the way to work and now I’m going get to be late because they weren’t ready to service their customers at 4:30 like they should have been. Worst part about it is I had to leave at 445 because I was gonna be late to work. Thanks for nothing!

I guess some people got bad customer service :(every time I go there to get coffee, everyone is nice and friendly. Maybe I am just lucky there? Most Starbucks drinks are constant with every location. If there was a problem with the drink, the barista is kind enough to fix it or make you a new one. There are about 9 tables in the inside and a couple tables outside. This location is usually packed because it is near Alhambra High School. There are two parking structures off First Street.

Pretty standard/solid wifi, I am giving them one more star than normal for their Google Wifi, which is different than some of the other nearby starbucks and definitely a huge step up! Will come by when I’m around the area again, but I definitely don’t see myself going out of my way to get something to drink here, because it’s literally just the same old starbucks!

Really bad customer service! Rude employees! Going to avoid this location. They weren’t friendly and charged extra for vanilla syrup? No Starbucks has ever charged extra for that and I have been to countless Starbucks since I commute a lot for my job and when I questioned it, they were rude! In addition, they said I couldn’t have a refill for an iced latte. Only ice coffee or tea… That is the case if you want a free refill with your gold card but Starbucks always offers refills no matter the drink?! This location was just really off… And unlike any location I have visited before.

Be careful as the morning line can stretch all the way to the door. It seems to come in waves, with no one in line one moment, a couple customers waiting for drinks, and then 60 seconds later…12 people in line waiting to order. I feel for the store manager, as how can you plan headcount to deal with something as variable as that? Even under stress, the staff is friendly and efficient: they generally have just one register going, but can open a second when the line gets long. I’ll continue to come here rather than fight the drive-thru location at peak hours, and just try to time things right so I avoid the rush. The Jamba Juice immediately next door with option for a warmed morning pretzel also doesn’t hurt.
