Chili’s Grill & Bar

Decided to try this place again the other night, only because we had a gift card. The food was okay but our server didn’t check on us once and his face was sweating! Also, the place is so loud you can’t even hold down a conversation.
Turn the music down!

Friday night was busy but the hosts were attentive and friendly. We didn’t have to wait long for a booth. Tonight we tried the two dinners and one appetizer for $ 20. We opted for the guacamole salsa and chips for an appetizer and it was good. Chips are extremely thin though. My husband got the ribs and fries. It was okay but the portions are small. Fries were not good even when we asked for it do be well done. I got the sirloin with rice and onion rings. I asked for my steak to be medium but it arrived rare. They cooked it again but when it came back a lot of it was still too rare. The rice and onion rings were okay. I guess you get what you pay for. For my kid we orders Mac and cheese and broccoli. Mac and cheese is Kraft Mac and cheese. Broccoli needed to be cooked a little more. It was too hard to eat for my kid. Also, be aware that they charge $.99 for the games they have at the table.

with medium grilled steak but when u order it they warn u it may not come out that way. Adding prime rib to the menu. Wonderful. Only well done prime rib. No good. Menu isn’t as exciting as it used to be. Food not as good as it use to be

Terrible service. Food takes forever and quality isn’t great. So disappointed in the staff. I’m a vegetarian and ordered a black bean burger, next thing I know I’m biting into a pure beef patty. The waitress didn’t even feel bad about it. I think her name was Janica? Very sloppy at her job. At the end, they comped our dessert. Why would you comp the dessert if my burger is what you messed up on? One word: CHEAP. pathetic service.

We have been back to this Chili’s twice since the management changed. Both times were great, food and service were spot-​on. Until tonight. I placed an on-​line order at 9:03pm. I was at the pick-​up counter at 9:35pm, only to be told the soup I ordered to go with my salad was not available because it takes 20 minutes to make. 20 minutes. I ordered 30 minutes before I got there. Due to a food allergy this particular soup is the only one I can eat. They did refund the cost of the soup/​salad combo, but once again I was left with no dinner. Definitely disappointed Chili’s can’t seem to get it right.

Went there for dinner and drinks with a buddy and my son. We ordered two featured drinks old fashion lemonades. When my buddy got his he showed me a bug in his drink. I brought this to the attention to the server and she simply said sorry with no other considerations. I then brought it to the attention of the manager and he simply dismissed the issue. Who ever is running chili’s should really care about their customers. I will definitely think twice about going there.

The bacon ranch quesadilla was really tasty very reasonably priced! Good selection of drinks and food that should satisfy the whole family.

This is a run of the mill Chili’s location. The food is normal as compared to other locations.
Service doesn’t stand out here either.
Bottom line is this is typical. Food is decent. Drinks aren’t much. Happy hour has some good deals.
You can pay at the table for items which is nice. If you want your kids to play the games for free (.99 normally) ask the server to credit it and they will.

I went to this Chili’s a few weeks ago and had a HORRIBLE experience. The waitress seems a disorganized and the food really wasn’t that great. My boyfriend, myself, and our two friends went for dinner because it was still open at the time we were hungry. I had the Margarita Flatbread which was beyond dry, crusty, tasteless, and terrible. Literally, it tasted like it had be pre-​frozen and re-​heated, then sprinkled with nasty cheese on top with some old gross sauce. In fact, when they re-​heated it, they burned the whole bottom of it. My female friend ordered the Mango Chile Tilapia which was cooked the worst way possible. The broccoli that came with it also tasted like it had been de-​frosted and warmed up. Would NEVER eat here again literally the worst experience ever. I wish I didn’t pay for the dish.

Maybe it was just a bad day, but the salad I ordered did me wrong. I ordered a chicken salad and it was dry. No dressing included in my order. No dressing.
The fry food however, it’s good, but I don’t recommend the salad

Deep fried cheddar bites were the bomb! I was excited to try them!
Sliders, meh could have been microwaved but ok.
The deep fried chicken was terrible, either it was frozen and tossed into the deep fryer or they basted with egg batter then coated, when everyone knows you need to coat then egg batter then coat again, the batter slipped off the chicken and was rubbery and not fit for consumption.
Service was good, friendly people and the ipad the put on the table makes it easy to pay without waiting for a server to come around.
I might try the place again but will steer far away from the chicken strips, just glad I did not get food poisoning from them.

After not having been to a Chili’s in many years, I stopped at this one to check it out. If you don’t like reading or any of the nitty-​gritty stuff, skip to the end!
Seeing as how the food pretty much hasn’t changed since the last time I visited, Chili’s probably holds the title as the most consistent restaurant of all time. They’ve updated their dishes, though, providing a fresher looking presentation for their food. Overall the food is surprisingly good, pricing is reasonable, and service is fairly quick (though it probably depends on how busy place is).
If you’re like me and your Chili’s visits are few and far between, you might be surprised to learn that every table now comes equipped with a nice little tablet, so you can order extra stuff (probably refills, too), play games or whatever (for $ 0.99), and pay your bill (it can split the check, helps calculate tip and prints your receipt!). Accompanying the tablets is their rewards program, where you get points per dollar spent — accumulating points enough to buy something might take a while, but you get 60 for joining, which is enough for a free dessert and therefore well worth it!
TL;DR — Food is good, pricing is good, tablets are cool, join the rewards thingy, get free dessert (you’re welcome).

Food is great. Service, however, needs a complete makeover.
We had the dinner for two for $ 20. The chicken with the mango salsa is GREAT. My son had the chicken quesedilla. The chips they have for the appetizer are thin and just salty enough.
The problems encountered were with the service:
1. One of the entrée’s we originally ordered, the ribs, was out of stock. Ordered the quesadillas instead. The quesadilla was added to the check, instead of replacing the ribs which we originally ordered. The nice little electronic device at the table, which you can use to pay the bill, has NO WAY to signal the wait staff there’s an error on the bill. Sooooo on a busy day like Father’s day, the staff is apparently just ASSuming we will use that little device to pay our bill. The waiter just disappeared.
And I had to ask THREE TIMES to get a waiter (or ANYONE — maybe even the GENERAL MANAGER) to get the check corrected so we could get OUT OF THERE. We were, at that point, basically IGNORED.

2. Likewise, we had to ask THREE TIMES to get a refill on a drink. At that same time we were attempting to find someone who could bring us a correct check. Each time they (a different person on the wait staff, as our original waiter disappeared, remember?) left WITHOUT the glass in their hand, and DISAPPEARED.
There was another restaurant nearby, «On The Boarder». It closed sometime ago — they had very inconsistent service there too. Let’s hope Chili’s doesn’t do the same thing.

I can’t stress how impressed I am with the manager that was working last night 6÷19÷15 as well as the hostesses, they deserve recognition from the company for how well they kept it together managing the restaurant for the graduation business from Aliso Niguel High School. They were busy beyond belief and they handled themselves beautifully even though they were being yelled at at one point by an extremely irrational man over and over again. As for our party, we had 8 people. We had waited quite a while (understandably) but they kept checking in, gave us multiple options to seat us as a large table was not yet available. They gave us complimentary chips and salsa when they finally did seat us (they did manage to seat us all together as it was important to my grad) and they paid attention to getting us in and out due to our long wait.
This was exceptional customer service that you don’t always see everyday. I wish I got their names so I could name them individually as they deserve recognition. Chili’s –please give this group of ladies the recognition they deserve, you have an amazing team at this location!

Came here a few times since it’s close by. The food is getting smaller and yet they are charging more. Plus the food is just bland. I had the fajitas which they wanted to charge me extra for rice and beans when that should come with the meal and my husband had the burger and fries Only nice thing is that new table thing they added so you no longer have to wait for the waiter to pay your bill. We won’t be coming back here better places to eat near by for the same price. Only thing good and worth it’s price is the drinks at the bar during happy hour and that’s it.

It’s been a while since I’ve come here because of bad service but I thought I would give it another try because a friend told me they got a new menu .BIG MISTAKE!!!
All we ordered was an appetizer sampler and a couple of sodas and it took an hour to get the sampler ! Then when it came it was over cooked:(if they can’t get that right then forget it:(I’m done. Also, bathrooms were filthy and there were at least 10 tables that weren’t bused and there was no busser in sight! Very disappointing:(

I was not a big fan of this place. I have recently been back three times.
Menu has changed and the service has really improved. I normally go on the weekemds for late lunch to avoid some crowds.
They do have healthy fare but I go here for my yummy food for the weekend.
The new burgers are great so far. Service really good with a lot of follow up. Don’t drink alcohol but do 8rder some other drinks and they are always good.
Would strongly recommend this place again as the food has changed and the service is much better.
Remember.,.its Chili’s and not Veggie Grill! !
Good food for the service and price!

I was surprised with the quality of the food here and the service. I came on a fundraiser night, and it was packed.
We still were seated fairly quickly and our server was very attentive and quick.
I ordered the shrimp tacos and the warm chocolate chip cookie. YUM!
