Porky’s Pizza

Porkys is hands down, THE best pizza Ive ever had. I always load mine up with double sausage, extra sauce, cheese blanket, mushrooms and jalapenos… get it well done if you load up the toppings like I do, or else it’ll be soggy.
I pay about $ 31 with $ 5 tip one a week.
Well worth the money!!!

Just FYI, this pizza place comes up on“Google” search and via « Unilocal» that it delivers to Laguna Beach… and it does not.

I’ve been changed. get parmesan crust and cheese blanket-​you won’t be disappointed! Best pizza ever! Garlic & cinna knots are also delicious !!!

Great food. Great service. Quick delivery. Zero complaints after 4 – 5 previous deliveries.

Not really impressed. We ordered three different pizzas, and Garlic Parmesan knots and they were all just average. I think Costco and Papa Johns has a better quality pizzas for the same price or much less. The staff member that greeted us seemed surprised to see customers there to pick up the order and a little off.

This place is good for delivery and take out. We use them primarily for the kids parties. This is thick crust pizza. Its not fancy. Kids like it and eat it up. The price is decent. More expensive than Pizza Hut or Domino’s but tastes a bit better.

This pizza by far is the best in the area. Have been ordering this pizza for years. There regular and thin crust both are good. Always hot, always fresh. There salads are cold and fresh and there garlic knots are incredible. I would love to see a garlic knot pizza, oh my goodness, would be killer. The customer service is stellar and the delivery people are so courteous and nice and always on time. Love Porkys Pizza.

Best pizza in South OC. Great quality, dough baked to perfection, tasty sauce and fresh ingredients. I moved away from the delivery area, but still order because its that much better then my local alternatives.

The garlic and cinnaknots are to DIE for! I honestly order just those probably once a month because they are unbeatable. I could easily sit and eat both orders with my husband in one sitting.
The pizza is pretty good but I’d love to see a garlic crust using the seasoning they use on their garlic knots. The sauce is a little much a lot and is piled up right before the start of their delicious crust. It’s definitely a thicker pizza with lots of dough. We usually order pepperoni with extra cheese, easy on the sauce and my husband wolfs most, if not all, of the pizza down.
Overall delicious but for the price, eh. It’s a good treat but I’ll stick to their amazing knots for good!

I will never order pizza from anywhere else AGAIN!
Ordered the Feast tonight for $ 31.99. Extra large pizza, thin crust. I could have eaten the entire pizza on my own and may have given the BF total stank eye every time he reached for another piece. Wings are total pizza place style so don’t expect deep fried crispy buffalo wings. They’re meaty, soft and spicy. Also came with heavenly garlic knots and a generous, super fresh antipasto salad.
Very friendly on the phone and in person at delivery time, which was earlier than quoted. Well done boys!
I want to try the Parmesan crust next time, per Unilocaler suggestions as well as the cheese Blanket option. They add an extra layer of cheese, fresh garlic and basil to your pizza over your regular toppings. This basically sounds like porn to me. Who doesn’t want to get under a blanket of cheese?!? If you don’t, I don’t even want to know you.
Side note — any Canadian expats reading this? Be prepared for a taste bud journey back to the motherland. Close your eyes and you’ll swear your eating at Pizza Pizza.

I had pretty much given up on pizza as a whole. Between the huge chains of delivered pizza, gourmet attempts at «specialty pizzas» or the all new fad of flat bread pizzas, I was over it.
Until last night.
For some reason, I decided after about a year or so to order pizza. I looked here on Unilocal & saw good reviews for Porkys. So what the heck.
I have to say, I am a pizza lover once again. Pizza was delivered hot & fresh. A perfect old school normal pizza. Thank you Porkys!

Pretty tasty for the most part. A little too expensive, but hey, that’s pizza now-​a-​days. Unless you’re ordering from Costco.
I would definitely choose it over any mainstream pizza place like Papa John’s or Domino’s.

Oh… MY… GOSH! Everything about this place is amazing. My husband called in our order and Ricky (also our delivery driver) was not only friendly but also told us about a special they were promoting that would save us 12 $ (based on what we were originally ordering, not just pushing their typical promo).
As for the food, I should prepare you… this is a heavy meal! The pizza crust could have been cooked a little longer (for my taste) but that’s the only thing I would change. It was obvious they only use fresh ingredients and high quality meats. Even with the cheese blanket we added to it, it was not greasy at all! Nothing dripping down your fingers as you eat or needing to be blotted from the top of the pie. We also got the antipasto salad… lettuce was crisp (not wilted) with a hefty portion of tomatoes, block olives, meats and cheese.
Overall, when my husband and I (who are originally from Chicago) are in need of a pizza fix to sooth our homesickness… Porky’s is hands-​down the pizza joint we will be ordering from!

Friday Night Pizza Night! We decided to try a new pizza joint for our Friday Night Pizza Night, and Porky’s Pizza was the chosen one.
We ordered the Feast $ 31.99 which comes with «one extra large pizza with two toppings, your choice of salad, one order of 10-​pc wings, one order or garlic or cinna knots, and your choice of a 2-​liter soda,»
There’s was definitely something very off about the wings. They were soggy, cold, and more than likely cooked an hour (s) before and just left to sit out. Wings are typically the first thing to go in our house, but these wings were barely touched. No bueno.
The pizza itself was good, not great. There was a good distribution of toppings, adequate pizza sauce, but a little too much dough. Otherwise it was tasty!
We couldn’t stop eating the garlic knots though. Is there MSG in them? Not sure, but we couldn’t stop eating them! They were gone within minutes! Yummo :)

Really fantastic pizza! The crust is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Chewy and delicious!
I love the sweet & spicy pizza. It’s unique and a perfect combination. I sometimes add artichoke hearts for a little extra something to sink my teeth into.
The garlic knots are also wonderful. I wish they offered a half order though.

Love this place! Staff is friendly, delivery is surprisingly fast. However I do live less than 5 minutes away.
LOVE the CinnaKnots, sooo good.
The pizza is great, regardless of which topping.
I have NO IDEA how these people rate lower than 4 stars, especially when some of them love the pizza too.
Anyway, this place is great, accessible, well priced (since it’s the same price as Pizza Hut and MUCH BETTER), I will tell everyone in the area about it and will probably be returning within 24 hours of this post lol

We use to live nearby, so we could occasionally order pizza from Porky’s. It’s a good, normal pizza joint. They have a decent selection of types of pizzas and the prices are pretty cheap.
Customer service has always been good and friendly at this location for me. We’ve never done delivery, so I’m not sure how fast they are with that, but call in orders are pretty fast.

I am very sorry for other joints because this has em beat. There are better restaurant pies but for take out or delivery this rocks south OC. Dominos is like cardboard with salt by comparison. Pizza hut is like leather that has been pre chewed.
Great for parties (when folks get late night munchies) family diner, post little league soccer, the big gamewhat Evah!
Add parmesan crust… Or go over the top and get cheesy blanket…
As a purest I never get those funky pies with chicken, cilantro or ranch dressing. That’s not pizza folks. Ok maybe in Cali. You would end up being fitted for cement galoshes back in Chicago or New York if you asked for «salad fixings» as toppings for pizza.
Go traditional and Porky’s will make you a pie SOOO good, it will make you wanna slap your grandma.
