My favorite fast, make your own pizza joint. I feel like it has the highest quality/most expensive toppings(artichoke heart, roasted red bell peppers, fresh arugula, daiya vegan cheese). Unlimited toppings. The pizza dough is obviously not super high quality or traditional, but I don’t mind. Half a pizza makes me full but not stuffed, so it’s a steal! Staff are friendly and always offer to change their gloves when making my vegan pie.

I went to blaze pizza today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how great the pizza was and how friendly the people are who work there. Teresa Molina and Taylor Seymour

2016 Unilocal 100 Challenge 27⁄100 This is my youngest daughter’s favorite fast fired pizza chain. We have all of the other chains within a 10 mile radius(MOD Pizza, Pieology, PizzaRev, 800 degrees) and we’ve tried them all. Blaze is the best priced and best tasting of the group. They also have their processes down so ordering is fast and easy and the pizzas come out quickly. While they’re great for DIY pizzas, they also have some really good combinations of their own on the menu. Sometimes it’s easier to use one of their menu items and make a tweak or two to get the exact pizza you want. The location is a little hidden, but it’s a very large restaurant so there’s always seating even when it’s a packed dinner time. When in the neighborhood and Sophie is craving pizza this is where we go.

All the employees seem to be real great, all the ones I spoke with. The manager seems to be very down to earth and easy to speak to(one with the tattoos, btw awesome tats!) and everyone is so helpful! Pizza is phenomenal and filling. Bring the family!

Love this place. Build your own pizza with several sauces, cheeses and toppings to pick from. A whole pie for yourself is only like $ 7.

I love this place. It took a few visits to perfect my build your own pizza through trial and error(though they were all tasty), and now my husband and I have each found our absolute favorite combinations of toppings. So delicious.

This little pizza place is the best! You put on his many toppings as you want offer one set price, which is already inexpensive. They have fountain sodas and a couple other things if you want it, but the pizzas the reason keep coming back. And the kid size pizza is big enough for two of my kids ages four and two to share, and so I’m like five bucks. Fantastic deal!

Making my own pizza is a luxury. I don’t have to compromise with anyone else in my family — I can get all my favorite toppings(as many as I want!!) and I don’t have to be forced to eat any of the strange cheeses or pepperoni or bell peppers that the rest of my family wants. It is the one day I don’t need to compromise! I like spicy red sauce, mozzarella, bacon(!), artichokes, sauteed onions, mushrooms, roasted red bell peppers, and roasted garlic(!). Yummy!

I LOVE this place! I always make my own, and they give you tonssss on toppings I really like adding the pesto onto my pizza, and omg their roasted garlic is amazing! The spicy red sause is my fav base sause. the spiciness is not overpowering. you can to see them make turn the pizza dough into a pizza base, which is pretty cool to see the process The pizzas are very reasonably priced too, so it’s time for me to say goodbye to dominos

The Chipotle of pizza… I’m a big fan already! Out of all the times I’ve eaten here, it never fails to disappoint(maybe because I just love pizza). I recommend the BBQ chicken pizza, pesto chicken pizza, or just any build your own – it’s fun to create your own masterpiece combination, which is immensely satisfying when you choose all the right complementary ingredients. It’s $ 7.95 for the typical pizza or build your own. The taste and quality of the pizza justifies for the price. Awesome décor for the place. The dining hall is spacious and fun to eat in. There’s nothing to complain about. It tends to get busy around the weekends. If you want to avoid lines most of the time, go on the weekdays. Anyway, I’ll end it with this: Blazed pizza has blazed my heart with a flaming desire for more pizza! Come here whether you’re a pizza lover or not. I hope it blazes your heart for more pizza too.

I’m a huge fan of fast fired thin crust pizza, when I saw that Blaze is within walking distance of my place, I was beyond excited! I guess all pizzas joints can essentially build-your-own, but there’s something wonderful about seeing it put together right in front of you. My go-to creation: spicy red sauce, moz and goat cheese(it’s not for everyone, but I love me some goat cheese), chicken and applewood smoked bacon, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and a little garlic. 2 minutes later I am in pizza heaven! Pippin hot, excellent crunch, rich but not greasy, filling but not food-comatose. At just $ 8.59 a pie, as many ingredients as your hear desires, oh hot damn. Some of the workers would pile on the ingredients where some are more conservative though, luck of the draw.

Every time I come to this Blaze Pizza it is a great experience … Today I went and everyone was being very helpful and polite.(Keep in mind I went with my grandfather who is hard of hearing & my little cousins who were all over the place) Even though I was with a rowdy group all the employees were being very patient and respectful so I thought it was appropriate for me to write a Unilocal post. The three people that particularly stood out were Lauren, Aya & Josh !!! Very nice individuals Thank you guys for making one of the best Vegan Gluten-Free Pizzas I have ever had !!! Much love, Dylan

I know this pizza place from LA and I was a big fan, the pizza always was good and fast delivered. We tried today blaze in Aliso Veijo and i am disappointed. Our pizza was burned, we were so hungry that I ate one piece but the burned taste spoiled the rest of the pizza. So I returned it and we got a new one, and the crust was almost burned too. I think they cannot make«unburned» pizzas. There are mainly high school kids working at this place. Looks really like a kinder garden. And the pizza is unfortunately not the standard we are used from LA. They also played this aweful music, kids punk rock or so, and there was not a possibility to sit outside. We really liked that at the Blaze place in La Canada. Another uninteresting cooperate food place of OC. We will not get our pizza at this place again. So sad. It started good in LA.

So yummy! First time ever coming to a blaze pizza & I have no complaints! All employees were very helpful & wicked nice. I made my own pizza(7.99 for 11″ as many toppings as you want) & it was delicious. The white sauce was so good! We also got a Ceasar salad. My husband doesn’t like pizza too much but he can’t stop talking about how good it is. We will definitely be coming back again!

Visited this location a couple times since we’ve moved and I’m glad we found it. The price and the quality of the pizza are great(Art Lovers with bacon — yum). The restaurant itself is very open and airy, but a bit cold when it’s not filled with a lot of people. I love the order online option, as well. Downsides, the lines can get a bit hectic, so try going before the rushes otherwise you’ll be waiting for a bit. Also, during one of my visits, an employee was *very* rude, most of them are very nice, otherwise. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you want some cheap pizza that is pretty good.

I have been a fan of Pieology for a long time, but I have started cheating on them and going to Blaze recently. Why? Because it’s just as good, just a cheap, and you don’t have to wait in line for 20 minutes every time! :) So when Blaze opened a location a mile from my house, I was excited. And happily, this is probably the nicest and largest Blaze I’ve visited so far. I never have a problem find a seat, and I never have had to wait more than 2 minutes to order(yet). Although I’ve heard when they first opened the lines were longer, that hasn’t been an issue when I’ve been here at all. The pizzas usually just take about 4 – 5 minutes to cook because they are all thin crust. The pizza and toppings are top notch and just as good as Pieology. They don’t have the garlic butter sauce option that Pieology has, but I like their Alfredo White sauce and spicy red sauce a lot. I also love their sweet & tart Blood Orange Lemonade, but it’s a little too sweet for some. They also have a traditional lemonade that’s less sweet. Every pizza is an 11″ version, and they are $ 7.95 for a build your own with unlimited toppings. Or you can order a one topping for $ 6.95, or a cheese pizza for $ 5.95. Considering one pizza can fill up most people, that’s a pretty sweet deal.

There’s a Blaze in my neighborhood! I had seen it while driving by but had not eaten there until yesterday. Blaze mailed the entire neighborhood a free pizza coupon so I decided to use it during lunch. Blaze only serves an 11″ personal pizza so you can’t get anything bigger or smaller. This will feed one really hungry person or two people nicely. I was there around 1 pm and the place still had a line to the door. The pizzas are customized to your liking with unlimited toppings. I opted for the red vine and added spicy red sauce, pepperoni, and roasted garlic. It’s important to not overload your pizza since the crust is so thin. The assembly line moves quickly and then your pizza is in line to be fired in the oven. The wait for me was about 20 minutes but that’s because of the line. It would have been less time had there been less people in front of me. I also ordered a drink to go with my pizza. I tried the blood orange lemonade but found it to be tart and too sweet. I ended up with iced tea instead. The pizza out of the oven is great but I rushed home to eat it instead of eating it there so the crust became slightly soggy. I did reheat it later in the evening on the stove top and found the crust to be crispy to my liking. The other thing I liked about them was the variety of toppings available. They had 4 or 5 different cheeses, lots of meat toppings, vegetables, and event specialty toppings like roasted garlic. Color me impressed. I’m definitely a fan.
