So disappointed. From reviews, thought this a top donut place but primarily cake style. Limited selection-didn’t help that one of counter people didn’t speak English and couldn’t tell me what they were. If you love cake style donuts, ok, otherwise many other great places nearby.

Great little family donut shop, you see them come in early every morning to make the donuts(hmm, that sounds familiar…), and they add the filling to cream filled ones when you order to maintain freshness. My husband ordered the croissant fashioned after a kloche, way better than the original style! Always wiling to separate each of my daughters donut holes, so they can have their own baggies! Limited seating, and hours.6−12, daily.

Personally, I haven’t seen a Daylight Donuts since my childhood since I moved from my old hometown. My friends at school told me about this place and I could NOT believe that there was a new Daylight Donuts nearby! So, of course, I had to try and go there and try the donuts. This place tasted like HOMESWEETHOME(; And their kolaches looked really delicious, way more than the pictures, so I asked for a jumbo jalepeno(JUMBO it was!) it wasn’t too too spicy, but just right, with LOTS of extra cheese in it! I swear they put in extra mozarella. The regular smaller ones were also really good! For those that don’t like spicy, that is. They say there was no mozarella cheese in it, but there was extra cheddar cheese and all that gooey goodness did me some good. My personal favorite are the cake donuts and the buttermilks! The regular donuts taste yummy as well, but even better when fresh. I go daliy and sometimes am lucky enough to come in right as soon as Cindy takes the kolaches out of the oven and have them fresh and hot! Those days are my best days. There are alot of drinks, like monster and snapple and tea and milk and they have a cappucino machine that I use alot when it’s cold out! Definitely would tell people to eat at this Daylight Donuts, it makes a great breakfast and is far far better than any other donut place!

I lived in New Mexico for a few years while my mom was stationed at the military base in Alamogordo, and a true local gem of the town was the Daylight Donuts. If you didn’t love it, something was wrong with you. The breakfast burritos were to die for. So you can imagine my excitement when I find out they were opening a location about 10 minutes away from my house! I head down there as soon as possible, and walk in to see… No Breakfast Burritos on the menu. I was depressed for a few days. And sadly, the donuts did not make up for it.
