We love sonic! I go everyday for Dr. Pepper. Also quick and easy place to get good variety of food!

I came here for a sundae and a Rt 44 happy hour limeade. At the order screen, there is a promo where you sign up for the Sonic Club texts and you get a free drink. I had already placed my order when I signed up. I got the text message and it said it was only good for today, so when the carhop came to my car I told her about the text. The difference between a Rt 44 and a large is 0.10. I said I’d pay the dime. She had to go back in to get my receipt adjusted, then she came back and said I had to give her the drink back and they had to remake it as a large. So, you’d rather waste a drink and do all that back and forth instead of just letting me pay the dime plus the cost of my Sundae? How does that even make sense? And, there’s something weirdos the about her taking my drink back and remaking it. We’ve all heard the horror stories of what happens to food that goes back. Either way, I’d just rather not come to this location anymore. That’s just silly and wasteful.

This place is the slowest Sonic in the world! I am not sure what’s going on in there, but whether there are 5 cars or it’s full — you’ll still wait 15+ minutes. Even if its just drinks! I usually grab something from here for my mom when I’m on my way to her house and it’s always a nightmare!

The kids working here the only reason I get to start. They are typically very kind, courteous, and friendly. Everything else about the sonic is horrible. It is very difficult to get in and out of, the front looks very old and worn down, and the drinks are not mixed well. No matter what time of day I go, morning, noon, or night, their teeth is horrible. Their fountain drinks are mixed strangely so that they don’t taste correct, and shakes are typically not well stirred. Though this location is closer to our house, we now opt to drive a little further for our Sonic indulgences.

Passing by the Sonic from now on for more customer service friendly fast food… This review is not based on a one time bad experience, but a pattern of bad customer service. I have been frequenting this location for about six years with my family of seven. The food is always fine. It’s typical sonic food. The orders are generally accurate. So why only two stars? As of late I have been often stopping in for breakfast on the way to work. It seems that more than 75% of the time their credit card readers are broken and cannot read my card. So, I try to swipe it three or four times and finally end up giving my card to the carhop. At sonic, you cannot leave a tip when paying with a credit card unless you chip with cash. I do think this is unfair to the carhops. When I do have cash, I make sure and leave a cash tip, but I generally do not carry cash and cannot leave a tip. There is one car hop in particular that appears less than excited about my business when I present a credit card. Today, after she brought my credit card back with the receipt, I happily said, «Thank you» to which she just offered a forced smile and walked away. The first few times I chalked it up to «well, maybe someone had a bad day, «but this seems to be the regular way of doing business at this location. Does anyone ever monitor customer service? Customer satisfaction? I have seen better service from the cheapest place in town, CiCi’c pizza. From now on I will happily drive another block and a half to another business or take a different route to work if I just want Sonic for breakfast. I do not recommend this location.

Shakes and Blasts are often not stirred well here, and sometimes barely stirred at all. It’s very common for my husband’s chocolate shake and my Reese’s Blast to have 2 – 3 inches of vanilla at the bottom, but tonight took the cake: we each had HALF our cup of nothing but vanilla! HALF. Of a LARGE chocolate shake and HALF of a LARGE Reese’s Blast. These things are NOT cheap, and I did NOT pay that kind of money to get 16 oz of a Blast on top of 16 oz of vanilla ice cream, or 16 oz of chocolate shake on top of 16 oz of vanilla shake. We actually stopped using this location months ago because of the management’s reaction to our repeated complaints about this issue: for awhile, they replaced them for me when I brought back a cup with nothing but vanilla in the bottom, but a few months ago the manager came out to my car and told me, «This is the last time we’ll be replacing these for you.» I replied, «So they’re going to start making them properly?» He didn’t promise that they would be made correctly in future, but said no more replacements, and claimed that I’m the ONLY person with this issue. I told him I’m VERY sure I’m not the only one it happens to, even if I’m the only one who cares enough to complain.(Probably one of the few who buys enough of the same desserts there to realize it’s an ongoing problem…) My husband was out running errands last night and only stopped at this Sonic because it was right next to one of his other stops. In future, he’ll drive the extra 2.8 miles to the next-closest Sonic where the always somehow, magically, manage to get the chocolate syrup and/or Reese’s bits all the way to the bottom of the cup.

This Sonic location has been awesome compared to the one next to my old house. Service is speedy and orders are accurate.

With three kids and a very busy life Sonic is our family saviour, I am not kidding kiddos. Fast food, fast service good prices and food that does not taste like it was freeze dried and nuked in a china sweat shop… I am a Sonic regular, they know me by name and before I order they already have a route 44 diet coke waiting for me… Someday they will assign me a parking spot with my name on it… LoL Well its that time again… Route 44 time… gotta go…
