Daily drink specials, lots of TVs, lots of beer option on tap and in bottles. Most food is pub fare, but there are healthier options too. With their popularity, they need more parking!

My husband is a big beer geek, so we decided to give this place a try for lunch. Went back with my father-in-law who’s an even bigger beer lover, and they had several beers he’s never tried before and wants to return. As a non-beer drinker, I have to say I love the food here. I was surprised at how delicious everything was from the caprese pizza to the burger and fries with balsamic ketchup. Both the beer and food are priced well. The only downer was how empty it was each time. I wish they’d advertise more because this place is great! We live 5 minutes away and had no idea it existed until a random Unilocal search.

Great bar food and they have a nice selection of beers, even if you are not a beer expert the friendly bartenders will help you. Nice casual place to watch sports and catch a drink.

Great beers and surprisingly good food for a neighborhood pub. Lots of TVs so you can get you game on with your friends. Ample room but not too big. Just right for a neighborhood sports bar with real beer on tap. Olivia provided quick service from behind the bar along with suggestions of her favorite menu items. Mexican Flatbread $ 5.99 was really good. I was a little confused by the term«flatbread» as this is not a thin crust. It’s more like a pita pizza and it’s delicious. Cheese Burger Flatbread, also for $ 5.99, and it too was good. For originality and taste, I’ll go with the Mex again.

Our server refused to honor their own daily special and so after requesting a manager, it took 20 minutes to get someone to come to our table even though there were only about 15 people in the entire establishment on a slow Monday night. When the manager arrived she said«Is there a problem?» She already knew what happened because I saw the server tell her and her friends. I called her out for feigning ignorance and she immediately admitted to knowing what was going on and then said no they would not honor the special because I didn’t request it when I ordered. Just be real and please honor your specials. Terrible service, rude staff, mediocre food.

Ughh! I’m so conflicted! Three stars or four? Is beer really enough to give this place four? Okay. Really, just think of this as a 3.5 star review that I had to round up. So yeah… BEER! That’s why you’re coming here. You live in the burbs. You want a craft beer. You want Flying Saucer selection without having to drive out to Addison. Here’s your place. Their beers rotate daily as they are tapped and new kegs or bottles are brought in. Alcoholics go to meetings. Winners join clubs. Join the Brew Crew. 300 beers and $ 2000+ later you’ll be recognized for your obsession. I mean dedication. I’m not sure if they do a plate ceremony like the Saucer but if they don’t, they should. When you’ve already funneled two grand into their place, the least they could do is host a party for you. Is that a thing here? Someone look into that. The food is what prevents this place from being five stars. It’s bar food. The chips and salsa taste store bought. And not even the good stuff. We’re talking store brand corn tortilla chips and pace picante sauce. Blegh. If you like Pace Picante sauce… please do not write any reviews about food establishments on Unilocal. Also leave. Like the state. You’re in Texas, damnit. Respect salsa. Some of it is good. Chicken sliders are decent and a good value. $ 6 gets you three and a side of fries. Southwest egg rolls are good but Chili’s still does those better by comparison. Pizzas are too small and only barely worth it if they’re on happy hour. Burgers are good and a solid fall back. Garlic Parmesan fries are my favorite here, but are a bit oily… so not for everyone. If they improved their menu this would be even better. They have plenty of tvs to catch the game at any angle and they’re always willing to change one to something less popular if you request. I came in to watch a Broncos game while everyone was glued to the Dallas game so they changed one at the bar for me where I was sitting. So then I got to watch BOTH games. Staff is knowledgable and friendly. Very laid back. Service can be slow for some. I prefer to call it casual. It’s a bar in the burbs. Just the right vibe. Now if they could just work on parking…

Amazing selection of beers — I think they said they have over 80 on tap. Just had a short visit and tried the fleet of 4 beers. Definitely plan to come back again and sample more food and beers.

It says on Unilocal I’ve been here 10 times but I’ve forgotten to check in another 10 times I’m sure. This is my Bar. Nene is a great bartender and always takes care of me and the other bartenders do their best when I stop in at other times. I’m a member of the Club and have tried over 30 different beers so far. LOVE the Beer Selection(Over 80 Beers On Tap). Food is OK but the Menu and the quality of the Food could definitely be improved but I don’t go here for the Food. Syd the co-owner with his Brother always greets me and in many instances introduces me to the newest Beer that has just been tapped. He seems to know I like IPA which shows he pays attention to his customers which is commendable. I would recommend Craft Beer Lovers to give this place a try as you will not be disappointed.

St Patrick’s day specials were great! Had the waitress’s favorite red beer, it was great, wish I wrote it down. The hot pretzels with cheese were great, the Mexican Chicken Flatbread, yummy and spicy, another great! Three tastes, three greats, 4 stars, going back as soon as I can. Highly recommend.

Good place to go for drinks w friends, with a focus on beer. They have a great variety of craft draught beers And a wide variety of of bottle beers. Good food and good service. The place was a lil understaffed for a Friday night. Parking is a lil scarce! This is a better option than Jacks Pub or Delaney’s!

The atmosphere is casual and so is the food. The food is your typical Gastropub style. It’s good but only some of it is a big deal. I got the Tortilla Chips with Buffalo Dip, it was good but had too much of a kick for tortilla chips. I also ordered the Cheese Pizza on Pretzel Bread which was pretty amazing. My friend ordered the Pretzel Bites with your average Pretzel Dip she also ordered a side of Fries. The dips that came with them were great! They have a never ending beer list and we got the Revolver Blood and Honey, the flavor wasn’t what we had expected but it was still very good. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The only thing I didn’t like about this place is that I found it to be difficult to be social to meet new people. Everyone had their groups/clicks and they were all knit very tightly. But the business itself is great and I’d come back again.

If you’re looking for beer, this is place for you. Happy hour and appetizers, again, this place is a winner. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a nice quiet dinner, this is probably not the place for you. This place is surprisingly large with mostly high top tables. It’s entirely open seating so don’t stand awkwardly by the door waiting for someone like we did. There are no partitions to speak of so it was pretty loud when we were visiting. The beer selection is the reason to come here. It’s pretty intense! They do offer flights as well — you can do pretty much any beer on the menu as a flight which is a pretty nice option. The menu has a pretty good selection, but I would categorize it as pretty average bar food. Granted we both got burgers so maybe that’s just not their star item, but the food was just ok. The appetizers we saw going by looked pretty good, so I think if you stick to fried you’re pretty well set. Overall, this is a great addition to the area. I imagine we will return on a fairly regular basis.

I have to give this place 5 stars. Their beer selection is insane. They had 80 beers on draft when we went a few weeks ago and then another 80 or more in bottles. The food was also great — $ 5 flatbread during happy hour. I would recommend going during a slow time(before 4 on Friday) or on a weeknight. The place gets so packed that people are waiting on the fringes, waiting for you to get up. But if they expanded it, it would lose the cozy feel that I really liked about this place. Great service — we will be back.

Went in for lunch for the first time the other day. It was early, maybe 11:30 — and yeah, I wasn’t really in the mood for a beer at that time, but I’d heard the food was good, and I was nearby. The bartender was very friendly and was clearly unfazed when I just ordered food and some water. The food came, and was very good. All fine. Right about the time my food came out, I hear the guy in the back asking loudly(probably more so than he thought) the bartender if I was just drinking water, and then chatting with her about how little money they’d make off of me just ordering food and no alcohol. I get it — small business, new restaurant, and you want to make money. But, you know, if someone has a good experience at lunch, they might bring their friends back for happy hour. So, if it was intentional that I hear that, then ok, I get the message. If it was accidental, here’s a heads up that you might want to keep your voice down a bit.

Had lunch on a Saturday afternoon with my parents. Lots of beer options on tap and bottle. We all got hamburgers and we thought they were good greasy half pound bar burgers. Definitely get the waffle fries as the regular fries were just bland frozen bag fries. They also recently started serving a brunch menu on the weekends and the options looked good.

Over 80 varieties of beer! The Angus beef tacos and very good. You can get a 4 variety flight for only $ 10 any beer on the menu. Good beers & good service, they even had a musician playing after about 8:00pm. Definitely worth a visit.

Whoa buddy! Now this is a diamond in suburbia! Hungry, needing a place to grab a bite and for the hubster to catch some college football, we came randomly came across this place. Don’t be fooled by the exterior… On the end of a traditional strip mall, walking in, you’d totally forgot that you were out in Allen. Initially, we were the only ones there for lunch on a Saturday and thought maybe this is an evening place. Within 15 minutes, at least 5 other groups of people walked in. If you love beer, you will have difficulty making a choice. There’s so many great options. No worries, order a flight to try at least 4. Not a beer far? Not a problem. The knowledgable staff will either find something you could/would like(with a sample tasting) or they have liquor and wine options too. But really, go for the beer. Also, don’t forget your ID because they do scan it. Now the food… Here’s where I was FLOORED. Expecting the normal bar fare, I was pleasantly surprised to see quinoa on the menu. Say what?! And the food was AMAZING. I am still craving their peri peri sauce. The hubs got the buffalo chicken wrap with a side of waffle fries. I had the chicken street tacos. Wow wow wow. I can’t even say that enough. All the sauces, even the ketchup and ranch, are made in house. I told the waitress twice they need to bottle their sauces. While normally I don’t venture too much out of Dallas, and the hubs even less, we’ve said at least 3 times since our visit to brass tap«man, we need to go back» and«how do we get them to build one closer to us?» Absolutely worth the trip!

All I can say is WOW! We were actually on our way to Gloria’s for dinner and we spotted this place while driving. I said to my husband, «Wow, there’s a new place, turn around.» I need to check this place out. So now, I get to Unilocal about it! It was a busy Friday evening. When we arrived it was packed and we took the last table in the place. I am not a beer drinker. I get really flustered when I have to order a beer. I know I like a pale ale or a bock, but large beer menus intimidate me. Now, here is what sets this place apart from any other pub. The waitresses go to beer school and are extremely knowledgeable about all the beers on the menu. Maria, our waitress listened to what I like in a beer and brought me a Boulevard Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale. It was perfect. Maria hit the nail on the head. She told us abut the Brew Crew club. The hubby joined it and he was excited to try new beers and get to earn gift cards. The food was good for pub fare. The hubby ordered the 4 meat pretzel pizza. He said it was small but good. I ordered the chicken street tacos. It was good, the only thing I would change is that street tacos are traditionally served on corn tortillas not flour. Then I ordered another beer. This time Maria suggested I try the Bishop Crackberry. It is cranberry cider. Say what? It was amazing. I was so glad I tried this place and found some new cool beers and a cider.

Neat little beer place in Allen. They have about 80 different beers on tap with a whole additional large selection of bottled beers. When we first came and had a large menu on the table, I thought it was their entire menu, but that was only the beer!!! Service was a little slow on that Saturday late lunch hour, but they were surprisingly busy and we were not in a rush, so that was ok. We ordered a bunch of appetizers, which were all much better than we expected at a beer place. From the Combo Appetizer(Pork Pot Stickers, Southwest Chicken Eggrolls, Tempura Shrimp with sweet Chili, Poblano & orange ginger sauces) to the Buffalo chicken dip, the four cheese pretzel pizza or the lettuce wraps with sweet chili shrimp, they all tasted excellent. The Southwest Chicken Eggrolls tasted a little bit like the ones Chili’s serves, but with a better wrapping and much less fatty. Overall we were pretty impressed. This’ll be an excellent place to watch a football game since you have a good variety of tasty food and you’ll never run out of different beers to try. As a warning, they don’t allow anyone under 21 in the evening(I don’t remember, but I think it was after 6pm).
