We had the margarita pizza and the pear and gorgonzola cheese salad. Wow both were so delicious we ordered another pizza and that was excellent as well. I have always heard how the pizza in Italy is made and I bet this is the real deal. The flavors of the cheese, sauce, and a very thin crust just pop the taste buds. The ingredients are of the highest quality. The food presentation was really nice, everything was like a picture… good job! I loved the food here and will certainly return. The service was prompt and friendly. The owner made a point of stopping by twice during our meal. Nice guy, direct from Italy. The house wines were very good. I would recommend doing away with the plastic table covers and going with a polyurethane type table tops.

I was very impressed with Antica. I was drawn in by the phrase«mozzarella bar» but ended up getting the pizza instead. I was not dissaponted. The ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. The wait staff was very helpful and friendly, and the manager(maybe owner?) made multiple trips to our table to check on us and provide accommodations. As for the dessert, I’m usually a big chocolate guy, but I tried the grandmother cake and was blown away. The way the flavors complimented each other was a unique and wonderful experience. I was very pleased and will certainly be back!

Must say we had high expectations, based on past reviews, but upon arriving on a Saturday night at 7:00 and to find the place empty, draws some concerns, but we stayed. Service was good, but the food was awful, ordered the mozzarella and prosciutto and it was dry and bland, no dressing or seasoning, our pizza was dry and the toppings were raw, very disappointing. I would not give this place a second chance.

Wow, we really loved this place. First off, they’ve done an amazing job of making it feel like you’re not in Florida. Secondly, the food is excellent. We split a Bufalina pizza for our entrée, and that was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. This is wood-fire, brick oven pizza. The buffalo mozzarella was explained to us by the guy taking our order(due to the possessiveness of his pronouns, I think it might’ve been the owner). The cheese is next level good. The dough was very thin, but delicious. We also had the cannoli, which was very, very good. Need to get there in time to try the chocolate mousse one day before it sells out. Overall, great place to bring a date or just a nice place to have a quiet dinner with some friends. I can’t wait to go back.

So far this is the best Italian pizza I ever had in the United States! I m 30 y.o. Italian born and raised, moved to Florida 3 years ago and I m always struggling to find good authentic Italian food in this country. I saw same inviting and attractive pizza picts online at Antica and I thought to give it a try… O.M.G… I was surprisingly amazed how good the taste of this dough was!!! Combined with fresh mozzarella basil and prosciutto and the picture was complete!!! I seriously cannot wait to go back to get more!!! It s hard to find authentic good Italian restaurant in Florida, I m very happy I can add one more to my list now! Keep it up guys and very good job!

Went back with the family and this time we had a much larger order of food making use of the sit down service. I was disappointed in the booth size. The table can’t be moved. The plastic on the tables is ok. My wife didn’t like it much, but understood the reasons why they used them. Service was quick, but we were the only ones there at first. Then one by one the crowd started to show up. By the time we left there was six groups and service was still good. It’s a small place so expect a more intimate setting than a big noisy bar. We ordered the soup of the day, which was minestrone soup, which was very good. It was veggie with no ham and one of my guests said they would have liked to see some tiny chunks of ham. I explained that I believed it was a vegetarian version. Two of the soups were warm and the other was hot. I didn’t mind as I didn’t have to wait for it to cool off. The bread and oil dip came out and I avoided it, but every one else ate it up. We had the eggplant ravioli which was extremely tasty. Our pizzas were cheese and the Antica pizza(the house special) which comes out on fire(flambé). The one thing I would prefer is a pizza stand to keep the pizza off the table but I’m guessing they are going for a theme here. There wasn’t much room on the tables with all the dishes, glasses and other items. The pizzas were all very tasty and as previously stated, all real cheese with home made sauce. It was really good. However our pizzas were very soft in the middle and we all mentioned that even though the taste was excellent we would have liked to see them cooked a little longer to get the center crispier. It could be the style of the pizza which comes out thinner than normal pizzas you see locally. For desert we had a strawberry tiramisu which was very yummy. I sampled a small portion which was all I could get from my daughter who fenced every one off with her spoon as we tried to get seconds or thirds. Beers are expensive at $ 3.50 each, but having one with the pizza was good. Service was great and I believe the owner came out a few times to check on us and the orders. I really like the intimate space provided. I don’t like loud places and I prefer a more personable vibe. There wasn’t any loud music playing and we didn’t have to talk loud to hear each other. The high backs on the booths block a lot of the talk from the other patrons. For those who read my reviews, yes, I ate gluten pizza, but it was the first time in a very, very long time and I’m paying the price for it right now as I type this review. However it was good enough to put up with some pain for a few days. Next time I’ll just get the eggplant plate.

TL;DR…skip all the nearby chains and eat this authentic, fresh wood-fired pizza! Found this new gem thanks to Unilocal, and I must say, I’m bummed I don’t live anywhere near here! This would definitely be my new go-to pizza spot. I’m stuck in town thanks to winter storm Goliath, and am staying at the Hilton nearby. Upon seeing the pictures and menu for Antica, I knew it was the real deal. I really loved the Pear and Gorgonzola salad, it was rich yet balanced, and very fresh. The Gorgonzola was hands down the best I’ve ever had… the owner confirmed that they import the very best cheeses. My husband and I split a Bufalina pizza, which was delectable. I could’ve used more fresh basil, but that’s just because I love fresh basil on pizza! I really enjoyed the crust, which did get a little floppy from all the juice of the fresh cherry tomatoes. The edges were a nice amount of crisp and chewy. The flavor of the crust was great, a very slight sourdough taste… enough to make it interesting but not disruptive of the flavors of the toppings. We finished our meal with espresso and cannolis, which was to die for! Hours later, I am still very full and satisfied. Service was prompt, attentive, and polite. As mentioned previously, one of the owners checked in and chatted with us briefly, which is always nice. I thought it was very sweet that they also set up a sample pizza(under a dome) outside the storefront for passers by to try. I would happily come here again to try more pizzas if I didn’t live in Michigan!

It was very good, far better than anything that«was» in Orlando until Bavaro’s Pizza(in Winter Springs) came along. I would dare say this place is second best only to Bavaro’s Pizza and maybe Wine Barn. Glad to see that Orlando is becoming a Neapolitan pizza destination, thanks to Bavaro’s.

Very fresh take on pizza. Open only a little more than a week so service is a bit new. Fairly limited drink selection. Really good deserts. Just one pizza size which is small but big enough to share. Three of us ordered two pizzas and an appetizer and there was enough to bring some home. Tucked back into a shopping center and a little tough to find.

If you are looking for real Italian food try this place! They have brick oven pizza that cooks a pizza in 1.5 minutes. Everything is made with fresh ingredients from scratch and to die for :-) It is a family run business with lots of love in the air. The ambience draws you into a little taste of Italy. Definitely save room for best dessert! That was the best tiramisu I ever put in my mouth :-) The pasta is next on my list!!! Ciao!

Foodies. I’m talking to you. Sadly, most others will not appreciate this style of authentic Italian pizza. You know what great, wood fired pizza, using true italian ingredients tastes like. Usually you find it in some hip area of town, and pay far too much, for far too little. This place is the real deal, for far less money, in the suburbs. One of the best restaurant values in the Orlando area.
