Worst experience on Saturday night. I spent around $ 50 and had literally 12 pieces of vegetables, it was half of what everyone else had at the table. Besides getting hardly any vegetables, the chef was cooking and flung a piece of hot food right below my eye. I understand it wasn’t on purpose but that just added on damage. I don’t know if I’ll be going back to this location.

I love this place. I love that they cook the food in front of you and it’s served as its done. We are repeat customers and its pricey so be ready to spend $$. The crab appetizer are always crunchy and moist inside. The soup is a mixture of chicken onion flavor with small bits of mushrooms & fried onion noodles The ginger dressing salad is also a hit, I just think they should fill up the whole bowl instead of half way. Vegetable are always great and tender! You get noodles & fried rice with your meat order & always comes as you ordered. You can have ginger sauce and white sauce. Most people get double white sauce! Be ready to take some home!

This is my second time at this location and the customer service is always good here. The food is excellent here and tonight I’m getting sirloin and chicken for dinner. The cook was excellent that was preparing our food tonight too!

Onkyo. Best experience I have ever had out at a restaurant. Literally laughing the entire time. Best night anywhere in so long. You do not get to meet people this entertaining. Love love love this restaurant. Would recommend this to everyone and anyone. Made all of our nights

Our family went here one Friday Night to celebrate birthdays. The place was jumping. You can hear people celebrating, and all the cooks putting on their shows tableside. The cook that was doing the food at our table was Jason. Put on quite the show, and was very entertaining. Hats off to Jason and his assistant. We originally were a party of eight, but two had to leave suddenly. About 10 minutes into cooking and preparation, we find out that the two were returning. He immediately was able to accommodate, not miss a beat with his cooking I would really like to have given them five stars. But considering how late it was, and how empty the restaurant was at this point, it seemed to take forever for two beers to be brought to the table. The food is delicious, and plentiful. I had some California roll sushi that was quite good. Definitely worth the trip back.

Went here on a Tuesday night and wait was only 10 mins. The chef I had was funny and I enjoyed his jokes! They serve you soup, salad, rice, noodles, vegetables and main course meal which I picked chicken and shrimp! The prices are expensive over $ 20 a meal but the food was good!

Late dinner on Saturday. the server was oramoune v, at geisha terminal. Food was good. But the chef didnt verify the orders with us. And the server missed up all but two orders. From extra vegs, upgrades etc. They had to get more food and cook twice. Ive been to alot of kobes. The chefs presentation wasnt as good as others. But we had a good time and had alot of good food

Food was what I remembered. Fresh and lots of it. The«entertainment» was a lot less than I remembered. Onion volcano and that was it. No egg in the hat, no onion train… There were a couple of inappropriate jokes which surprised me. There was a 8 – 10 year old at our table. For the money, no longer a special occasion destination for my family.

Environment was great and the cook was friendly and put on a great show. Portions are huge! I enjoyed there sauces. Salad, veggies, and meat were great. Noddles and rice a tad bland. Overall really enjoyed our dinner. Will go back.

I’ve had a few group dinners here at Kobe, and while I’ve had a great time, I find the food to be average at best. You definitely get a great amount of food, but there is no way anyone can find their food to be greater than good. You begin the meal with their Japanese Onion soup; it’s a light, yet tasty soup with a great flavor. The soup is followed by a cup of salad which is topped off with a crisp ginger dressing. Next up, the entertaining chef grills various vegetables, noodles and begins to create the fried rice. The vegetables are pretty tasty, but the noodles are just a bland pile or carbs. The same can be said for the fried rice; it just doesn’t have much flavor to offer your tastebuds. The rest of your Teppanyaki meal depends on which protein(s) you have chosen. We have chosen their steak, chicken and shrimp. It’s not that proteins have been bad, but in my opinion they haven’t been good enough. If it wasn’t for their magical white sauce, you’d probably have a hard time putting down all of your food. I just don’t think the quality of the meal matches their price point. Service has been friendly on both occasions. Even with a large group on a busy night, everyone was tended to; our beverages were refilled several times and we were constantly checked on to ensure our meal was going smoothly. In terms of atmosphere, it is extremely loud; I had a very hard time engaging in conversation with individuals only a few seats away.

My favorite place to celebrate a special occasion. From the scorpion bowl drink to the iconic onion volcano(is iconic the right word?), the whole meal is an experience. Kobe differs from other hibachi joints in their extraordinary level of service and additional treats to try on the grill(crab cakes, anyone?) And there’s nothing like wearing that chef’s hat on your birthday.

Always a good experience. Sushi bar is on point, just wish you had they«to go» option back so that you can call in a order and pick it up. You could make the customers pay for the food over the phone, that way there is no product loss for the ones that used to call in a order and never pick it up

My original 4 star rating went down after a few changes were made, so I wrote an updated less then stellar review. I am more then impressed with Kobe’s customer service. I never imagined a big chain like this would notice or even care about a review change. But thats not the case. They got a hold of me personally to make things right. A couple changes that were made. You cant call in a to go order, and soup and salad is now extra. Calling in a to go order may not be a issue for most people. But we have been here so many times over the last couple decades we dont stay for the show anymore. We just call it in, run in grab it, and go. But on a recent trip my wife went there to place a order, sat and waited, then when she got to the car there was no soup and salad. She walked in and told them they forgot both items with both meals. The reply she got was«we dont do that anymore». She turned around and walked out. After getting a email from Kobe’s I decided to get more details on the soup and salad. Its still being made there. Its just simply $ 1 more now as a add on. Not a big deal at all. I guess there was just a lack of communication. I asked my wife what did they mean«we dont do that anymore» and she didnt know since she didnt ask. Unfortunately who ever said that to my wife didnt reply. «Oh, thats $ 1 extra now». Would of cleared a lot up. I honestly wasnt sure as to this day I still miss the red sauce lol. For anyone whos been a long time customer here you may remember it from 10 years ago. They used to have red and ginger sauce. Then they added the white and later phased out the red. I couldnt see them phasing out soup and salad as its so freakin delicious. Sooo… With that said. We are back to being Kobe fans! Just as I have been since i was 12 years old. The food is always great, the service(minus this last miss understanding) has always been exceptional, and the atmosphere beautiful. At least the locations we’ve been to. Kobe. What ever you do. Please dont get rid of the ginger sauce :)

They do this crazy thing where they turn an onion into… A VOLCANO. There is soup AND salad. There is rice AND noodles. If you tell em it’s your bday(it doesn’t even have to really be your birthday, you can lie, as long as your conscious can handle that) and they will give you a chef hat and a cupcake for free!

Kobe has great food, but let’s face it — you can get the exact same food and experience for less than half of the price at a hibachi place without a live Koi pond in the atrium. I recommend hitting up the bar for late night happy hour– great drink specials and food specials as well. They serve the chicken and yakisoba noodles featured in the full meal for $ 3 bowls over there, and it is a great deal.

I come here for three reasons: Birthdays, birthdays, and white sauce. I understand there’s another section where you can order sushi and other dishes, but I seem to only come for the hibachi grill. You know how the drill goes. You pick your meats and the heavily ccented chef will cook you up some fried rice, veggies, lo mein(looks like spaghetti) while doing knife tricks, corny puns(egg roll) and the inevitable onion flaming volcano. Just drown everything in the white sauce and you are good to go Don’t be weirded out if they combine parties and have you sit with strangers if your group isn’t large enough. Hopefully you or them aren’t socially awkward and end up having a great time while meeting new people. The food portions are big and the leftovers are delicious. Order the big drink with the fire in the middle: Scorpion or a sake bomb if you wanna get rowdy. They have happy hour app specials after 9p and my favorite $ 34 Dinner for Two is always a great deal.

White sauce, white sauce, white sauce!!! If you want your money’s worth on food, Kobe’s will definitely do just that. I only come here for birthdays because coming here on a norm will kill my waist and diet! Haha but this is a great place for a cheat day and leftovers taste just as good if not better. Hey, even great after a night of drinking! ;) Depending on the size of your party, sometimes you end up sitting with ransoms, and hope their just as cool as you. Hah. But if you have a great group, you’ll definitely enjoy your time here. I know I do! Come with a sense of humor, the chefs are funny and want nothing more but to entertain you and make sure your food is served to perfection. Hey, if you’re lucky and cool with them, they’ll give you extra servings of the food ;) When ordering, honestly get the combos. Yes, you will have to pay a little more, but it’s worth it. Now let’s talk food! You first get served soup and salad before everything, something light before the something heavy of what’s about to be cooked is good. I absolutely love the veggies, the zucchini and broccoli tho. They get cooked with a nice dollop of butter goodness. Hmmmm! Next they cook are the noodles, egg fried rice, then the meat. By this time I barely feel like I even made a dent on my plate, it looks like never ending. Trust, you will have left overs! The drinks are good here too, Kobe breeze is my personally fav and along with the plum wine. I’m a sweet drinker, so. Don’t judge me. :) but of course if you’re gonna go big, get the scorpion! Don’t ask, just order it! Sign up for their newsletter, they send out great deals and even coupons for just missing you! Come here on your birthday and your meal is practically free! Now who doesn’t love a free meal?! This place is fun and food is great!
