So good! Loved it. In ordered the 2 app for $ 10 and got the eggplant and hummus and they were great. I didn’t want too much food and the sever was fantastic! When I asked about getting a skewer of chicken on the side he told me about a kids portion. It was perfect! The flavor was amazing and of course I mixed in the eggplant and hummus! Fantastic I checked in the the free dessert…(of course) and it was rice pudding w cinnamon and the perfect ending to a delicious meal!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Popped in for a quick dinner before a family function. The server was very courteous and quickly took our order. We shared everything and it was all delicious. The moussaka was very good with a light cheese topping. The lentil soup was creamy and delicious. The cigars were also very tasty and the spinach and feta pide was excellent. The server came out at the end with a complimentary tasting before providing the bill. An excellent choice for dinner! Will come back.

The place is off the main road, but definitely worth checking out. Parking was good as it has its own lot. The food tasted great and came out quickly. Server was really nice as well. Prices weren’t bad at all. It was my first time there, and at the end of my meal we were given a free dessert. Really impressed by this as it shows a commitment to customer service. Will definitely be going back. Overall: Really great food and very nice service.

So tasty! Would recommend to anyone that like lamb. The hot sauce is a bit on the spicy side but my husband loves it.

First time at a Turkish restaurant. Some familiar Mediterranean flavors along with a few new ones. Good portions and better service. Give it a shot.

This restaurant is a solid five stars. So delighted that my sister decided to adventure with a different cuisine… Every time she visits Orlando, she wants Italian! On a Saturday night(about 7:30 pm) 5 of us walked into this place; we had No problem getting a table because the place was pretty empty. We were immediately greeted and sited by a friendly gentleman. Comfortable ambience, we felt at home. We ordered drinks(wine and martinis– well priced) and the waiter kindly answered some of our questions. so we ordered. And the delicious food started coming. We have lentil soup, creamy and flavorful. The lava bread(warm) and the Ezme(like a Turkish version of a Mexican salsa) simple Amazing. We loved both. We tried the Lamb Shish Kebab, The Chicken Adana, Iskender kebab and Lamb Shanks. All entrees were outstanding– very good flavors and they were served with their delicious rice and a savory lettuce/cabbage kinda of salad. Overall, We were very pleased Great dinner! We asked for the check and the waiter came back with complimentary dessert… rice pudding small portions to try. Very sweet of his part. Highly Recommended!

Been wanting to come to this place after they opened and finally it happened. As an appetizer we ordered the lava bread with the hummus, it was so delicious! I then order a dish which I forgot the name but it has Gyro meat and their homemade bread. After checking in on Unilocal I got a free desert which was baklava. I’ve ate baklava before and I just loved the pistachio crumbs they put on top, it took it to another level.

While no points can be given for an inspired restaurant name, Turkish Bar and Grill gets many Unilocal stars for great food and service. The restaurant is attractive, upscale and a bit chic. The menu includes a good selection of authentic middle eastern appetizers. We ordered a combo plate which included babaghanouj, hummus, sautéed eggplant, feta, and stuffed grape leaves. We also had the Lavas bread to go with the appetizers. The bread came out beautifully puffed and steaming, and was excellent for using to dig into the different appetizers. The baba ghanouj and hummus were fresh but nothing over-the-top. The stuffed grape leaves, however, we’re probably the best I’ve had in any Mediterranean restaurant. Entrees at our table included Spinach and feta Pide, a pizza like flat bread, which was a nice change up from regular pizza, lamb shiskas, and kabob combo plates. Rave reviews from all the carnivores at the table for well cooked and seasoned dishes. There was a Unilocal check in offer for a free dessert, and two were brought to the table, a rice pudding and a brown top pudding. Both suffered from an excessive amount of cinnamon, but we’re still a great finish to the meal, and being complementary made them even sweeter. I ordered a Turkish coffee, which was piping hot and deep in flavor. Service was fantastic. Prices were a bit higher then other spots, but with the quality of the food, friendliness of service, and free dessert, I really can’t complain. I would definitely return when back in the area.

When thoughts of a trip to Turkey are prompted by this restaurant’s signs, I had to visit. Overall enjoyed the restaurant, nothing exceptional but the ambience and menu made the connection to my trips there.

This place is not to be missed. It is a culinary adventure. Very authentic. Our waiter Teo was phenomenal and guided us through an unfamiliar menu making many helpful suggestions. We tasted a lot of dishes each one more delightful than the last. This was a wonderful evening.

This restaurant would not be a place I’d normally go to, but my wife loves Middle Eastern food. We saw this place out of the corner of our eyes in Altamonte Springs late last night(01/17)and off we go. What a surprise. We were their last customers of the night, so we had to order all our food at the same time(dessert included) because the kitchen was closing. No big deal. You would have thought my wife was in heaven For an app, we ordered the hummus with cheese and bubble bread. For dinner, I got the chicken chops with rice. My wife got the Moussaka with rice. For dessert, we ordered the rice pudding and, on recommendation, the keneffe. Well, because of the ease of preparation for the kitchen, we got dessert first(the keneffe). Honestly, one of the best desserts ever. If I had know it was that good, I would just ordered that. The rest of our food came out in a timely fashion and was incredible. And this is from a guy who would never choose this restaurant by himself. Now, it will be in our regular rotation. Highly recommended. Our server was delightful and had a great personality and warm smile. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. They also have a bar, but we did not venture into it. The restaurant was very clean as well and the staff we saw all seemed to be smiling — especially for a Sunday night at closing time. We never felt rushed or that the employees were doing us a favor by staying open. If you’re looking for something different — or maybe want to impress a date with your culinary diversity, I’d highly recommend Turkish Bar and Grill.

My friend wanted to go to Bosphorous in Winter Park. I insisted that based on the reviews, we needed to visit Turkish Bar & Grill. In the end, none of us were as happy as we normally are when we visit Bosphorous. Some say the prices here are better than Bosphorous. However, at dinner, I felt the value was similar. The good: Extremely helpful and honest people work here. They are five stars in my book. The portions were great. The bad: The food tasted bland to all of us. There wasn’t enough flavor for us. Honestly, that’s likely what the majority of people like. If you don’t like much spice in your food, I recommend coming here. The staff makes this place worth the visit. I won’t be visiting again, but I hope they add some more kick to their food in the future.

Lahmacun was very oily, Also rice in family combo was terribly oily, Overall: Bosporus is much better than this place as a Turkish restaurant, and even iranian restaurants make much better kebabs than they have. By the way, either Bosporus or this place can’t be really compares to what Newyork city Turkish restaurants serve. I’m giving two stars instead of one, because doner kebab was above average. Also, before forgetting, the salad they serve, especially parsley was not washed I guess.

The service here is impeccable! This was my first time at a Turkish restaurant and my server Enise was incredibly helpful in explaining what various items were and gave great recommendations. Even if the food was meh(which it isn’t), I would probably find myself coming back here. To start, they have great appetizer deals — 2 for $ 7.99 or 5 for another reasonable amount. I ordered the first and got the ezme(think roasted pepper tapenade) and a yogurt with garlic and walnuts. Order the lavos bread with these to dip. Great way to start a meal! For my main dish, I ordered the abana kabob made with lamb. The dish comes out steaming on top of rice with cabbage, lettuce, seasoned onions, and Turkish pepper on the side. I ate the cabbage and lettuce separate and the onions and rice with the kabob. This was so tasty! They also have a small selection of Turkish wines and beers. I had a glass of their Turkish red(can’t remember the name) with dinner. I wish I had had room for dessert because the baklava looked amazing! Next time …
