This place has a cute little coffee shop vibe to it. They are half coffee shop and half burrito place. I had their deluxe burrito and thought it was excellent. The salsa they served with it was also quite good. It had a little kick to it, but not too much. I also ordered a Mexican mocha which was very good. The food arrived very quickly! I would stop by again next time I’m in Amarillo.

A solid four stars. Fresh ingredients and coffee, efficient and nice staff.
They have a drive through too!
Super busy in the morning but it moves fast. Big shaded outdoor seating area.
They have two large filtered water carafe, bring in your water bottle.
For overall food flavor my nod still goes to Einsteins bagels but this is a great travel pit stop.

Doesn’t open at 7:00 or 7:10 maybe some time after if you want a breakfast burrito. For lunch, burritos are good but would be awesome if they put more meat in them, for example, a picadillo burrito is 40% rice 40% beans 10% whatever else and 10% meat.

The Burrito Stop is a coffee shop they specialize in coffees and coffee of the day. I ordered the chorizo burrito loaded which was chorizo, potatoes, Jack cheese and egg, very stingy on the chorizo very plain. My husband ordered the loaded smoked pork burrito again very chintzy on the pork if you could find it, I give this a 3 nothing special as far as the burritos.

My chicken burrito was great. Chicken was large cubes and not overlooked. All was flavorful .

Been eating here a few times a week for awhile. Great burritos, nice friendly staff, always fresh! They have great coffee. My only complaint would be the queso. I would love to see them kick it up a bit. Other than that give them a try. The chicken burrito is my fave!

This is hands down the best breakfast burrito in town, and I’ve been nearly everywhere. The house made chorizo is amazing! Great staff, great food! I come here nearly every week and only consider going somewhere else if they are closed!

Every time I place a call-​in order it’s a real challenge. The guy that answers just isn’t good at taking the order… ever. But the burritos are too damn good to let this stop me. And the girl that usually works the front counter is always really nice.

First… probably the BEST breakfast burrito EVER! BUT…(and my only complaint) have had repeated problems with posted hours. Yesterday, sat in front of the shop from 8:00 to 8:15 waiting for them to open. Left at 8:15. Posted hours showed 8:00 on Saturday. Other vehicles pulled up and left during that time. OPEN sign was posted but it was dark and doors were locked. On other occasions have been told that «the cook isn’t here yet» on weekdays (not often but on more than one occasion). Since I am traveling from across town it would be great to be able to follow posted times of the establishment.

Overall an average burrito; not bad but not great either. Prices are standard. The place has more if coffee shop vibe than I was expecting, nice décor but didn’t seem like a place to sit and have lunch, more like a teen hangout. Based on other reviews I have to say I was let down, again this place is good but only average.

Great place for breakfast or lunch! I had the loaded burrito with steak and it was amazing. I preferred the green sauce over the red, cause I enjoy really spicy food. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for some good food!

The place is quaint, yet kind of hip. It has a coffee shop vibe and serves the best pinto beans in existence. The breakfast burrito was delicious; probably the second best I’ve ever had.
Both the house made chorizo and the jalapeño smoked pork were delicious on the burrito, but the star of the show was my side of pinto beans. They were smoky with a little spice. Their flavor was complex and I couldn’t figure out what magical spices were combined to yield this epic cup of beans. I would eat these daily if I lived in Amarillo.

Excellent breakfast burrito. I am traveling from Southern California (where we get great traditional Mexican food), and both my husband my I loved our breakfast. We both got loaded burritos, mine sausage, his chorizo. Good balance of fillings. Two burritos with coffees were $ 12. Don’t be afraid to try this place even tho it only has a couple reviews. Most of the people stopping at 7am looked like they were in work trucks. That’s the best kind of place to eat if u ask me:)

Just enjoyed a fabulous jalapeño smoked pork breakfast burrito. Very clean place with friendly service. This burrito was only $ 3.75. Both green and red salsas go perfect with this burrito.

Delicious chicken burrito with rice and retried beans. The bummer of this restaurant is that it’s only open until 3pm. I would go back for the chicken though. Smokey and tender. A+
