It’s a nice hotel and all but when the winds shift, you get the awful smell from the stockyard 20 or so miles down the interstate. So far the room is stink free but the hallways all reek.

I don’t understand what it is with either the Wifi or the TV’s between this and their sister property(they share the same parking lot) Homewood Suites by Hilton. The room is fine here, bed is comfy, AC works well, no freeway noise, and the shower was big and water hot. The Wifi is not up to Hilton standards, they do a basic free version,(slow and terrible for streaming) The TV has HD for the first few channels and then switches to analog or mono on the upper channels. This is the same as the property next door. Both ESPN and ESPN2 had no signal on a college football Saturday. The front desk was helpful in trying to fix, but ultimately had to say we are trying to upgrade our systems. As an upper tier Hilton Honors member I expect better

AWFUL!!! My husband who travels for a living often stays in Hiltons and for the most part has a good experience, so when we were on a road trip we thought we’d stay here. BIGMISTAKE! We checked into a hotel room that was unfortunately right on the end next to the gym and the door outside so the noises were awful… Beds were probably some of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on, the room temp was set so low when we first got there I was chattering my teeth. The breakfast is a joke and they couldn’t even get warm biscuits out. It was just one thing after another. On our way back, we stayed at the Drury Inn which was leaps and bounds better AND we even got a much bigger room for less money. I would never recommend this hotel.

Very happy with my visit. Another business travelers delight. FREEWIFI! Simple check in, a sundries bar, large lobby area. Room was great — no doubts about cleanliness. I would stay here again if I were passing through. Be sure to check out Jimmy Johns sandwich shop — just a couple hundred feet away.

When I drop $ 100 on a hotel room, I definitely expect an above-average experience. Hilton did not deliver said experience. Sure, the rooms were clean and had amenities like a flatscreen TV, microwave and fridge, but none of that matters when you can’t sleep because of neighbors. Apparently there was some graduation party the night we stayed here and we had to deal with running/stomping/other noises until well past 1 a.m. Breakfast was also sub-par(compared to other Hilton’s I’ve stayed at) and full of old/dirty/unappetizing items. Also, when I asked for an omelet with everything(from the station where you can order omelets, waffles, etc.), the cook muffled a very audible«you’ve got to be kidding me.» Seriously. The other staff was nice and like I said, the rooms were clean, so they get two stars. But definitely not worth $ 100 a night.

Do NOT get the fish and chips! Holy crap, I nearly threw up. Overcooked, greasy, and a terrible taste. I will not be eating anything here again. Other than that the room is nice and it’s very close to the highway and easy to find. It’s a pretty average hotel, nothing special.

Friendly staff, nice rooms and close to Starbucks… all the winning ingredients to a pleasant stay.

Short and sweet: 1) Check-in was easy 2) Room clean though the bathroom was a little tight 3) Thermostat doesn’t work properly. The room was either cold, or if set to 73 became uncomfortably hot due to the thermostat turning up the heat. 4) The pillows were awesome, but the bed needs to be replaced as it lacks support. 5)Breakfast! OMGoodness on a plate! Fresh fruit, excellent oatmeal, perfectly cooked waffle and omelette to order. And the best part was Cody’s smile, genuine attention to details and consistent 5-stars service. When he wasn’t tending to guest, he was diligently working hard to make sure every station was fully stocked. Breakfast with Cody is the only reason why this is not a 3-stars review!

For the money(150/night avg) not worth it. The rooms are on par with a normal Hampton Inn, and honestly unless you are Hilton Gold don’t even bother staying here. The bartender needs to be fired. He is rude, and always makes guests feel like a burden. If they would improve their prices and bartender I may come back. But right now, I would rather get crappy service from a comfort inn over this subpar place. Update! If you put something negative on Unilocal, said bartender will stalk you on Unilocal and call you a moron. Thanks for reinforcing my point«Keith M.»

The Garden Inns are excellent– passing through and stopped for the night. Very friendly staff– excellent rooms and relaxing They could get help in the bar however — only one person for the bar and restaurant and it was pretty busy

Just passing thru Amarillo on 4th of July. There are a lot of children and families here but hotel is very quiet and peaceful. Hotel bar and grill are delicious! Pool, Jacuzzi, and Fitness Center are fabulous. In room King Deluxe has a Keurig machine and cloud 9 bed! Very luxurious to the point of forgetting you’re in Amarillo…
