Zemer’s Deli

We stopped here on Wednesday, Dec 30^th, 2015 because of the good reviews and unfortunately they were closed, not sure if out of business but thought odd for a deli to be closed during lunchtime

Zemers is a treat! I love the Avocado Grilled Cheese with Tomato Basil Soup. Always delicious. The only thing I would change is the ordering system. You order as soon as you walk in– if you get behind a big group or someone that has to read the entire menu before deciding you will be there a while and it can et crowded. Food is so good I overlook that though. You will want to take home a jar of pickles, so you may as well order them with your meal.

Have come in several times since opening and have NEVER had a less than incredible experience. Food is always delicious. Love the subtle touches like fresh homemade pickles and thumbprint cookies on every plate. Service is not just friendly but super friendly and the kitchen has stopped to ask how the meal was every time. Love the music selection always playing and cute atmosphere! Love!

While at one time I did enjoy Zemer’s for their friendly staff and great food; I now find myself conflicted by being nickel and dimed. The items at this deli come at a great expense. For example, I ordered the Avocado Grilled Cheese With Tomato Basil Soup and a side salad. According to the menu every sandwich comes with a side, to which I believed that the Avocado Grilled Cheese With Tomato Basil Soup would come with. However, after reviewing my receipt, I was disappointed to find I had been charged an extra $ 2.25 for the salad on top of the $ 8.50. Needless to say, will not be returning.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots. Everything is made from scratch and super delicious! My favorite item is the Peaches and Brie sandwich. The sandwich is made up of turkey slices, small slivers of peach, and sweet peach brie. YUM! Their homemade pickles are added on the side and are an absolute must have, in addition to a small desert! The pickles are so delicious, you can buy your own jar. The dessert. . oh the dessert! I cant. even.. . well you get the point. The sandwich also comes with your choice of a side. I always get the fruit. I always come back to this place, it’s a local favorite!

Horrible service and food. I guess they assume you are to know there process of ordering at the front without any direction.

I stopped here due to their vegan options, and I had the Get Fit salad with the Veggie sandwich done as a wrap. I have a dairy and soy allergy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful about finding out what I could have there. Both the wrap and salad were delicious and very fresh.
On the down side, this restaurant needs some renovation on the inside, especially the ceiling. Some kilz and paint would really go a long way for the ceiling and bathroom.

My Husband and I ate here today and thought it was very good. Salads were very fresh and tasty. The restaurant staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also very clean which is a huge plus. We will definitely make it a regular stop.

The building needs a little renovation but the food and customer service need no change! We got a groupon to eat lunch here. My husbands data was off (lol) so it didn’t pull up the groupon, the kind man redeemed it for us anyways! We both ordered the peaches and Brie sandwich, so sweet and also savory! The turkey on it was awesome. They definitely aren’t stingy with portions either. My side was chips and salsa, pretty good too. The meals also come with a dessert of the day, today it happened to be a cookie. It was basically an oatmeal, snicker doodle and chocolate chip cookie all in one. It was moist and delicious! There were peach preservatives as well as actual slices. I read a lot of reviews saying this was a healthy alternative for lunch, that’s the only thing I disagree with. I am unsure if people truly understand what healthy is lol. The bread is clearly bread, white to say the least (do your research), peach preservatives aren’t good due to all the additives, chips are empty calories — also full of preservatives. Not to complain about it, I’m the one who chose to eat it — just saying don’t be fooled by that one thing people say. This place is delicious and I’ll be back!

My favorite new deli! I’ve tried the chicken enchiladas, the turkey sandwich, & the black bean salad so far & have LOVED all of them! The salsa tastes super fresh & is perfect with the enchiladas.
They give you a little treat with every meal & the apple thumbprints are like little bites of heaven. Seriously! They are so yummy that I will have to buy new clothes if I don’t stop getting them! :)
If you’re tired of having boring sandwiches, try Zemer’s.

Peaches and Brie sandwich is the bomb. Little pricey meal, but you will be full when you leave. Tomato soup was okay, not awesome. And the homemade cookies with the meals are yummy! Definitely will be back. Good lunch place with your girl friends!

This place is awesome! I’m really picky about what I eat and I love that I found this place! The owner is amazing and the staff is always very nice — they even call by name!

One would think that a restaurant with «Deli» in its name might just have typical deli foods. The only thing close was a smoked turkey sandwich. No pastrami, nor corned beef, but lots of turkey. I ordered a ½ smoked turkey sandwich and kettle chips with a drink. $ 10.21 for a meal I could make at home. I’ll bet the turkey came form the meat counter at the local grocery store. The «Kettle» chips were poured out of a Lay’s bag. I could see the bag laying on the back counter. Don’t waste your money at this «Deli».
