Ashley is the best server. Boyfriend had the HUGE grilled chicken salad and I had the rum bbq salmon with potato salad and green beans; which was good not great. The double decker white wine paired nicely. The environment was cozy and chic inside with lounge couches to dine on and a fireplace. I chose to sit outside in the open air terrace which had high tops and picnic style seating too. The seven layer dip was the most disappointing dip I have ever had. It was edible and I ate all of it cause I only return food when it’s disgusting. But the dip was NOT something I would ever order again. The potato chips are great and so is the naan bread. Drinks have great prices and food too. I would visit restaurant again, mostly because I love great service and because I am hoping they may offer a yummier experience for us next time.

A little hipster, a little cozy, overall very relaxed place. I really enjoy the atmosphere, although a bit loud when the house is full. The 2 different fireplaces and couch like booths make for an inviting environment. Our server was great, he stopped by our table many times. I ordered the Flying Bison Rusty Chain, an amber ale. I enjoyed this selection very much. For dinner I ordered the side ceasar salad and a cup of soup. Originally I ordered the potato soup, however the manager very apologetically came to our table to let us know ow that they were out of potato soup. I then opted for the tomato bisque. The salad was a typical ceasar salad. The soup was homemade with large bread croutons. I enjoyed the soup very much. When our food arrived I saw that instead of fries they served tator tots. Yum! I of course ordered a side of tots and our server was happy to add to our order. The tots were hot, crispy and delicious! Great food, excellent atmosphere and service. A must go to place!

June 8, 2016 Wednesday — 7PM for dinner 4 Adult and a kid Atmosphere — 4 stars Food — 4 stars Service — 4 stars Background — Needed a light dinner after having a huge lunch. Atmosphere — Assaulted by the volume. After a bit everyone must of received their food as the volume decreased to a normal volume. They have a section of couches that serve as your chair to the table. That looks so cozy. Ideal for four people groups, we had five in party. Food Drink — The word taps in their name and they have them. I got a local red, Aviator Red from Flying Bison. Dinner — After getting there the idea of getting apps for everyone went out the door. I was still stuck on apps so I went with the pretzels. I was not expecting sticks. But to be honest I did not read past the item name. The sticks were great, soft yummy pretzels with chewy center and rock salt on top of them. Service — The place was loud so it was hard to hear our waiter at times. The manager did have to come over to tell us that they were out of potato soup. He was very polite about and took the soups of the bill even after getting the ladies different soups. Future — Yes

Located quite close to the University at Buffalo, Brick House is a reliable place for a hearty meal. The food is affordable for a college student, yet delicious at the same time. The service is quite efficient too. The waitresses are very friendly and are open to helping you decide what you want to eat. Coming here, I always order the same thing. The Drunken Chops, grilled pork chops with a delicious bourbon glaze and topped with fried onions, are definitely the best thing on the menu. It’s always juicy and flavor-packed when I order it, but I hear it can be a hit-or-miss with how well it’s cooked sometimes. I’ve never had a dry chop, but it’s happened to my friend’s order before. Aside from this, I’ve had the Chicken Pot Pie, which was pretty generic. It wasn’t anything special. Their Deviled Eggs are not bad. Pretty well priced for what they are. The Duck Pizza wasn’t the best. It’s overly greasy and you don’t really taste the duck. I definitely recommend coming here to try the food for yourself!

Love this place! Not sure where to start but the duck wings are delicious, the pretzel sticks are delicious(comes with 3 dipping sauces) the flat bread pizza is fantastic, wasn’t a fan of the buffalo meat balls, but their happy hour snacks deal is great $ 5 and $ 7 and totally worth it. The beer and cocktail selection is just as good. A list of many beers to satisfy anyone. The cocktails are made really well. I liked that there was couches instead of the old fashioned booths when you sit down to eat. TVs are everywhere just in case your in for a game, and the bar area is big enough for atleast 30 people.

Not my first time going so I was pleased as always with the food and service. The prices are a little bit high for my liking but it’s worth it once you taste the food. Area around our table and overall restaurant was clean and neat. Service was good, the gaps between visits to check on us were kind of long tho, but nothing major for a bad review. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable with the couches, but the only thing is that if you’re a person who gets cold fast, or is with someone that does that may be a problem because it can be a chilly inside

You know… just an ordinary American restaurant, nothing special or spectacular about this restaurant. Food quality and service are average.

Great atmosphere. Always my go to restaurant. The food is pretty good and the drinks are always on point. I love the outdoor patio when the weather is nice and the cozy feel inside when the weather is not so nice. It gets pretty busy so service can be slow at times so i always make sure I’m not in a rush when i go here. Overall nice place for brunch on sundays or dinner anytime!

Got the cheeseburger which was average but it was a huge portion. They have a nice drink selection with good prices. Seems like a good place for birthdays.

I only like a couple things on the menu, one combo is the duck wings and French onion soup. Other is the chicken and waffle dish. The wings are pretty amazing! Having tried wings in multiple different places this is one of my top places to get wings!

Went here last night for dinner. I’ve been here a few times in the past and never any issues, in fact this restaurant was a favorite of mine(that was until last night). My dinner was really good. I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The 1st issue was with my appetizer. I had the Calamari. The batter on the Calamari wasn’t even cooked all the way. Then my appetizer came out with my dinner. And my waiter even asked me if I wanted it for an appetizer. The last issue was I asked if they could put on the UFC fight that was free on Fox. They told me no because it was against their policies because they«don’t want that type of crowd»!! First of all they call themselves a man cave. What kind of man cave doesn’t allow UFC?!! And I will be contacting corporate.

I like this place overall. The menu has some interesting options and I want to come back and try more. For drinks I’ve had their bloody mary which is amazing and their Moscow mules, also very good. I had the bison burger which was ok. The meat didn’t have a ton of flavor and I thought there was supposed to be some kind of jalapeño thing on it which wasn’t on there. That was the reason I got it so that was disappointing. I would have just ordered a regular burger for cheaper had I known that. My boyfriend got wings and didn’t like them. I noticed they have brunch which I’m interested to try sometime.

I really love Brick House! Their setup is great having multiple long tables for big groups, a large horseshoe bar to sit at, regular booths, couch booths(literally, they’re couches!!), normal tables, and outdoor seating. Their staff is always friendly and they have great happy hour specials. from 2 – 6 and 10-midnight they have many different $ 5 and $ 7 appetizers. If you go for dinner, try the burgers! They might seem weird because they are rectangular in shape but they taste delicious. Also, they make a great moscow mule.

Ok so since I went to this place twice within a week I figured I should review it! Again not one for chains but this place is really cute. All the tables in the middle of the restaurant have couches as seating and there’s a giant fireplace that not only makes for nice ambiance but is so toasty if your lucky enuf to get one of the three tables right next to it. Ok now to the food … the mushroom pizza and the duck wings were reeeaally good. The zucchini curls were yummy but not being one for too much breaded fried food I peeled off the breading thereby sort of negating the essence of said curls. But if you like fried stuff and you like zucchini these things are great. Last and very much the least was the meat and cheese board… which was very disappointing to this girl as cheese boards are the reason for my existence! It was meh at best, it had Brie, goat cheese and a smoked cheddar, some sad olives, pepperoni, Salami and prosciutto and the worst part was the weird toasts, they were weirdly oily and just not good. Oh and both times I went I got all this on happy hour specials! So totally worth it. And both times I got the same drink which was very yummy! The lavender mule! Get it! :)

After we were seated my Husband said«beer, couches, and tv — what more can you ask for!!» The ambience was really fun! Quotes on the walls(«Work is the curse of the drinking classes» –Oscar Wilde… was one example), couches as seats for tables, and couches & lounge chairs with big TVs in the back corner. An extensive selection of beers on tap. We has salads — Asian chicken salad and chopped salad with chicken for my husband. The salads were fresh and tasty. Wish we were local — it was one of the most fun eating experiences I’ve had in a while!

Went to Brickhouse midday on a Sunday. Awesome brunch menu(see picture) but we decided to get drinks and order from the regular menu. $ 2 mimosas on Sunday! We got the house made chips with blue cheese and queso. Very good. Took a long time to come out and our entrees came out quickly after which was kind of disappointing. We hardly made a dent in the app. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The soup was chunky, not hot, weird flavor(lack of flavor to be exact). Grilled cheese was good but cold by the time I got to eating it because we were still enjoying the app. My accompaniment ordered fish and chips. He said it was a little salty but good. Great place to drink and hang out. Would definitely be a good place for a large group. The beer bongs are about $ 20 and a glass of labatt is about $ 4.

After a long day babysitting and then driving home 2 hours we needed a good relaxing meal. This was a perfect place to just enjoy and have a great dinner. They were playing some great music and the place was hopping. We had to wait about ½ hour for a table but it was worth it. Our server Tia came to our table with water when she greeted us. She was wonderful throughout the whole night. After she brought our drinks and took our order our appetizers were brought much quicker than expected. We ordered the buffalo style chicken meatballs. If you like your balls spicy than these are for you. Even my husband enjoyed them with the hot sauce. They were cooked perfectly. I ordered the fish and chips and my husband ordered the meatloaf. The fish and chips were really good and the fries were so delicious. My husband said the meatloaf was so good with real mash potatoes. The food was freshly made. To end the night a well deserved piece of bourbon chocolate cake and ice cream. And a big thank you to Tia. She did a great job and asset to the business!

I normally come to Brick House for drinks, the cocktail selection is always pretty fun… for a chain that is. The place is pretty cozy with couches as the seating at most tables it something that I’ve never seen any other place do before. This place is convenient for me personally, it’s kinda right in the middle of all the main shopping areas in Amherst. Happy hour specials are certainly worth it if you like their cocktails, pretty sure they do 6 dollar cocktails. The beer selection is large, they have just about everything, something for everyone. They offer beer towers as well, I’ve never asked if they do mixed drink towers but that is something to think about if you’re looking to get a little sideways. The food is okay, i’ve never gotten anythign

I’ve came here a couple of times, mainly for the atmosphere. Everyone always end up having a great time despite the fact that the food isn’t so great. My favorites are the duck wings and duck pizza. Highly recommend that. The calamari and pretzel bites are also great. The salmon entrée and the burgers aren’t anything I would rave about. I would not order any of those again. I personally think the appetizers are much better than the entrees. If you’re looking for a place to grab some drinks and appetizers, to socialize with friends/family, brick house gets the job done.

Came here the other night for date night. We got here at 5pm and I was a little nervous because the parking lot was FULL but when we walked in there was no wait for a table. We were seated quickly and waiter came right over to ask about our drinks. This was our first time here and the waiter seemed a little impatient that we needed a minute to look over the menu. I understand, it’s 5pm on a Saturday and you want to be able to flip the table. We settled on drinks and got some chicken bites with fries for an appetizer. My husband started with a Warsteiner beer and it comes in bottles. It was SKUNK so he only had the one before he switched to a draft, Blue Moon. He’s only had Warsteiner on draft at Oktoberfest celebrations, so in the bottle was no good. I had a drink called«St Bubbles», it was good but for some reason I thought it would be in a martini glass and it’s served on the rocks. No big deal(*previous reviews I have mentioned being pregnant. I lost my pregnancy last week, thus the ability to drink again. I’d rather be pregnant but when I’m not then I enjoy alcohol). I had a mushroom«flatbread» pizza. It was pretty good but I have an unusual complaint about it: it had too much cheese and not enough shrooms. I know, what kind of self described fat person am I when I complain about too much cheese? It’s wrong, I know. My husband had the ribs with fried chicken, their Saturday special. The chicken was good, the ribs were pretty fatty and we would not get those again. Overall we did enjoy our meal here. The menu had many appealing choices and this is a place we will return to. The bar looks like a fun place to sit and drink.
