The owner was very kind. The caramel mochiatto was delicious. This place aIso offers painting of vases, bowls, mugs, and animal figurines. There is a store next door with funny gag gifts. I will certainly return.

For a few pennies less than Starbucks the mocha was just so-so. Recommend La Crema down the street.

Everything is fun here, candy is a bit overpriced, but good. We have painted plenty of stuff, but this time 4 of us went. There was a poor selection of greenware to paint, and the paints were flogged up and difficult to use.

This place now has tea experience. I can’t wait to sit and chat with Johnny and see how the town is doing. My kids love to come and do the painting when raining outside. I can’t wait for my next Chai tea latte. Thanks for keeping local traditional alive.

Stopped in for lunch very friendly girl working, she was the only one working, things were somewhat slow because of this. Baked goods looked amazing, Asian salad was not the best, broccoli cheddar soup was great with a lot of broccoli. A guy started playing guitar who was decent, but didn’t set up in a way that it was for our entertainment, would have loved for it to have been official.

Great cookies, great coffee, great chocolates and great customer service. I’ve taken the fused glass class and it was a blast. The pottery is also fun to paint. They are happy to ship your art to you if you are leaving the area before it can be fired. Do yourself a favor and kill an afternoon here!

I highly recommend Johnny Piccasos. Not only do they have great fused glass you can do but also painting ceramics too! As if that weren’t enough Johnny is a delightfully witty fella ! Did I mention he has a great painting and bust of himself too ! ;) Get wild get creative enjoy some friendly local characters and a coffee to boot ! You won’t be disappointed and maybe before you know it you’ll be one of those local characters :)

We were just walking around, shopping and killing time on a beautiful day, when we went in for a mocha. On our way to order we saw ceramic stuff on a shelf — and thusly the remainder of our afternoon was most pleasantly spent. The mocha, by the way, had probably the best tasting chocolate I’ve had in one. Perhaps Dilettante chocolate is in competition for best. But it was great. It only cost $ 60 for two people to have a day-long art project(we chose 2 medium-sized ones, smaller ones cost less & larger ones more), coffee, and tax. I consider that very fair.
Pickout something to paint and go to to town! This is my second time here. Its so relaxing and fun. There muffins are super delicious.

I live in CT most of the year, but come to Anacortes to work over my summer… I love my job but I mostly look forward to going to Johnny Picassos! Their drinks are great but I just love the atmosphere and the creative nature of their establishment. If you are in need for inspiration, or just a new homemade coffee mug — Stop by!

Great service, good coffee, homemade pastries & chocolate covered marshmallows are very good. Soups are very tasty Ask if pastries are homemade. Very friendly staff & regulars. Local, fun coffee shop at it’s best.

BEST coffee on Fidalgo Island, or arguably all of the San Juan Islands. Johnny(owner) is also one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Locals favorite, fun and relaxed atmosphere — plus a glass studio! He is the Picasso of coffee in Anacortes! We didn’t know a soul when we moved to Anacortes, and Johnny made us feel at home immediately!

Refreshingly good coffee and much much much more. Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Occasional open mic nights, free wifi, ceramics and fused glass studio and magical elixirs that do no wrong. This is worth the stop.
