This is a small Carls Jr. to begin with and its positioned in a weird location. They staff the bear minimum amount of people so its always a long wait no matter what time you go too. One of the worst things about this Fast Food location is that there is no drive through. The food is Carl’s Jr food, so you know what you’re getting. I believe that the prices are a bit more expensive then the average Carl’s Jr.

Just amazing how they can still keep this place running when everything is so disfunctional. You can watch and see how they work and you see nothing is moving efficiently. Ive been here multiple time here because its convenient for me I live 3min away, but everytime the order takes forever. I also see some of their employees ”buddies” sitting at table and asking for some fries and never pay. Employees are too into their own conversations rather than taking care of customers orders. Management is poor too. They seem like they dont really care either. Sad.

We pulled in this location, there were people hanging outside the resturant, people in chairs in the parking space. One word«Ghetto», I should had left when I had the chance, We decided to go inside and order, worst mistake, The people working there saw us waiting to order no employee decided to help us, probably waited over 5 mins, saw one of the shift leader laughing and talking to her fellow coworkers, umm hello, we are trynna order and after they kept talking we needed leaving !!! Dont recommend this location ! Go elsewhere !! I will be calling to corporate and filling a complaint

I kindah want to give them 2 ½ stars because their staff were friendly and helpful. Also, this is a newer building facility. Very nice and clean. Clean floors, tables, bar tables and booths. Very family with kids friendly. The food is ok. Plenty of crispy lettuce(yrs, iceberg). We each got a Star Burger with cheese extra. My fiancé adds a Chili Strip. Somehow we had a coupon for 2 Star Burgers for $ 4.50, added cheese, the chili dollop and fries and paid $ 8.50. For the same amount if money, we could have gone to the Subway around the corner and gotten a full foot long Italian Sub with loads of veggies and had more better food. I just don’t find Carls Jr food quite worth the price. Again, clean, nice venue. Felt safe here after dark. Friendly courteous helpful employees. Neggie: they ding you with a surcharge if you were to use your debit card. Credit card usage is «free.»

Drive thru is open all night, but they only take Cash??? What’s the point of being open??? I saw about 6 cars drive thru because the lady at the drive thru said Cash only. It’s 2:59am Friday the 28th.

Manager here needs to understand she CANNOT ask for ID when using a credit card(VISA/Mastercard) no matter the amount of the purchase. It is against their merchant agreement. Complaint filed with Mastercard after she harassed my 14 year old daughter when purchasing food. She(my daughter) apparently knows the agreement better than the manager. :/ As far as the food is concerned, we’ve never gotten anything bad but as others have stated, they are slow. Some of the workers just appear that work hours is their social time to catch up on things. Some of the younger team are very polite and I appreciate them.

Slow service, stinky and filthy bathrooms. Tables and floors were dirty, and trash cans loaded with trash. Lots of homeless and teenagers just sitting there doing nothing. The cash register had to do pretty much all the work. The other employees that were there just talked to each other and don’t help to speed up the service.

So I had stopped by this place early one morning, completely by accident. Arrived a little early to my event and figured«hey I’ll stop and get me a coffee». I parked my car, and immediately noticed an older man just staring, sitting in a car directly behind me. No biggie. I waited about 5 – 7 minutes as I was making a call. When I finally decided to exit my car this man followed me inside! He kept ranting about something and I just ignored him, it was an empty lot so I KNEW he was talking to me. Walked in the restaurant and immediately noticed about 5 – 7 homeless folks just hanging around. One pounding on the table and the other snoring quite loud in one corner. The creepy man that followed me inside kept to himself in a corner waiting for me to order my coffee! initially I thought I was imagining, and attempted to walk to the restroom, which he quickly followed right behind me. I became so freaked out I sprinted to my car. And guess what? HEFOLLOWEDME! Talking some nonsense. I know he was probably not all there, and I guess this is why this place gets a bad rap. I have nothing against homeless folks but cmon, 24 hr loitering is bad for business. Decided to go to Starbucks up the street where the ambience was a little less… Odd. Anyway if I’m ever in the area I shall avoid. ATALLTIMES.

I’m little disappointed of ordering the cod sandwich here. The sandwich as whole was somewhat not too tasty n very bland. The fish wasn’t too fresh caused I got a little stomach ached after eating it. The cost is too expensive for a small catfish. I like McDonald fish filet that tastes way better than Carl Jr. Really, it is not worth the price and quality of a cod sandwich. Two thumbs down for cod sandwich, but the service was alright for fast food.

Who builds a Carl’s and doesn’t build a drive-thru? Seriously? I didn’t even know this existed. It’s sad too because it’s just down the street from their corporate headquarters. The food here is good, no real issues. Going inside though is a risk in your life because you might be attacked by a homeless person or a deranged drug addict. I’ve seen both here in droves. Do yourself a favor and drive a few minutes down north harbor to the location in Katcher street which is nice and clean.

Ok I had never been to this one before but I doubt I’ll be back 1) I asked for a small burger the guy tells me we have a big hamburger I say ok what does it have pickles onion ketchup mustard ok no onion or pickles and then he even offers to add cheese so I say ok sure! But I get my order and it had everything on it and the cheese that he ordered even and charged me extra for wasn’t on there I was so mad and the line was so long when I went to tell them I just took it off and ate it but that’s ridiculous to not pay that much attention cuz it was sure right on our receipt

Went in to this restaurant. Five people in line, one guy on the register. The other ladies were just standing around. Manager looked at us and smiled but didn’t get on register. Guy in front of me left, i did the same thing… there’s a Jack in the box right around the corner… won’t be back.

I came in wanting something very specific but it turns out that wasn’t on the menu the way I wanted it. My cashier was Jorge G. He saw my disappointment and offered to make something close! Awesome service! Jorge’s customer service would bring me back anytime. Too bad I was just passing by and don’t live in the area. The lot is typical, the roads are very busy and the inside looked clean enough. The restrooms are con operated which suggest … :x This place is a typical fast food restaurant.

The service is very slow but when you’re starving it’s close by. They could use a customer Svc and food overhaul.

I keep forgetting to not stop here. Carl’s, in general, is decent. But«Restaurant 1100001» is not. The food is fine, but it’s staffed by inefficient folks who are either poorly trained, not motivated, just not too bright, or perhaps all of the above. Five minutes in line to order — with only 2 people ahead of me — was bad enough, but a 13 minute wait to receive my order was worse. Keep in mind that I ordered a Famous Star combo, pretty much the most commonly sold item. On the up side, this location does attract some of downtown Anaheim’s finest crazy people, and I have never stopped here without finding at least one nut job in the dining room. So there’s that.

This place has gone bad! I used to come here all the time with my family for years before they renovated it but it’s apparent they lost their touch. An excessive amount of homeless in the dining area sleeping(even snoring)! Also, this place is known to be a teenager hide out and my visit today didn’t disappoint. The service is horrible, the cashier was doing 5 jobs at a time! I waited 13 minutes for a spicy chicken. I miss the old place!

Down town Anaheim is shaping up. Slowly but surely. Still its Carls Jr’s — Hey they finally rebuilt this old spot. The previous CJr’s here was a s**t hole. Old, outdated, and poorly run, think Tijuana CJr’s. Where you need to know Spanish to get your order. Vientiuno, vientiuno… long pause… number twenty one. However the new restaurant is a top notch Carls, better than the flagship home store down the street. Shiny clean store, way better staff. English speaking too. The food even seemed better. Western bacon cheese burger actually had some crunch in the onion rings a juicy patty plus the right amount of BBQ sauce and the fries were not wilted and dying on the vine. Also I didn’t get accosted by someone sketcher wanting change outside like so many times in the past. Did they round ‘em all up and send them across the street to the PD? I wonder??? Still a pain to get in and out of the lot, Why didn’t they put in a freakin drive-thru? –1star I will return to add to this review.
