My favorite dive bar right now is Lemon Twist. Their touch screen jukebox is fun, with all kinds of genres being played by the patrons. Beer is cheap and dart boards are plentiful. They have a few pool tables and a foosball table as well. The bathrooms are worn out, but I don’t mind. It’s everything you expect from a dive and I always have a good time here. The crowd is older, so the place stays pretty calm. No craziness, a wide selection of beer bottled and draft. This is the perfect place for a divey good time.

Been going to this bar for 30 years. Saw many transitions, several owner changes, spent shit loads of money there. That in itself makes me more than qualified to post a review of this particular bar. I quit going there since the newest owner has taken up residency. It’s not necessarily his fault, but then again it probably is. In renovating the establishment; updating, cleaning up, adding dart boards, etc., there is an influx of new patrons. A lot I have found were obnoxious, rude, pretenders(…people who think because they’ve been there 3 times they’re regulars now… ha.), or just a variety of idiots that come in, take your seat even though your stuff is there, your drinks or whatever are still full, out of their selfishness to have a spot to sit. I call it fucking rude. Used to be a wonderful shitty bar. Now it’s an updated bar with shitty patrons. Don’t get me wrong, back in the day we had shitty patrons, well one, Gale, and the bastard keeps coming back like herpes. But one was fine back then. Not a whole room full like now. Sorry Tisha, not bagging on you. Love you long time.

This bar was recommended to me by Juan a worker from the Penny Saver and I must admit is an awesome chill bar. No drama!!. Pool table is cheap and people are friendly. Came on a Friday night and it was really chill. Definitely a must !! Love the juke box not a lot of dive bars have them. Making this bar a must!!! Cool place to have a fun chill night !!! :)

Cool bar. The owner is trying new things. It is a dive bar. Bartenders are nice, sometimes they have some good drink specials. Pool and darts are the main games here. They have karaōke on Thursdays and Saturday. Stop in and check it out. You just might like it.

The few times I wanted to skip sitting in traffic on a Friday evening, I stopped in here. The bartender seemed ok, she was hanging out down at the end of the bar with the regulars. Someone bought me a drink and I tried to say thank you. And the guy didn’t even acknowledge me. I decided I would find a different place to enjoy a drink the next Friday. Aside from that, music level was decent and the parking isn’t the greatest. Very spacious to play pool.

I don’t have a drinking problem. I swear. I just happen to frequent a lot of dive bars because they’re the places where there’s a high percentage of being able to find steel tip dartboards. It’s why I ended up at the Lemon Twist Lounge one Friday night. Both steel and electronic dart boards. Pool tables and a scantily clad bartender. Music and cheap beer. No craft beer selection but they have the usual harder stuff so that some what makes up for the lack of better brews. Bartender was friendly as well as the owner, who happened to be throwing in the blind draw that night. (Friday nights — 8PM steel blind draw. $ 10 buy in. Blind draw doubles. Chicago format with the elimination round format TBD, depending on number of throwers, to save time) Decent size parking lot but was filled up on the Friday night I stopped by — probably due to the other businesses in the plaza; didn’t look to see what those were. I’m a fan of darts. So, I’m a fan of the Lemon Twist.

This place quickly made its mark for me as one of the best dives in the North OC area. The new ownership is really putting in the effort to take strides forward in improving this place. I went on a friday night and the bar wasnt overly crowded or obnoxiously loud, good for me(maybe bad for biz?) The patrons are a very mixed crowd as it didnt seem like one single demographic overran this place as you see happen to many other dives. The facility is spacious, about ~15−20 comfy seats at the bar, 3 pool tables(in good condition), 6 dart boards, a few arcade games & extra table seating. For a friday night this«bikini» bar didnt offer us any centerfold worthy eye candy, but i will say that our bartender did a great job of earning her tips with great service. She was quick, friendly, & capable of making some decent drinks. A few hidden gems that this place offers: Twisted Lemonade — its their signature drink, comes served in a large goblet with a Grand Mariner bottle as a little bomb that you empty yourself. Pretty good & easy drinking Rainbow shots — If you got a nice sized group, or feel like sharing a few shots with those around you. The rainbow shooters are a simple festive collection of shots made from malibu & come layered so each shot is a different color. Silly, but something to make the girls smile. Beef Jerky, what else goes better with a brew? Just ask, and you can get a nice package of spicy beef jerky for ~$ 5. The offer free wifi, the sign in & password are located on the top right corner of the bar, I didnt use it though since i was getting a nice 4GLTE connection in the place. One area of improvement would be the tap choices, 7 taps but in reality there are only 2 choices, watered down domestics or white/wheat ales. Meh, I’ll have some liquor. Lastly, the juke is touch tunes so you get a nice wide selection of music for a decent price. Thankfully, it has the option to spend an extra credit to Play Next and skip the slayer played by the dbag before you. Give this place a shot and buy your date a Twisted Lemonade. You’ll have a good time.

Went to the Lemon Twist on Wednesday night. Great atmosphere, good music, full bar, friendly staff and great prices. They had a lot of people there playing pool and darts, and watching sports on the big screens. I am definitely going back there :))

This place is a dump. Metered pours measured by electronic device on cap and if your polynesian expect to gettem up with other drunk polys who think they own this pile of shit. Last two times I came to this place we always end up having to brawl because there is always a hater who always wants to set trip. Get over yourselveswe just trying to function lmao.

This place is terrible. Large space but empty, odd crowd(and everyone is 40+), bartenders don’t look good at all, metered drinks(they put an electronic cap on the bottle that measures exactly one shot), located in the middle of nowhere, and the drinks aren’t even cheap. What would make anyone want to come here more than once?
