I would recommend this spot to anyone needing an eclectic place to sit for a few hours with a friend, read a favorite book, or get some work on their computer done. I absolutely loved this adorable spot! They have the coziest little fireplace with a couch and arm chairs set up. A friend and I spent a few hours today just hanging out with our computers getting some work done, and it was the perfect atmosphere to be around some people and still focus. I ordered a café au lait, which was perfect, and my friend ordered the toasted mozzarella, tomato, basil sandwich. She let me have a few bites, and it was tasty! The fresh mozzarella was delicious. Service was also great, there was a decent number of guests but the girls behind the counter were friendly and able to make our orders quickly for us. Loved it!

This little gem is located in an office building across from the Hotel Captain Cook on 4th and K St. in the west end of downtown and just a stone’s throw from the popular Snow City Café. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and it has the feel of an art gallery with so many paintings and art displays surrounding the walls. The seating area is wide and spacious with a beautiful living room style area for reading, relaxing, and studying. They have fast free Wi-Fi here and a great view of 4th Ave. from one of the tables. The menu here is varied and creative. I decided to try some of the eclectic items that they had as coffee drink specials. I ordered the Exxon Valdez latte :-)(Great name for a latte with Irish Cream) and a Green Tea muffin which is literally green in color with white chocolate chips.(Oh man, this was so good!) It was a great snack that fueled me up to get a lot of school assignments done for the day. This place is also popular for their ice cream(which I will definitely try once the weather goes above freezing). What a great location right next to the coast and just a couple of blocks down the road from the Delaney Park Strip and Elderberry Park. I would definitely come back during the summer months when I’m taking a walk in the Park Strip on a sunny day.

The other reviews weren’t kidding when they said the helpings of ice cream were huge! I had the peanut-butter and chocolate, which was creamy and delicious. I also had a coffee, which was pulled beautifully and I would come back again for that. Overall I was really happy with the service and experience.

I got the Groupon and it was the best. Two large, delicious sandwiches, drinks and enough ice cream to feed a family. The service is great and they are so friendly and nice. Generous portions, incredible sauces, all around deliciousness. As a pescatarian, their sandwiches are right in the ballpark. This is a great place to just sit and talk, or have a cup of coffee. First time here, not the last!

I told my coworker it was her round to pay for lunch and she promptly got on groupon and found Moose A’la Mode. I can see the place from my office window but never thought to go there for lunch. I regret that now, yet happy to have tried this place out. The $ 16 dollar groupon allowed for a sandwich or hefty salad, a bottled beverage, and a scoop of ice cream for 2 people each. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I opted for a chef salad with their homemade balsamic dressing and my coworker has a turkey pesto panini. The salad was simply prepared, fresh and filling. On to my companions panini: the bread was super crunchy, the pesto on point, and the turkey amply supplied. I will definitely focus more on the sandwiches the next go around. The dining space is very café-like, but they have these old school looking oil & acrylic paintings on the wall and cozy seating, so it made me not want to rush back to the office. The ice cream scoop could have fed me over the course of 3 days, it was HUGE! and AWESOME! It felt naughty to be eating ice cream during lunch, I loved it! I was extra naughty this day and got a chocolate chip cookie to go as well. It was slightly undercooked(which I totally don’t mind, the chewier, the better), busting with chocolate chips and surprisingly sprinkled through with shredded coconut. It was outstanding.

Love this place. They serve a nice local roast– K-bay. I go here when ever I have business downtown, which is not often enough. Nice quiet atmosphere, hip yet sophisticated. Go here to get a taste of the moose!

They have decent coffee, nothing spectacular. But they are one of the few places with out side seating, but also have really nice inside seating. Kind of like a big living room. I haven’t had the food yet, but will update if and when I do

Friendly, cheerful and efficient staff that always seem happy to help you. They are friendly and chatty, but, not so much as to make you wait while having a conversation with the customer before you.(they need to teach that to the cashiers at Carrs…) Store is always clean and the owner is takes obvious steps to keep it that way and make it a warm inviting environment. And they have moose sausage breakfast sandwiches! Ono you know

Stopped by here for a coffee and was delighted to see the healthy choices they had. Coffee was good, the establishment was comfortable, and the staff were all smiles. If you find yourself downtown, stop by and grab a coffee. It’s worth it.

Nice corner coffee shop with a couple of tables outside for those sunny mornings and plenty of tables and a couch inside if you want to linger and peruse the paper while you sip your coffee. The staff is always friendly and cheerful and will ensure that your drink is made how you want it. They also make fresh sandwiches and wraps to order for lunch. Call ahead if you are in a hurry.
