The Midnight Sun Cakery

Ordered a retirement cake shaped like a scrub top and it was beautiful and dang delicious cake! Thank you so much Midnight Sun!

Anita and Holly were fantastic to work with. Clear communication the whole way through. I sent an inspiration picture and what I got was even better. I highly recommend The Midnight Sun Cakery. I live out of state and was able to coordinate a surprise baby shower cake and payment easily. Thanks for a beautiful and tasty cake! I’d recommend them to any friend.

Anita at Midnight Sun was incredible. Not only was the cake super delicious, but it looked exquisite. All my guests were raving about it and some said it was the best wedding cake they ever had. When we did the cake tasting, all of Anita’s flavors were incredible but we eventually chose the white cake with chocolate ganache swirl.
I also really appreciated how accommodating Anita was and so great to work with. She didn’t try to talk us into a more expensive cake but bent over backwards to keep it within the budget. She was great communicating by text and always got back to me quickly. She delivered the cake and arranged the flowers on top beautifully. She even decorated the sheet cake! We were so pleased we chose Midnight Sun for our wedding and I would highly recommend to anyone having a wedding in Alaska.

Loved the cake and it tasted amazing too! My order was completed on time and Anita was very friendly and accommodating! I was able to give her a picture of what I wanted and it turned out better than I could have hope for!

We chose Anita from Midnight Sun Cakery to make our wedding cake. At our initial meeting, we both were very impressed with Anita’s professionalism and all that she had to offer. She came prepared with many different cake and frosting flavors and when we told her approximately what we wanted the cake to look like, she made a sketch for us right there. It was difficult to choose just a couple cake flavors because they all were so delicious! Furthermore, I really felt like she understood exactly what we wanted and I had no concerns that the cake would be fantastic. On the day of the wedding, I knew I didn’t have to worry about the delivery and set-​up of the cake. Anita had the cake all set up and had left before I even realized she had been there. The cake was absolutely beautiful. She designed it as we had discussed and it was just how I had pictured it in my mind. After the cake was served, there was not a single piece left. The guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. I would highly recommend Midnight Sun Cakery.

I received a beautiful two-​tiered birthday cake as a surprise from a friend. I have never been a fan of fondant, and was glad at first glance that it wasn’t covered in it. After tasting it, I wish the whole thing was covered in it. It was delicious and looked too pretty to eat. The cake was almond cream cheese and was to die for. I froze the top tier and nibbled on it the rest over the next few weeks. Excited to use her for my son’s first birthday. Highly recommend and I consider myself a big cake snob.
