Culver’s Butter Burgers and Frozen Custard of Anderson

Slow slow SLOW. So slow for 9pm on a Friday.
But still the same terrific fast food I have come to expect from the Culvers chain.

Ordered two small sundaes at 7:10 at 7:35 asked about them and they seemed to have forgotten. Finally brought at 7:40. Wow probably won’t return to this location.

Located at the I-​69 EXIT 226, a GREAT «convenience center,» CULVER’S was & is in the center. We’ve stopped here for years, and see the same dedicated servers & managers. It’s not ordinary fast food, it better. This trip, we ate next door @ Montana Mike’s, then topped off our meal with a «Strawberry Concrete Mixer.» We double the strawberries & LOVE it. We really like the BREADED TENDERLOIN, CHILI & frozen custards. Adjacent to the Hampton Inn & Holiday Inn Express, HOTELS, & Meijer and Menards mega stores, making it a great stop for meals !!!

Culvers is a good change of pace. Their burgers are very tasty, and good quality for the price. Their frozen custard is absolutely delicious. They offer several custard flavors and have many special concoctions for whatever kind of mood you’re in.

⁹⁄₄ Tried their Fried Chicken dinner – not bad! Came with 2 sides. I got mashed potatoes (mediocre) and green beans (good).

* To be called frozen custard, a product must contain a minimum of 10 percent butterfat content. Culver’s vanilla formula contains 13 percent butterfat, and the chocolate contains 10 percent butterfat.
* Ice cream is frozen to -10 °F when it is packaged and may sit in a freezer for months. Culver’s frozen custard is served fresh throughout the day at 18 — 21 °F, so it doesn’t form ice crystals.
* Frozen custard has less air than ice cream (20−30% compared to 100−120%) so less air equals a delicious density.
