Great Salon in short: Anani Salon is beautiful! Smells amazing walking in and has great management. I HIGHLY recommend Stella for hair. She’s been there for a long time, is a master stylist, and has hair styling experience for 7+ years(I believe it may be longer… I’m trying to remember from my last chat w/her). My review comes after two months from my appointments. I had to think about how I am going to review Anani and so I needed to give my brain some time to think and my hair to get used to my big chop. My first visit was the big chop off. I showed this 1st stylist what I wanted and gave her specific details on what I DIDNOT want. An unplanned 18″ was cut off to donate and the end style didn’t go as talked about and I was devastated. My H was disappointed and talked to the manager. The manager, Jen, handled the situation in a gracious manner and I am fully satisfied. Her communication was timely, genuine, and professional. My second visit was scheduled immediately and I was able to be squeezed in their busy schedule for correction. I met Stella and she corrected my cut. She empathized with me and taught me how I can deal with my hair. Showed me products and hair tool tips. She was thorough and took her time with me. She was correcting my hair without being paid. I’ve worked commission before so I have background in dealing with customer service and making my own paycheck. She did an amazing job and I valued her time so I paid her. That’s how good she was. Overall, Anani stays busy! So scheduling a hair appointment is tricky. They get booked solid most weeks and so you have to wait awhile before you can get in. Especially a weekend. It’s a good and bad thing I guess. Walking in there was always a couple ppl waiting for their appointments. I’ve talked to the receptionist and she says week day mornings are less busy but it can get crazy depending on the season. She also said massage appointments are quicker to get in as well. The salon is easy to find. Parking is a little packed due to other businesses around. Allot for 10 min to find parking in the evening or weekend. I used a coupon and unfortunately it’s a «use it or lose it» deal at Anani. I had two but only used one. If I used two I would have only used $ 5 on the second card and lost the rest. These coupons cannot be put towards tip: per the salon’s rules. customer service and website says it is at the spa’s discretion if they allow gift certificate amount to be put towards tip.

I have been going here for 8 years now and can’t imagine going elsewhere. I started off seeing a good friend for the majority of the time until she moved out of state, but have since established relationships with other stylists there. All the employees there are friendly and easy to chat with. Don’t forget the spa treatments! Dee is amazing. I have tried a variety of the treatments and always leave there totally relaxed and rejuvenated, not wanting to leave the serene sanctuary they create. Other goodies — I love the smell of the salon and spa. Wish they could bottle and sell that. So relaxing! Also, sipping on red wine while getting my haircut. Had not experienced that in other salons.

The salon is very pretty and the front desk staff did go out of there way to accommodate my friend to join me for a pedicure(which was just days before the appointment) I booked mine a month out. How ever when they told me they had no one available for a second pedicure, they offered to have a new staff member do the pedicure at no charge because she was in training. I thought this was very impressive how the front desk staff went out of there way to accommodate us. How ever when the day of our pedicures came we did get the new girl in training and she was very nice. But they charged us full price. The experience was good I was just disappointed in the lack of communication between the staff. I would try this salon again.
