Terrible service 1:45 minutes during slow off time on a sunday for 5 very over cooked and dried up pcs of meat that they call hamburgers. 3 different times we had to get up from our table to find someone to refill drinks. The waitress brang a float set it down with no spoon no straw and again by the time we could get any service it had all melted even though we sent it back we still were charged. This place is a far cry from being worthy of. Next time back to five guys.

HORRIBLESERVICE… forgot about us twice! It took 53mins to get two burger and for them to forget a milkshake altogether . Burger was just OKAY. I’ve had better burgers for $ 12 bucks a piece. If debating… go somewhere else!

Returned to BD’s a second time, and didn’t have a great experience. The biggest thing was my burger… it was grainy. And I don’t mean that in some higher culinary sense, I mean it actually felt like there were grains of sand on the burger. Kinda gross? The service was really friendly, but only because our original server was overwhelmed with another table. There were a bunch of folks standing around doing I don’t know what. Not great, will go to Red Robin in a pinch next time.

Whoa guys and gals. What about the Mac and Cheese? I’m a big M&C fan and I think Bagger Dave’s is right up there with the best. I never had a problem with the service or time to get our food(except when it is really busy). They’ve always been accommodating about changing the TV channel or checking to see if all was OK. I like the train. Try the Smokin’ Hot Mac and Cheese. Be sure to have a beer handy.

Tried them again. Their service is just absolutely terrible. They just can’t seem to get it right. Will not be back.

The burgers are pretty high quality, and there have been some creative updates to their menu. I just tried the korean bbq burger, and was impressed. However, what the heck is up with those stupid fried wontons? The service at this location is very friendly, but it takes a shockingly long time to get to our food.

My first one star review! Stopped here for some late night sweets. Service was bad. I had the cherry float, which was not good. It had almost no ice cream, so it tasted like watered down pop. My wife had the brownie sundae. She thought is was decent, except for the huge amount of powdered milk powder all over it. For the quality I would say things were worth $ 5-$ 6, unfortunately it cost $ 15. Highly disappointed.

This is the worst resteraunt of all time, 11 people came and 9 meals were horrible. Do yourself a favor and do not come here. Consider yourself warned.

Great burgers. Love to build my own. Good beer selection. Décor has the trains which is fun to watch.

Had a great tasting burger and delicious craft beer. The service was great too. However upon entering the men’s room, the cook was exiting and i noticed that he DIDNOT wash his hands! Gross and totally unprofessional. The sink was even dry. I was very disgusting and made me think if my food was sanitary or not, i guess its too late now.

They recently changed their burgers to a thicker patty, so the burgers are very juicy. Also, you can order it medium rare(i.e. pink), even though it’s not an option. Not the best burger in town, but pretty damn good. The fries are good, and the beer selection is very Michigan and well thought out. I haven’t tried anything other than the burgers/fries, but why would i? I give an extra star for nice wait staff and that toy train that circles around. It’s keeps my 3 year-old occupied, meaning this is a great place to take kids.

The selection of predefined burgers on the menu is extensive, but you can grab a sheet on the table and check off what you want to build your own custom masterpiece. The chipotle sauce adds quite a kick. The fries are not crispy, but they are delicious. The service has always been good for us. The desserts are tasty. They even have malts if you like them. Their gluten free menu is nice too. They’ll make any burger bun-free and present it nicely in a bowl.

I’ve been coming to Baggy Daves’s for about 5 years now. I am shocked by their low Unilocal rating. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to review this burger staple. Outstanding burgers here! The meat is cooked to perfection and I appreciate loads of free toppings like grilled mushrooms, onions, peppers, jalapeños. It really beefs up your burger. I usually get a single plus all that free veg which is plenty filling for me. I think the fries as a separate cost is a huge PLUS. This way you can share fries if you want OR omit it if you’re not that hungry. Yes it’s an add on cost but it’s actually a good deal because you only buy what you need. The burgers itself are very reasonably priced like $ 5 – 7. Plus they have TURKEY burgers and VEGGIE burgers– LOVE this when I’m trying to behave ;) Furthermore, the sweet potato chips and fries are delicious. Cut daily and fried fresh. OK, so what you get unlimited fries @ Red Robin. they taste like garbage so what’s the point, you know? I love the atmosphere too– nice friendly staff and love the choo-choo train theme. Trains are not just for kids, you know?! The servers are really nice. In fact, one time my power went out on the west side and the waitress offered us to-go sodas/water/ice for the ride home. That was very sweet and I appreciated it. Free tootsie rolls and a free burger on your bday and anniversary(coupon via email sign up). Great Happy Hour & Great selection of local Michigan beers! Lastly, I will say that I do NOT enjoy chain restaurants like Chilli’s so I was surprised to learn that this was a chain. But Bagger Dave’s really tries to make you feel at home and they’ve done a good job with the local theme. Give this place a try– I’m glad I did!

Whenever I go to Bagger Dave’s I walk out thinking«Yep, there’s no doubt about it… best burgers on earth!» A few months will go by, and I’ll have burgers at other places, thinking they’re just as good. Then I end up back at Bagger Daves and I realize I was wrong. Other places are not even close. Custom burgers, custom loaded fries, and an excellent local craft beer selection. What more can you ask for? A train running around the restaurant? Yep, they have that too.

This bagger Dave’s is a great location, right down the street. The sweetest waitress there is Erin W. She always greets me with the biggest smile :-) I ordered the blues burger & sweet potatoe chips, yum yum.

The burger was okay, but the service was very slow. I called in an order to pickup, and they didn’t start making it until I actually arrived. The person who placed a to-go order right in front of me in line received her order first, despite the fact that I called in my order about twenty minutes earlier. There are better burgers to be had and definitely not worth waiting around for.

Although my burger ended up being decent, it was a trial to get to that point. I ordered three different beers only to hear that they were out of all of them. Eric ordered a beer and definitely didn’t get the correct one. If a restaurant is going to do a create your own burger and really push it, they need to make a concerted effort to get your custom order right. My burger came with 2 of the about 8 toppings I asked for and one of those was wrong. The server came back for it and they slopped a few pickles and some sautéed mushrooms and it still wasn’t right but I ate it anyways. The one thing that was really good was the sriracha chicken on a pretzel bun but overall what a let down from the previous great experience we had before.

The first thing I want to make clear: one reviewer mentioned their menu has burgers and fries come as an automatic side. This is not the case(must have changed policy). A side of fries or chips is actually a whopping $ 3. The good news is that, at least with the fries, you should be able to split one order with a friend or date as you get pretty full on the burger. The fries are quite tasty, reminiscent of Five Guys. The burgers are also very good. I was shocked when a chain burger place actually served a burger cooked Medium instead of charred. The make your own burger menu is nice, expect to pay $ 8 – 10 per. With fries and a non-alcoholic drink, it is a pretty expensive burger joint at $ 15/person. When I go to Morton’s The Steakhouse and get a burger for lunch, it’s roughly the same price for a bigger burger and assuredly far better beef(unless Bagger Dave’s has a meat grinder in the back I don’t know about). Side note: I think the Bagger Daves brand-everything is a little strange. At first I thought it might be better quality, but after experiencing all the menu items they’re clearly just trying to cut costs from using Coke brand drinks or Heinz brand ketchup. It’s all still high-fructose corn syrup and tastes almost identical to national brands(I guess the latter part is a good thing). I also think it’s odd they charge $ 0.50 for sauces. I mean that is pretty darn stingy. How much could one tiny sauce cup possibly cost? Two cents? I realize that’s a tangent but nickel and diming just bothers me :) All in all its a good burger, which is the critical point. We’ll be back in a pinch, though far from regulars as this isn’t the best bang for your buck out there.

Love the concept of this place. It reminds me of The Counter for those SoCal and Bay Area folks — where you can eat your own custom made burger or choose from some specialty burgers. For efficiency they’ve started collecting your orders at the table with a palm pilot type device. This way it shoots your order to the kitchen right from the table so they don’t have to memorize all these crazy custom orders, walk to the computer, and have something lost or messed up. I was excited to try the burger since I did customize mine. I basically built a royal red robin burger. Food was delivered lukewarm. Fried egg was cold. Bacon was overcooked. Which was all disappointing. You’d think those palm pilots would also inform the employee when the food was ready to be picked up :( Judging from other reviews and from reviews at other locations I left feeling like the place has potential. It’s an okay deal for $ 12. May or May not be back.

I went to this burger joint with Unilocal and thought it wasn’t too bad. My husband and I went recently again and realize it was all downhill from there. One of my biggest pet peeves is that you can’t order your burger to temperature. What that means to me is that the meat isn’t fresh. The waitress said medium well is the best they can do. Um. so they are all cooked the same? Yes. My husband ordered a beer and the waitress brought him a bottle of light beer and walked off. When she returned he mentioned that he didn’t ask for light. I guess they only carry light in that brand so the beer went back. We always feel bad when something goes to waste so I really wish she had asked before assuming light was okay. The burgers did taste good in spite of their well done status. I also ordered a loaded French fry with bleu cheese, bacon, and some other buffalo type items on them. They sounded good on the menu. They were like eating a block of salt. I love fries but just couldn’t eat them. The best part is there was no arguing or fussing about the bad food. It just came off the bill.
