We have gotten delivery here a few times and to be honest, it’s been hit or miss each time. When they are on top of things the food is AMAZING, but when they’re not it’s pretty subpar. Too often I have been very disappointed in my order(i.e. I order extra meat but it is not included, they add WAY too much rice as filler to what I actually paid for, or I pay extra to add queso but they do not include it on my order). I guess my recommendation would be to proceed with low expectations and you may hit them on a good day when their food is great.

I want to go ahead and start this by stating that I never knew this place existed in all my time working midnights in Ann Arbor. I was told about this place recently by a employee I work with, and decided to give them a shot since they talked it up greatly, talking about how it was 20x better than Qdoba(which I like). Wow,… what a joke. This was by far the worse ‘Mexican’ I’ve had in a while. I got a Half & Half Burrito bowl with half chicken and half steak. I wish I had asked for no pico because I can’t stand raw onion, but that’s my fault. The food I got was sub par at best,… the beans tasted canned and not cooked properly(some were crunchy). The meat itself was crap, the steak was 90% fatty and inedible due to this. The chicken was dried out and rather bland as well. The pico was my fault since I don’t like onion and didn’t realize it came with it(since their online ordering has boxes for«no X» despite if the item comes with it or not,… so much confusion there. I also ordered a chips&Queso due to the $ 10 minimum ordering requirement,… I ate my bowl,… because I paid for it,… but honestly was rather put out about how bland the entire thing was, as well as the fact that it was cold/lukewarm. Then when I opened up the Queso, it was the most generic white queso I’ve ever seen(fairly certain it was Tostino’s white queso). So, I can put up with that because I’m still hungry due to not eating 1⁄3 of my burrito bowl. I get to the third chip and I notice a green tint on it. Immediately I’m put off, and look at the rest of the chips seeing the same thing through a good portion of them. So not only did I get cold bland boring«mexican», but I also got what I feel was moldy chips. All that for $ 17(tip included). You’ll forgive me for not coming back here ever again,… The only reason it didn’t get 1 star was because the delivery driver was very nice, called ahead to let me know she was on the way and a time frame for the delivery. When she got here, she thanked me for the tip as well as ordering through them. Very polite and the only reason this place didn’t fail hard.

I have had countless people tell me that THIS is THE place to go to get that late night craving. So, I decided it was time for me to try it out. There is streetside parking that is free which is cool. It is a dive style burrito joint, and is very small. After looking over the menu, my friend and I ordered the fire and ice burrito and the san diego burrito. We were only going around the corner to eat, so we got it to go. First off, we were greeted by the cashier with a «sup» and followed by a «well» when we were waiting to put in our order… it is a college town which is probably acceptable… but just not polite. We got our food FAST. Which was awesome. We are talking maybe five minutes and that is pushing it. We ate the chips and queso we ordered in my truck on the way home. Chips are delicious, had a nice crunch to them but were not burnt. He handed me my burrito and after taking a bite… I was curious to know if they had even heated anything on it. It was actually cold… so we opted to reheat them once we got back. My burrito the fire and ice — was pretty solid. It wasn’t as filling as chipotle/moes/or pancheros… but it was satisfying. My friend said his tasted a little bit different than normal and not in a good way… maybe it didn’t reheat well. He also said they forgot his waffle fries… which is supposed to come in it. All around, wasn’t the best like people made it sound… I actually wouldn’t put it in my top3 as it was fairly expensive as well for the chips and queso. 25 $ for 2 people. But, it is local and it is open until 4… meh

Fire & ice burrito is bomb! I always get steak, but chicken is probably good too. Their red and green hot sauce is better than Chipotle’s; make sure to get extra! I like this joint because it opens up late(4 am) and occasionally has a hook deal for their burritos. Great place for that post-late-night-study-session. I would recommend for late night and would come back again.

So terrible. Every time. The food isn’t even warm half the time. Staff are friendly and service is super fast but the food is rubber and the beans are canned

The Fire and Ice burrito was certainly tasty, but I didn’t love that it was about ambient temperature. I think it’d be better if the rice and meat were hot. I guess this may be there style, though. Anyway, once I got over the temperature surprise, I enjoyed my burrito. Overall I’d say it’s expensive for what you get. I’d definitely rather return to Chipotle for my next burrito.

The chimichangas are amazing. The service is fast and no order has ever been messed up. It’s the best you can ask for in a quick food joint.

This place offers Chipotle-quality burritos when you’re drunk at 3am. If you need more justification than that to go here, you’re probably either on a diet or in bed before Chipotle closes at 10pm anyway.

Fast, good food. Burrito bowls are great and their guac is fresh(you pay extra). It’s what you would expect from a hole in the wall fast food place — it’s good to take to go and eat at home. Not super expensive but also not cheap.

Revising my review. They have a new staff now and I don’t think they’d spit in my food for making special requests because I can’t taste cheese when sour cream comes to town. Decent burritos at a decent price.

Classic divey burrito joint. The vegetarian and grilled chicken burritos are great, and the«Super Bean and Cheese» is a hidden gem! Pro-tips: –Mixed beans –Wheat tortilla –Lettuce –Sour cream –Side of agave vinaigrette for the burrito(very nice) –Skip the«deluxe» mod unless you want guac. At lunch here every day one summer.

In Ann Arbor, there are three main burrito places: Panchero’s, Chipotle, and BTB. If you’re looking for a customizable, organized dining experience, stick with Chipotle. To experience a college town joint, BTB and Panchero’s are the places to be. BTB burritos are basic burritos with rice, pinto beans, and a lukewarm meat. For $ 1 more, you get guac and sour cream. It’s nothing special but it’s a pretty decent deal for the quantity. It’s not quality — but nobody really cares about that around 2AM or later.

Greatest drunk food in the city. Their queso dip is ADDICTIVE. I got a cup of queso, mild salsa, and chips at least twice a week during undergrad. They can whip up a quick quesadilla or burrito as well. It’s definitely not gourmet mexican, but they stay open until 4am and provide a cheesy, satisfying to-go option when you’ve been up late hitting the bar(or the books).

Definitely not the best burrito I have ever had, but it was huge, CHEAP and was made in a few minutes. I wish I was in the area more often to try this drunk. This seems like some killer 3 am regret in the morning food. Guac was above average and reasonably priced as well for the portion.

Amazing burritos that are made very quick. Deluxe chicken with hot sauce is the way to go.

Ordered veggie deluxe burrito and reg ground beef burrito for myself and asked for green hot sauce and then threw in $ 1 tip with cashier looking. Gentlemen at cashier took order it without saying a word and paid. Guy behind me ordered a veggie deluxe as well. Cook made veggie deluxe and cashier immediately gave it to the guy behind me. Then ground beef came up right after and I had to wait another 3 minutes for cook to make the next veggie deluxe. Cashier gave me food without saying a word and I left. Pulled out of my spot and realized cashier never gave me my hot sauce. Went back in asked cashier for it and without saying a word he went grabbed it then stuck his arm out and looked away to hand to me. Got home to eat it to find that my reg grind beef was actually a deluxe. I really don’t like guac or sour cream. Threw it away. My wife did like hers. To the cashier: never again will I tip in your establishment because of you.

You might be tempted to stand pat with a mere burrito after a night out on S University, but get that baby deep fried into a chimichanga, then get extra cheese on the side. This is the way I was taught to do things, and I have come to learn that this is indeed the way things should be done. I mean, you’ve probably already waited for half an hour in a slow moving line, so you might as well wait a few extra minutes and have them slap that burrito into the deep fryer. You won’t be disappointed. Other than that, it’s pretty much your run-of-the-mill tex-mex place. But get the chimi.

The employees at this shop are complete scumbags. Particularly the woman who works at the front taking your order. I came in here one afternoon with a girl and ordered a Burrito Bowl without cheese, because I am allergic to both gluten and dairy. When my order was ready I was called to the front and handed a burrito, instead of a burrito bowl like I ordered. I explained to the woman I placed my order with that I was gluten intolerant, and asked if she could have the burrito emptied out into a bowl. She replied telling me no, that I had ordered a burrito, and so that’s what I got. I asked her why she couldn’t just open the burrito and put the contents of it into a bowl, or have the kitchen(which is directly behind her) redo it because I had an allergy. She told me I could do it myself and shoved an empty plate in my direction. I thought forget it, told her that her customer was disappointing, but I didn’t want to continue arguing about it. I went outside, sat down with my friend, and proceeded to open up the burrito. What do I find inside? Cheese throughout the burrito; long white strings of it. I have my friend taste it and she confirms that yes, it is definitely cheese(which I had asked the woman to withhold from my order). I bring my food back inside and show her the cheese in my burrito. She says, «Well since my customer service is disappointing, I don’t think I should redo your order,» and proceeds to laugh. The guy in the kitchen speaks up and goes«No he’s right, let me fix that for you,» and makes me a new burrito bowl without cheese(or bread). As he’s making my new bowl, the woman turns around and very loudly says to the chef, «Hey, make sure you don’t put any spit in there,» and starts cracking up again. I’m appalled at the fact that this woman, or any employee for that matter, would speak to a customer in such a manner, and that the other employees would stand idly by while a customer is treated with such utter disrespect. This is easily the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, and obviously will not be returning.

I love the veggie burrito. It’s a big portion and satisfies the«I need mexican food» craving you always have late at night. I also recommend asking them for hot sauce on the side. They apparently keep the«real» spicy hot sauce for people who they think can handle it. If you like spicy, this hot sauce is the best.

This little hole in the wall is rather unassuming with a single table for eight the«restaurant» is mostly a kitchen. I went with the beef chimichanga… it was delicious. Just the right proportions of ingredients and served with extra cheese and pico on the side. It was even better with the red sauce, but it was good al natural as well. The people behind the counter were friendly and I’m looking forward to trying another burrito from here!

As the name implies, BTB Burrito, which I still reflexively call Big Ten, sells burritos. They also have all number of other dishes that can be assembled from tortillas, rice, beans, and meats. They’re pretty good. They are shockingly gigantic, even the regular ones. My only gripes with the place are that it is teeny teeny teeny, so eating in is kind of weird, and I wish they’d make it easier to know what their salsas and hot sauces are so I could grab some on the side. BTB is one of those places where I always end up either wanting more hot sauce in the burrito, or dying of my mouth being on fire from the hot sauce already in the burrito. An on-the-side setup would help. When BTB first opened years ago, I ordered nachos to go and discovered they did not melt the cheese on them. I hope that was an anomaly but have never ordered nachos there again to check. I mean, ordering nachos at a burrito joint is a total amateur move anyway, right?
