Races and mean didn’t want to open the door so I can make a return I was four minutes late but he was not done counting out the draw cause I saw him counting still I had to drive forty five minutes to this store the only store in Maryland! With a seven month old baby in the cold! He could of made an exemption! Very upset. I work at a retail store and we care about our customers/members who shop at our store we would of never done that !

They do not stand by their product. Bought some clothing in the HH store instead of a department store. One of the shirts after one wear and washing was extremely snagged. The manager would not refund the money or exchange it due to it being put into the dryer. Although the washing instructions clearly stated it could be. Will find the store with better return policy and product guarantee before buying HH again.

Being an avid skier and learning to ski in Canada, I always known about the Helly Hansen brand. Always been a fan of their products. Here is a store with just their brand. They have some really nice stuff. Having said that, it seems that anything in my size was rather limited. If you need quality sportswear, I think you should check out this place.

I bought 4 new jackets on 10÷06÷12. I tried one of my jackets during hurricane Sandy. The zipper would not work. When I tried to return the jacket they would not refund my money or give me a new jacket. They have a horrible return policy. They sent the coat out to Connecticut to have a new zipper installed. I got the jacket back 3 weeks later and the zipper was never replaced. I just sent the jacket back to get the zipper replaced. If you remove the tags they will not take back anything.

Great place! the parking on the other hand… no so great… but they always have the best sales here… I’m not a skier but I am a runner… and I always hit this place up for my running gear! Much better than NorthFace!

HH makes great waterproof and weatherproof gear, and I have been a fan for years. This store was a surprise find in Annapolis, though not entirely shocking given the sailing roots of the town. Tremendous variety of products and very attentive sales staff.

Great sales! They always have a sales rack in there on last season’s gear and clothing. This is a great place for sailing and ski gear. I came across the Helly Hansen outlet in Oregon and they had some REALLY good deals. I’m glad to see that even their regular stores have good deals as well. I am a huge fan of their long underwear for skiing. I have several pairs of them and wait till they have sales to stock up on some more. Since this store is in sailing town, they will have more gear towards sailing than towards skiers. I have Helly Hansen gear that is still good and it is ove 6 years old! HH has some high quality and durable stuff! FYI their sizes do run small, so be prepared to up a size if you don’t want it to tight. If you come during the December midnight madness, this store is known for having wine and great snacks and sales while you do your Christmas shopping.

How can you not like a place that has their own mascot to greet you… A chocolate lab. This store is immaculate and they really have great gear –jackets, ½ zips, vests, t-shirts, fleece, shoes, boots. Although the merchandise is geared toward boaters and adventure seekers, their stuff would appeal to anyone who is interested in super attractive and beautifully designed sportswear. The styles are great, the quality is evident, and the staff like others mentioned are down to earth and very friendly. Yes, their stuff is pricey but they often have sales. Always head to the back of the store towards the right to see what is on clearance. Picked up a $ 110 jacket for $ 40. A great deal.

Never heard of Helly Hansen before but maybe that’s because I’ve been in Hawaii for several years. Designed in Norway, made in China. Their jackets are awesome quality and have little details that add the extra touch and make it nicer than your joe shmoe jacket. They made the first waterproof jacket ever… so you know they make good stuff. Their winter gear is on sale and their spring boating gear is out. They have the cutest colorful jackets for kids too.

This was simply a great experience! We stayed here for nine days and visited the store several times purchasing boots, coats and even lip balms. The associates were fantastic and recognized us when we came back in treating us as friends. They were willing to help and the prices were very reasonable and the quality is outstanding. I took my daughter in and later she took her husband in as well and then purchased boots and coats as well. Great, simply great! Be sure to visit if you need to stay warm like us, or perhaps you ski or maybe just like a friendly, «hello».

Yuuuumm!!! I’m a huge fan of winter wear, particularly Helly Hansen, and here’s why: North Face used to have noticeably higher quality when it was a single flagship store in Seattle — but, commensurate with its growing popularity and heavy exposure, it focused on mass quantities rather than adhering to the quality that made its name. Sad Irony! Also, Columbia winter coats will become as crinkly and warm as cellophane in extreme cold(found that out as a kid waiting for the bus in 40 below zero in Fairbanks). Helly Hansen markets to water-and-winter-loving people, and seems to keep those minds in need better than the aforementioned brands. In these jackets, you can sail through gale force winds, work on a fishing boat, ski, or roll around in the snow with your dog and still come out warm and toasty. They wash and last well, too. That aside, I love coming into this store and geeking out about Helly Hansen with the staff — they are so friendly and tolerant of my serious, seemingly irrational love of winter gear. Hence, I will return any and every time I am out there!
