Yuck! I came here obviously for a deal, and for cheap household things, I didn’t come here for an attitude. The poor customer service forces me to go elsewhere and pay more, just so I can have a better experience. Try greeting your customers as they walk in the door, try helping a customer look for something instead of saying«I dunno?» When asked if you have something. I will say the one and only nice, helpful employee was Russell. Kudos to him — make him a manager so he can show everyone else how it’s done.

I see why they only have 2& ½ stars, it’s like they only have 2& a half people working in the whole store. I was the 1st of 3 groups of people in the furniture department & when some body finally came after 30 minutes and being called on the loud speaker 3 times she decided to help the non threatening looking white customers who came after me. I asked about the futon mattress again and she said I have four people ahead of me, I said if you were doing your job right u would have notice that I was 1st. She said I was being rude so I said no u being a fat slow bitch is Rude. She still tried to help me so her medicine was stronger than mine. I just left. the only reason I got upset is this was my 3rd time going to that store and not being helped in a timely manner, the other 2 times I left empty handed and planned on spending $ 400 or more.

I love Big Lots but I’m not going to lie, the employees there are just horrible. It’s like they hired the most ghetto ppl in Antioch to work there. They never greet you, forget saying thank you they don’t even smile. Then they get mad when there is no price tag on items but yet it’s them who failed to put the price tag on. That’s my only complain is the customer service buy the prices are amazing. Hopefully the employees get proper training soon.

This store should get negative stars. It is horrible! I went in today for light bulbs. The whole section was a mess. Bulbs weren’t lined up with the corresponding price tags, all the sku’s were wrong. Could find corr ed ct sku’s to match bulbs to figure out price on my own. I went all the way back up to the front registers to get assistance. There were 2 cashiers, casheiring, and one assistant manager not doing anything so naturally I approached her. I explained the situation and asked for help. She said there is a guy in furniture, she’ll call for him to do it. I explained he is very busy, swamped even, with more than a half a dozen people collecting around him and that I why I came to the front. She said«well he is the only one that can help you, the two cashiers can’t leave their registers and I’m about to go on lunch». Really lady?! It’s clearly busy and not enough staff to go around and you’re «bout to go on lunch». How the hell are you an assistant manager?! Store is a mess, customer service sucks: worst big lots yet. I’ve shopped big lots for years in many other cities with great success and reasonable accommodations. This Pittsburg store needs a good house cleaning starting with the staff.

horrible customer service, walked to the register with my items, and Teresa the cashier, didn’t even look at me and said $ 25.35 I was like OMG! at least Hi… but no! and then I asked her can you please call your manager or someone to help me I’m trying to check on the price of a mattress she said, no i can everyone is busy… O. o Ok? how long is he or she gonna take she said i don’t come back some other time. Woooooooow horrible customer service! never ever ever going back to that store again in my life!

This is the worse Big Lot!!! The customer service sucks big time. I waited 30 min for some one to come to the furniture department. I had to walk to the front of the store 2 times to ask for help with furniture. When the person finally showed up, she had a bad attitude. Dammm. The service was so bad, I asked her a question she moaned out an answer. I looked at her and just walked away. Ask for a manager his reply was«yeah I’ll talk to her»

Always messy and dirty. I can barely find a shopping cart to use when I go there. I know there are good deals to be had but sometimes the fact that it’s so messy makes it not worth it. Edit 11÷4÷13: Something told me to go in there just to see how it looks and the store is completely switched around, there are more products and it looks great. I have to up the stars.

Good selection of name brand kitchen gadgets, home deco and furniture. This last time I was there, they had a Lane couch for $ 399! It’s a busy store, and is kinda messy, but if you are looking for deals, it’s the place to look first. The only thing I didn’t like was the cashier who huffed and puffed, about having to open her lane. Her attitude was bad and was complaining loudly to the other cashiers in front of customers. Not the time or place for that.

Im a huge fan bought some very nice couches for a lot less then any furnature store and they are better quality then I expected. They carry everything I was impressed.

I like this store and they have a good selection of items. I have bought clothes, food, and even furniture there. I bought a futon frame there recently, I also purchased the mattress, but it was damaged so they refunded the mattress money, so I can go elsewhere. The only downside is that its a little messy and crowded in there. some isles are hard to get your cart through. Over all it’s a good store.
