Round Table Pizza is a Bay Area legend! I miss their Renaissance themed restaurants that was popular the 80’s along with their styrofoam pizza boxes. The pizza is still good… not much has changed.

After the ordering process taking almost as long as it took to get the pizza($ 20.99 + $ 6.49 doesn’t = $ 47.39 no matter how many times you try to explain it or put me on hold,) imagine the disappointment of opening a box of burned garlic twists(black, hard, inedible) and wait for it… raw pizza. Doughy, bright white crust and partially unmelted cheese. I tried to call in hopes of being able to pick up a more palatable order and once again put on hold — for 16 minutes before hanging up. If I wanted to «take and bake» I would’ve caked Papa Murphy’s. Raw pizza, seriously?

Saturday night I ordered online an xlarge pizza with a 12 piece wings & a 2 liter. Pretty pricey but we figured it was RT& it was our little family splurge. 10 mins later I get a phone call. It’s round table… They’re out of the regular with bone wings.” Ok that’s fine just give boneless«…another 10 mins later they call again… Now they’re out of mushroom… «Ummm OK that’s fine»… 45 mins later pizza arrives… HELLADOUGHY!!! just plopping over … It’s gooey and gross. I call, speak to the manager. He asked what I wanted them to do… I simply want a pizza made right. They said no problem… Sent another one out… of course. dough is the damn same!!! I don’t know about you but for the price you pay for round table you expect it to be good but they’ve really fallen off… & honestly I should’ve just ordered from mountain Mike’s…lesson learned…

I normally order here at this roundtable and never have any issues with anyone or anything. Yesterday I saw a huge difference in the customer service at this location. I was on my way home from a doctors appointment and decided to stop in and pick up pizza instead of ordering it online and having it delivered like I normally do. That was a big mistake. The girl behind the counter was extremely rude. They had changed their pricing on some of their menus and on others the regular pricing was still shown. I asked her about the prices and she said that her manager wasn’t there at the time and that the prices had changed. I then asked if the pricing had changed why weren’t all of the menu’s on the wall different. I also pointed out that the changed pricing was written in with a marker. I ordered a small pepperoni, pineapple, and green onion pizza, and after she was done ringing me up it came to $ 26. I nicely told her that I couldn’t afford that much for a small pizza. Another employee heard our conversation and told her to give me the manager’s discount of 10% off. I reorder a small pepperoni pizza and paid $ 14.00 which was fine with me, but then she then called me cranky. I explained to her that I wasn’t in any way cranky I had just gotten back from my doctors appointment where I found out the best news that I am having a little baby boy. She then tells me she is pregnant too, and that she was 3 months pregnant. I congratulated her, and then after that she said so that’s why you are cranky its because you’re pregnant. I was appalled. I told her that what she was was really mean and that its not good customer service to call someone names. She continued to ring me up and I then began texting my husband on my phone(he was at work). She comes from out of the back room and loudly starts belligerently asking me if I was taking pictures of her with my phone. I was completely upset and caught off guard by her behavior. I then told her no that I was texting my husband and that I am not the kind of customer to do such a thing. She kept going on with her belligerent dialog about how it looked to her as if I was taking pictures of her. All I wanted at that time was my pizza so I could go home. I along with the other customers in the store were completely dumbfounded by her behavior. I then asked to speak to her manager that had walked in during her rant. She walked over to him in his office and said«She wants to talk to you and she has a bad attitude.» The manager came out and I intelligently and pleasantly told him what had happened. He then apologized to me and said that she was out of uniform, then told me that his employee and I shouldn’t speak to one another. At that point I told him that I didn’t know her nor was I speaking to her past ordering my food unless I was spoken too. He then said that because he wasn’t there to see what happened he couldn’t do anything about it. I was shocked. He then turned to her and said, thats why you guys need to put up the new pricing when I tell you, because people only want to pay for what they have been use to paying for. What in the world type of company and establishment is this to treat customers anyway they feel the need to do so. I have spent a lot of money at that particular location as it pertains to deliveries throughout the duration of my pregnancy because roundtable has been a craving for me, but now I feel the need to deny myself what is in my opinion the best pizza chain around due to this disrespectful and callous behavior from the manager and roundtable employee. I am disgusted by the way they have treated me.

So I would have given them a 4.5 if it was possible and the only reason I’m not giving a 5 is that we were delivered the wrong pizza. This branch of Round Table was quick and very courteious when we called to inform them that we were delivered the wrong pizza. When we called we were informed«eat what you have and we will bring you the correct pizza.» We had our correct pizza quickly and was perfect! With the volume a pizza delivery franchise gets we could have easily been dismissed but were treated as valued customers.

This is the WORST Roundtable Pizza I have EVER known of, Firstly I have NEVER had any problems with Roundtable over the many years I have had there food UNTILNOW. I have NEVER heard of a pizza place that you have to request your pizza be WELLDONE because if not it would be half cooked as I have encountered with this location on several occasions. It’s sad that we have to drive way to the Oakley location to get a quality pizza when we live right down the street from this one. THEN when trying to place a phone order being placed on hold for OVER5mins each of the 3 times I had to call. I think this locations management really needs to retrain it’s employees because I thought that trying to keep customers was the goal not making them look for other alternatives.

Placed an order with a woman for delivery at 12:25. when I didn’t hear anything from them at 2:00 I called to find out what the hold up was(spoke to mark). I was told that the number that was given was wrong and that I didn’t give my apt number. Hmmm interesting! I’m sure I know my own phone number! The number they said I gave was nothing close to my phone number. Mark was incredibly rude! I have never been talked to like that as a customer EVER. He blamed it on me, as if he was the one to take my order and could verify THAT I GAVE misinformation. I didn’t argue with him I just canceled the order and hung up. I was so upset that I downloaded Unilocal app to write this review. I then called pizza Hut and was provided excellent customer service!

Not sure what went wrong today, round table is usually our go to pizza place. Pizza came on time, driver was polite, but the pizza is just… Off… The spicy sauce that brings us back time and again was just blah, and it had just a weird flavor. For almost 45 bucks for a medium wambo combo, a personal sized pineapple olive and mushroom, and a 2 liter of soda, I expect MUCHMUCH more. Boo round table.

The missus and I decided to skip the mailer coupon a few weeks ago and ordered a Large Italian Artisan for pickup. We arrived later than expected and… our pie wasn’t done yet. That’s okay, it’ll be hot & fresh. After what felt like twenty minutes later(with lots of pacing), our name was called. We opened the box and all looked marvelous and piping hot. After we made it home, we scarfed down a wonderful portion and left some for breakfast the next day. The pie itself earned four stars — lots of toppings and cheese, and the crust was just crunchy enough. We deducted a star for the wait(there was only two others waiting along with us so it didn’t seem like it was super-busy.) Maybe that’s not a fair assessment — perhaps they were short-staffed at that time — but it honestly felt like no one was concerned about keeping the waiting customers content.

We were gonna go to Skippolini’s but they didn’t open until 4 I think. So, we went here after errands. It’s Round Table. What do you expect. It most certainly isn’t the last honest pizza. You get what you pay for. Probably not going back here. It was a one time thing.

I tried to give this roundtable another chance and if I could give it negative stars I would. I’m just done with this round table and never going here again. I’m literally standing in line and this girl with 6 inch heels and a tight dress walks in and the cashier is so enthralled with her he completely ignored me who was next in line and asked her if he could help her. I guess in order to get service here I have to make sure I do my makeup my hair and put on a club dress first.

Came in on a Tuesday afternoon around 1:45PM and ordered a Wombo Combo to go. Dean, the cashier was a nice young gentleman. I handed him the VIP pass I had for a large 3 topping pizza or a speciality. Dean wasn’t sure how to use the VIP pass so the store manager, Mark came by to assist with the order. He was a bit confused like he wasn’t sure how I got the VIP pass. I explained to him about my last experience with the Buchanan store and he still had a blank expression. He also mentioned he’s been working for Round Table 20 years and never heard of Tiffany(Who was the customer service representative that gave me the VIP pass). And Dean said something about he wants to write bad reviews to get free stuff? I’m not sure what that was about. But that is not my intention when I write reviews for companies. I believe reviews are a great way to let others know about your experience, good or bad. Tips, advice, etc. I’m one Unilocaler that would rather go to a company that has 4 or 5 stars compare to 1 star. Customer service is everything!!! Anyways, this location was pretty clean. It wasn’t busy when we came. I like how there was a bench in front of the register so you can watch while you wait for your food. We had our Wombo Combo to go and it took about 15 minutes! I was surprised that it didn’t take long at all. Opened the box and the pizza was nice and hot, smelt amazing too. I haven’t tried the Wombo Combo before, but I have to say it’s pretty delicious. Not to mention my 4 year old son ate his slices too & he’s a picky eater! P. S. I want to thank Tiffany for being a great customer service provider. You’re amazing. This experience was definitely way better than the last I’ve had.

Came in for a meeting. Hubby and I ordered a pizza, half chicken garlic, and half combo. The combo was great the chicken garlic wasn’t. That use to be my favorite pizza from Round Table. Not anymore. They didn’t even put everything on it. I didn’t see any of the green onions, and the flavor wasn’t right. We will stick the the combo if we come back again. We also ordered a pitcher of beer.

I was disappointed tonight. We placed our order online at 9:00pm, knowing they closed at 10:00pm. The online confirmation stated the ‘XLarge Create Your Own Pizza’ and ‘Wings’ we ordered would be done at 9:32pm. So, we went to FoodMaxx at 9:30pm, to give them extra time and to buy my lunch supplies for the week. Upon arrival, I saw the two boxes on the shelf with my name on them. The BF hurriedly opened the box to peak in but we felt rushed as they were still taking more orders. When we got home and started eating, we noticed the pizza wasn’t fully cooked and had to start up our oven and cook the pizza an extra 30+ minutes –_– .I would’ve just bought frozen pizza and baked it at home had I known this would happen.

First time I went I got the BBQ Chicken pizza. It was great, each sliced was full of toppings. The guy showed me the pizza before I left. It was so good went the next day. Just went today got the same pizza but a large. There were slices that didn’t have chicken on them. I called to speak with the manager Mark. He immediately got on the phone and was defensive and acted as if I was lying about the lack of toppings. Then said I should have asked to see the pizza before I left. Although it’s their policy to show the pizza before I leave. Not returning to this location. If I wanted a BBQ cheese pizza I would have asked for it.

We came for the All-You-Eat unch buffet… Place was not packed which is always a plus. And the pizza buffet stayed stocked with pizza & breadsticks. Saw the workers some the the table ans take away food that had been sitting awhile. They had timers above the glass, I am guessing to ensure the fresh stuff was brought out on time? But I had never seen this done at other locations, which was a nice change. Staff was friendly, and cleaning instead of just standing around.

Walked into the store and immediately noticed the employee at the register wiping her nose repeatedly with her bare hand. Does she work in the kitchen too? Don’t know — don’t wanna’ know! Ordered a Pepperoni 4.0 Pizza with extra sauce. Got a Triple Pepperoni with NO sauce. It’s going back to the store for a refund. This is the third time we’ve been burned by this location and WON’T be coming back! This matter will be referred to corporate.
