The Rib Shack

Horrible! Talk about over priced over smoker mutilated rib meat. I ordered a half rack of ribs and what I got was 3 rib bones with the meat so cooked on it it was just fat and bark. The coleslaw tasted like it had been made with condensed milk and the cabbage was super bitter, and all that was almost 20 dollars. Disappointed beyond belief. Don’t forget where your restaurant is and what town you’re in. You won’t get rich with a rib shack.

Absolutely horrible!
My mom and I decided to go and support a local business in hopes that they had great food. To start the prices were too high, but we decided to give it a try anyhow. My mom ordered a 3 way combo (chicken, ribs, and links). What a disappointment! The chicken were tiny little drumets and wingets that tasted old. The links were the cheap ones you find in a pack at the grocery store with sauce over them. The ribs were ok.
I ordered the link dinner meal, which was a disappointment. Baked beans were edible, the potato salad and green beans were ok. Also I ordered a peach cobbler, I’m not even kidding you when I opened up the container a half inch of oil sat on top on the cobbler. I thought to myself, this couldn’t be oil so I dipped my finger in and yes it was oil! I literally poured a half inch layer of oil off the top. When I tried to eat it, it tasted as if it had been saturated in oil and wasn’t even edible. I threw it in the trash.
The only thing I have good to say about this place is the BBQ sauce was pretty tasty and they had good customer service. I will NEVER go back.

Just awesome! Ribs were tender, links have just the right kick. Beans and potatoe salad were great. Staff was real friendly. This place is a keeper

We’ve been looking for a good BBQ place in the area and I think we found it. The meat was very well seasoned and the sauce went very well with it. I was sweet with a little kick of heat. The potato salad and beans are good too!
We got the fried chicken for our son and he loved it! They even seasoned the fries.

Ribs are ok.
If you are looking for ribs in town and you do not want to BBQ, I would recommend the rib shack.
Three ribs with a decent amount of meat and a side of baked beans that tasted pretty good with a hint of heat.
I really like the BBQ sauce the ribs were in. I’d buy that in a bottle :) I had a home made chicken salad I brought from home to eat with my ribs and threw the left over BBQ sauce over it! YUM!
Customer service was great, the togo order came quick and from what i could tell, the place was clean. Its a lot bigger inside then it looks like from out side.
