VIP Smogs

We’ve come here in the past and decided to come back today. I was really surprised at how sweet Mina is. $ 35.00 out the door was definitely worth it when we were told $ 50.00 by everyone else.

I have used this shop on many occasions for all our vehicles.
Mina is super. friendly and very professional…
Service is always fast and today she had a special so that was awesome!!!
We were in and out in no time.
I highly recommend VIP Smog, it’s quick, and cost effective:-)
Where else will you see a beautiful lady smog your vehicle???

I don’t know how many times I’ve driven to this place just to be told the machine is down.
It’s a cheap price to pay, but I would rather go elsewhere. Especially after hearing the latest scandal that involved the owner of this place. He owns the car lot in the same area.
The girl at the front desk gives terrible customer service. Has unprofessional conversations with the guys working– something about owing her money is what I can recall. And then she proceeded to text the entire time. Even when dealing with the billing.
You get what you pay for. Go somewhere else and patronize a business that isn’t owned by a crook.

So I’ve been here previous years and had no problems. This time some female was at the front desk, and a new smog technician was working. I had to wait while she played on her phone. Visual inspection was «performed» prior to hooking up my vehicle to the machine. Im a little touchy about other people playing with my car so i watched while he played under the hood. take into account this is the place i went to get my last smog so theres no reason for parts to be missing. After my smog was completed he told me the truck failed. In a hurry to try to fix it so I could transfer title that same day. So as I was leaving he told me a plug was «missing» and showed me where it went. Headed over to auto zone and the guy took a look under the hood to see what I was talking about. What a surprise to find the «missing» plug right next to the part. He plugged it right back in and literally told me to call the guy a douche when I went back. So back to this shit hole to deal with the little girl at the front desk. I told her and the smog tech what the issue was and she was like «well, we can’t do labor» yah. Well I’m pretty sure that part can’t just fall off. So thanks a fucking lot. Waited for them to smog it again and it passed. But the little wench charged me a second time for a full smog. I’m looking into reporting them. Is this really how you make your money VIP smogs. That’s pathetic!

Poor customer service! The girl working at the desk is really rude! Her name is MINA! Never will I go there again because of her poor customer service skills. Pleez do not go here!

Been here multiple times, nice customer service, the wait time is really hit or miss. Last time I went there the mechanic said automatically it wouldn’t pass smog unless I drove it for 100 miles I appreciate that he didn’t waste my time or money. Anytime I need a smog this will be the place I go, prices are low.

Back again. The price seems like it went up but $ 35 isnt bad. I was in and out within 15 minutes. I’ll be back next week with my other car

couple of months ago, drove up to ask them how much for a smog … i had my window rolled down and the man working there told me 2 hour wait… and before i could get out a word, some rude lady came out Screaming to move my car… VERY RUDE…
i drove and found a BETTER PLACE around the corner from them at 1810 Verne Roberts circle (between AAA and Costco) and i got my car smogged in 15 minutes for 35 $.
i will NEVER recommend anyone to VIP smogs they should be called GHETTO smogs.

Seriously im done with this place… Every time i go there… their machine is down… How dobthey even stay in business… Dont waste your time goin there because majority of the time there machine will be down… yes the price is unbeatable for other smog shops but its just a waste of time… Go to some place reliable. im done bringing any of my cars here and any friends or family…

First off, I would like to say this place doesn’t even deserve ONE star. So the time came for me to get my smog in order to get my registration. I’ve seen this place a couple times so I decided to give them a try. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. So I go in there at around 5 pm (with 2 hours left to spare, according to their hours of operation) and the guy tells me his technician has left for the day and to come back tomorrow by 3 pm. I say okay and the next day I leave work early just to get there on time. I arrive at 2:25 and there are three guys, sitting there and the same guy as before says «my guy is leaving, come back another time» F**k you man. There are three of you there and you’re going to tell me that only ONE person knows how to perform a smog. DON’T EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE. I was so irritated and needed my smog done asap so I took my car around the corner to Bayside Smog. And I’m glad I did. Dude was even nice enough to point out a couple things that needed attention on my car. It was fast, easy and only $ 40 for smog plus cert. If you want good service, DO NOT COME HERE. Go anywhere else BUT here. Trust me.

They are bunch of sorry losers
Instead telling me that they will not smog my car with the spare tire on they charged me full price and then told me that they refuse to do the work. And of course they held car hostage no pay no car. So dudes — choke on my $ 35 — you will not see me back even if you the last smog station on earth.

Only $ 30.00 for a smog check, can’t beat it. Shop is in downtown Antioch and a lot more friendly and appealing than it looks on the outside. Instead of waiting, took a 1 mile walk to the 7 – 11 on somersville to get some exercise and buy a drink. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, I am definitely recommending this place to all who I know.

Clean, fast, and courteous. The place looks like an upscale office converted to a smog shop, with black marbleized tile and recessed lighting.
I checked first with another shop that was a test and repair station, and that shop quoted me $ 69.99.
VIP Smog is a Test-​Only station, and they can test any DMV smog vehicle. The price can’t be beat. $ 35 out the door.
