I will take good berries any day over Rita’s since Rita’s replaced custard with ice cream with little fanfare. There are always the finally water Italian. Ice flavors to pick from. Be sure to try a Sample first. Great summer happiness overall

My children’s favorite place to go! We’ve been return patrons since 2009. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They always offer samples to help you decided which flavor you want. The environment is always clean. The tables and chairs are always free of sticky product from past customers unlike other«ice cream» type shops.

HORIBBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! NOTWORTHYOURTIME!!! My order was not made correct. Made a special trip back and they refused to remake it or add more ice cream unless we payed more money. This is completely unacceptable especially since we asked for this in the beginning. We have come here plenty of times and have never had such HORRIBLE customer service. WILLNEVERGOBACK. I work in customer service so I know how customer service should be and this is NOT how. What makes it worst is the store was completely EMPTY. EXPLAINS A LOT!

I’ve had Rita’s many years ago when I was in New Jersey and I remember it being very good. However, my wife has had great ice from Ralph’s in Staten Island and judged the Italian ice to be «watered» down here at Rita’s and not as flavorful as she believes it should be. I thought the custard was okay but have a problem paying such high prices. Am I a Costco and McDonald’s ice cream fan? YES. The price to satisfaction ratio at Rita’s is a negative for me. Diary Queen is also on the high scale, but Costco and McDonald’s have set the value bar for others to beat.

We just moved here & were so excited to find a Rita’s nearby! The Gelatis are our favorite & we love that they always change the flavors of Italian Ice, because it helps keep the experience new! I give Mango & Juicy Pear two thumbs up! Their custard is amazing, too, but the mix of both is the perfect treat!

The woman working was very helpful as this was my first experience at Rita’s and offered me several samples to try. I went with the mango italian ice in a small. The small was quite large, next time I would try to get the kid’s small as it was about half the size.

Gelati’s and Italian ice’s are yum! I wish there was a Rita’s closer to my house.

I usually always have a great thing or two to say to friends and family about Ritas as it is always a nice little treat. The Italian Ice is always very flavorful and the custard is on top of the list. However for my birthday I have been eyeballing the Cherry Cherry Bang Bang cake and I was deeply disappointed. There was a hair both along the side of the cake and inside the cake. When I brought this to the attention of the owner of RItas she told me that it was«impossible» to have a hair in the cake since no human hands ever touch the cake. It is made in a factory and as such it just cant have hair in it. After a couple of pictures I was informed that they will refund the money on it. On top of the hair the cake was freezer burned on top and it tasted old. The cakes I was told are produced in Philly and then shipped from there across the country. I will continue to shop at Ritas and will however avoid the cakes and stick with Italian Ice!!! Thank you Ritas for making me happy 95% of the time.

Italian ice. Banana split. Too good. Must return. There’s nothing better on a hot day than having something cold cross your taste buds. An impressively refreshing Italian ice did exactly that. The biggest problem was in choosing which one of the daily flavors sounded best and then having to decide whether to mix it with custard. I stayed with the ice. The banana split had tiny little pieces of strawberries and chocolate that were just flavorful enough to tease the senses but not so much as to ruin the lightness of the banana-flavored ice. Rita’s is tucked away between two other stores in a shopping center. It’s easy to miss, but I won’t again. It’ll be hot for a few months yet, so I have plenty of time to sample some more flavors.
