Overpriced and terrible customer service. Try the ice cream shop up the street, or find another frozen yogurt place. This one is terrible.

Don’t be discouraged by the 80’s décor. Yummy yogurt is different from all the trendy yogurt chains. They don’t charge by the oz. There is one set price for each size yogurt and the portions are huge. My wife and share a small. The flavors are great and change daily. The owners are really nice. I’ve talked to them many times and they always talk to our kids and enjoy the company. We hit this place almost every time we are in Apex. During street fairs and other Apex events they also sell cotton candy. They also try to help out other local business by showcasing their products in their shop. I don’t see why some people complained about the prices they are cheap compared to other yogurt places. $ 3.50 for a small that can feed two adults. That’s pretty inexpensive to me.

Yummy Yogurt’s name suits them. Their yogurt is yummy! I got the flavor cookies and cream yogurt. It was so smooth and refreshing. The portion sizes are huge. Their medium is equivalent to 3 normal sized ice cream cones. The yogurt was so good, it had such perfect creaminess and the texture was just perfect for yogurt. They do have a lot of toppings from candies to fruit and cereals like normal ice cream shops. Prices however are on the high side. Want a sweet treat while walking or shopping in downtown Apex? Yummy Yogurt is the place to go!

Great location and the yogurt is «yummy» enough. but it’s extremely over priced and has a lackluster environment to boot. They don’t even offer their customers restrooms :-/I can’t recall the price breakdown, but I went to Yummy Yogurt with my little sister a while back. For one small kids cup, and I do mean small, and one adult small cup, no toppings — nothing fancy — our total was nearly 9 bucks! Yowsa! I can go to any of the new fro yo places around town and load up on yogurts of my choice and toppings galore for much less than that. The prices at Yummy Yogurt are simply not reasonable, or fair. I won’t be back, and honestly, I’ll be surprised to see them around much longer considering their high prices. Instead I’ll be over at Sweet Spoons in Apex. in the Harris Teeter shopping area. It’s priced fairly and has great customer accommodations, including punch cards for free yogurt and other ways to earn free yogurt trips. They are also open until 10 or 11pm, which is a rarity in Apex :)

Super friendly staff. New flavors keep me coming back. Great location. I’m not even a big fan of frozen yogurt or smoothies, but this place is awesome.

Yummy Yogurt is well-named. I couldn’t find much info on it, but it seems to be a franchise pretty popular on the west coast. In any event, on a hot day, strolling around the shops of downtown Apex, I thought a cool snack would be ideal. Lo and behold, there was YY right on the corner. Perfect. When I first walked inside, it smelled of fresh paint so YY is either new or newly remodeled. It had a few tables similar to what you expect in an old-fashioned maltshop. The walls are painted a bright and cheerful colors. There seemed to be a lot of open space, so perhaps they were still getting settled. In any case, there were quite a few people and kids ahead of me, so whatever they’re doing, it must be working. Like most places of this kind YY has flavors of the day and, if you want, mix-ins. When the time came to make a choice, I couldn’t. So the server was kind enough to provide a tiny little cup filled with about a tablespoon or so of the yogurt for sampling before picking. On that particular day, butterscotch was one of the flavors. I’ve always found that a tough flavor to do well — it either ends up tasteless or flavored like coffee. On that day, it tasted closer to a homemade(not boxed) butterscotch pudding. And even better, it was fat-free and sugar-free. mmmm — tasty. It’s worth another trip.
