So i ordered on the phone and all i can say is rude! I see other ppls reviews so maybe this guy was having a bad day but he was completely rude. i ordered a large pizza with honey wings and when i was driving to get there he called me and said if i dont get there soon he was throwing away my pizza and i live next to barstow so right after i ordered it i started driving so that was rude and when i finally got there and got my pizza which was hard my wings were hot wings not honey bbq so it completely ruiened my whole night so i stopped at little Caesars

This was my first time at this straw hat. It was a little small and dingy inside and there was only one guy running the counter and making the food, but my kids and I wanted pizza, I heard great things about this location and the straw hat that used to be in Barstow was delicious so I decided to give it a try. Pizza was the same authentic straw hat receipe I remember from 3 years ago and it was good. Didn’t have to wait long and my kids liked the pizza. Only giving 3 stars though because the salad bar was very small and didn’t look very appetizing which disappointed my daughters and the soda fountain was flat. Pizza was good and not too expensive. I would suggest the owners take a little more pride in the appearance of their restaurant and their salad bad. This would be a 5 star place if they did so. Overall it was a decent experience. I wouldn’t plan a future food outing here but if I were ever in the area and craved straw hat I would maybe consider getting a pizza from here. I would recommend this pizza place to others, but I WOULDN’T recommend dining in… This is more of an order your pizza to-go restaurant.

This was my first time at straw hat pizza. I really liked their kickass the crust was very different like airy fluffy light crisp. It was so good. We had the supreme type of pizza. It was loaded with toppings and so fresh. The salad bar is small but very fresh. The whole pizza shop is small but they have a few tables. We will definitely be back for more of their pizza in the future!!!

We stopped in here and this place is very filthy and disgusting looking. Was going to try their salad and personal pan pizza special and even at 5.99 I asked for a refund because of this guys attitude who appeared to be the owner. We ordered 3 pizzas and 2 sodas, and a water, I don’t drink much soda and was gonna share with my husband. The guy yelled no sharing, so then we were going to get all water it came to some $ 19.00 and change. My husband says here’s the change. The guy wouldn’t except the change and was very rude so I asked for a refund for all of it. Don’t ever go here.

FOODISAMAZING! Customer service not so much. Online menu does not reflect new prices. Manager or owner would not change to the online price. Second time here, not sure if we will be back. Solely for that reason.

Today, I stopped in for a pizza to go, it was about 6pm on a Friday night and no one was inside the restaurant except for the cashier/cook?owner? But he seems really nice and hardworking, but it was only one man in there I had a bad feeling about ordering anything but wanted to try a new pizza restaurant so I just went ahead and ordered a medium(14inch) meat lovers and a side order of cheese bread twist. it came out to about 25 $ not bad, if its a quality pizza i thought. I left and came back about 10−20mins later to pick it up. Two boxes, and they felt so light. I grabbed them and left not looking at the pizza until I got home. I was staving so I just started on the bread, it was kind of good but I was not given or offered any sauce(it was so dry). I then started on the pizza which looked so small! I didnt measure but I am very certain that it was not near 14inchs. maybe 10 – 12 at most. Anyways, the real complaint here is with the quality of the pizza! It is horrible cheap product, i cant believe I spent 25 $ on it, little ceasers has better quality control then this place. The crest is a pre made dough or frozen, the tomato sauce taste like they opened a can of the something from the .99 $ store, Some of the meat seemed to be of decent quality but there was a taste of green peppers or olives, funny thing is I didnt order any veggies on my pizza. So the only true flavor I tasted was of that of something I didnt order. Most likely they do not store their food proper It is no wonder that about an hour after I had two slices and a bread twist, that I was starring at the toilet bowl –__– I will never try that place again, i am angry at myself for trying it and wasting 25 $ on that BS.

We came here with a large party. We received really great service, and the man working is so nice!

Too much sauce on their pizza and few scattered toppings. They also seem tight with their crushed peppers. Not likely to order from this place again.

This place serves up my favorite pizza in the high desert, using a unique cheese blend and very good zesty sauce. That being said, the pizza is really the only good thing here. Other than the carry-out ambiance that more closely resembles a Little Ceasers, the salad bar disappoints me. Dry ice-berg lettuce and limp vegetables, ranch dressing that must have come from a bottle and sat out so long that even it has had most if it’s moisture evaporate and become 5x as thick and disgusting than it originally must have been. A pizza place with bad ranch dressing is a disservice to the loyal customers that will still look past all these shortfalls and still order a pizza or two just about every week. I noticed they recently added pictures to their Unilocal account, one is the front of a straw hat that isn’t even this location. Another picture is of a perfect salad that looks delicious. Do not be fooled, they haven’t offered romaine lettuce on their salad since they were located in the Hughes shopping center(now an El Super) on CottonWood and Bear Valley Rd probably 20 years ago. It’s a shame. Great Pizza though.

This place needs a serious cleaning. I would recommend a good wipe down of the walls and tables, and mop the darn floor. Seriously… gross. I couldn’t even sit my daughter in a highchair because they were so dirty(and kept right next to the bathrooms… how classy) I will not be returning to this nasty place.

funny that the foursquare check in has 10% off, but Unilocal doesn’t. breadsticks are awesome, they look like something in an adult catalog. massive. $ 66 for 3 pizzas and breadsticks… but good.

I love this place but it is small and the pizza isn’t the best. I like taking my kids here for a fun lunch trip because they can have fun and the place is never busy. They always have good deals and the salad is yummy.

The unique Brick Oven Straw Hat Pizza thin crust pizza experience that I enjoyed in Westwood, near UCLA, in the late 70s & early 80s, is not here. Good people run the place. Chain has lost focus.

I love this place! I was so excited when they opened, I grew up on straw hat in Rancho Cucamonga. Pizzas as good as then. Nice thin crust, the sauce in the crust kind of bakes into the pizza giving it a nice sweet taste. The folks saying re heated little ceasers pizza is better, are crazy.

Great service, clean, and pizza was tasty. Only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is the salad bar is a bit sad and they need to add peppercini’s to their menu.

We read the signs about a lunch sized pizza and drink for $ 2.99 and had to give it a try. Turns out for $ 4.99 you get to add the salad buffet so we did that. You get a tiny(size of a dessert plate) 2 topping pizza and the salad bar had about 5 things to chose from but was fine and kept us occupied while waiting for the pizza(about 15 minutes). The location is nice from the outside but lacking any ambiance inside. The pizza was ok, nothing special and not worth a penny more than we paid. Avoid going here for dinner and spending $ 20 on a pizza, lunch was fine, just not again.

— 5 stars … Worst pizza I have ever eaten ever… ever… WOW bad… rotting school cafeteria pizza that had been sitting in a garbage can for a week gnawed on by rats would be more appetizing.

If I could give this negative stars I would. Worst pizza ever. Reheated Little Caesars would be much better.
