We are regulars and have been a dozen times. The staff is great and the food is wonderful. This location is corporate owned and they test the latest ideas here with an accomplished chef who we have met. Try it out for yourself and take advantage of happy hour until 6 every day or after 9. Say hi to Allison the manager of the restaurant! If you aren’t happy, she’ll make it right!

I like this place. To be honest I just need lunch and go. I had the quesadillas with chicken and soup. It was very good. the atmosphere was ok. It’s like a applebees. great service. They have several TV’s so if you want to catch some bulls or whitesox action away from home.

Dinner with my daughter, the place was dirty, paper, dirt, food bits on the floor. It looked as if it hadn’t been swept for days. There was no soap in the women’s dirty restroom the first time I entered which was within 5 min of entering and once again right before I left. Between those times I watched several servers enter the rest room the sign was there… «Employees must wash hands after using the restroom». It just didn’t mention they needed soap, yuck! Our table wasn’t only sticky I put my hand into a leftover glob of I don’t know what. I watched a bartender leave his post and sit against the wall texting and eating. The wooden border that runs around the wall and is chin level to the booths was extremely dusty. It hadn’t been cleaned ever? The salt and pepper shakers were placed under it so dust fell on top of these items. Our waitress was chirpy and quickly cleaned the table. I ordered the fish and chips with a Guinness, my offspring a chipotle burger and fries with a soda. When the food arrived the lemon on the side of my fish was so old it was slimy, the waitress once again was helpful and brought me two fresh slices. I cut into the over fried fish and found a frozen product that was swimming in grease inside and out. My daughter’s burger was covered in a cheese sauce that made the bun slide off. My Guinness(on tap) arrived when the meal was over half finished, it was poured incorrectly and was ¼th foam. As I drank it the lace around the glass was spotty(dirty glass). The fries were under seasoned over and under deep fried and both plates were luke warm. Desert was a scoop of vanilla Ice cream atop a brownie. The server proudly exclaimed it’s topped with whip cream that«we make here on site.» The brownie itself had been warmed in a microwave; the edges were dried and crisped in places from the microwave. The center of this mediocre tasting chocolate was the consistency of under cooked but slightly warmed mashed potatoes. If they had made the whipped cream, which was hard to find it was days old, runny and flavorless. This is a place I will never return to.

After I wrote the last review, I mentioned that there are so many places in the Valley I still haven’t tried, so I would not go out of my way to come back. Well, as fate would have it, my friends and I ended up at this Bennigan’s for dinner last night when I was back in town. I got the apple pecan salad and WOW! Bennigan’s really knocked it out of the park on this one. The salad is comprised of greens, «spicy pecans»(there’s really nothing spicy about them; they tasted roasted and candied), bleu cheese, craisins, apple slices, and vinaigrette. The only thing that bothered me about it was that I felt the title of the salad was a bit misleading because there were scarcely any apples to be found. On the outer edge of the dish, there were only four thinly sliced apple pieces. Overall, I was thrilled with this salad and I would certainly return for it! However, I do need to mention a couple of things. Our waiter was really friendly, but not overly attentive. I had to ask for our silverware after he brought our food and he only brought four packs of silverware even though there were five of us. He disappeared before we could ask for more. Our waters were also never re-filled. In terms of service, I should also mention that our food took longer than average time to arrive at our table and it wasn’t a busy Saturday night. Everyone who ordered a burger was satisfied, but one friend got the French onion soup, which he deemed to be lukewarm at best. Everyone else tried it and decided that it was also way too salty, oily, and had much too much cheese(and too few onions). This was a little unsettling to me because I was thisclose to ordering that soup instead of my divine salad. I’m guessing the kitchen staff made the soup first even though the burgers take a lot longer than that to be cooked and prepared. I really wanted to come back to Unilocal with an enthusiastic four or five star rating for Bennigan’s on the fantastic salad alone, but the service and my friend’s cool soup are going to keep my review at three stars. Who knows – maybe fate will bring me back and the third time will be the charm!

Great place. My regular hang out. Don’t want to discredit anyone’s opinion but seems like these other reviews just went there once. Explore the excellent menu enjoy the hospitality of a friendly staff. If Amber is working the bar just say Jonny sent you.

Average food at above average prices. Ate at the bar. Bartender was friendly, place was clean and irish trendy. Food just didn’t do it for me. Looks like a place that might be more fun for happy hour and apps…

The food was OK — typical, boring chain restaurant. However, the Friday fish fry was extremely awkward. When you go to an all-you-can-eat fish fry in Wisconsin, you think big portions. Here, they start you have with three tiny little fish sticks(they were literally in the shape of a fish stick). Then when you ask for more, they bring you ONE fish stick and look at you weird if you ask for any more. On top of that, when you get the receipt, you’ll see that they marked down how many fish you had. What’s the point of saying it’s all-you-can-eat if you’re going to frown upon people asking for more, especially when you give a small serving to begin with? I will say that fish itself tasted good(not great), but just not worth the awkwardness. There’s nothing here to convince me to go back — I doubt this place lasts long.

I’ve been to Bennigan’s in Chicago so I thought this one would be the same atmosphere. I was wrong. The place is very open and cold and lacking«Irish personality» or any personality for that matter. Our waitress was wonderful so that made our time there more comfortable. The food was very good(the turkey burger and steak) were very flavorful. The mashed potatoes tasted fine but the brownish color was off putting. Our waitress recommended the deep fried cheescake so we went for it. They were very good and the raspberry dipping was was delicious. We will not however be returning unless we maybe sit outside where there’s some life. Overall, good marks for our waitress and food but décor, ambiance etc. very lacking.

Nice looking clean place, but the food is bland and boring. The food reminds me of a chain restaurant that has spent a lot of time coming up with dishes that does not offend anyone’s taste buds which results in food that impresses no one.

This was my first time at a Bennigan’s and it was pretty good. The food is traditional pub style food and it’s very filling. The atmosphere is upscale and more quiet than similar restaurants. The biggest downside was the wait staff. Our waiter was never around and it took a while to get our food delivered. Overall, it’s a good place to get a decent meal. I’d say it’s comparable to a Chili’s or TGIF

Terrible. Just another example of a chain restaurant taking shortcuts, cutting corners, and just all round sending the appreciation of food down the drain. We started off with the Pub Cheese Dip with Pita Chips. While it tasted satisfactory, the dip looked totally unappealing and dry, like the depleted lake beds that car commercials are shot on. The chips were probably toasted days ago and not even reheated for serving. They were literally cold and the stalest«chips» I have ever tried to sink my teeth into. At one point I decided to give up eating them because my jaw was hurting. We yet again had the chance to blow off the useless garnish of dried parsley à la Gordon Ramsay. It never gets old. The burger we ordered looked great… until I found chunks of ground beef in the cheese layer of my VEGGIE patty. And as the book says to do, our burger was apologized for and comped by the manager who asked us to order a replacement. Rescanning the menus we weren’t at all confident in ordering a $ 9 salad(since nothing else can be made vegetarian friendly) and expecting them to have no chicken and/or bacon in them upon serving. We settled with sides. The(Microwaved) Red Skin Mashed Potatoes were cut with brown skin potatoes and flavored heavily with chicken stock. Hey, I have nothing against brown skin potatoes but please Bennigan’s, your menu lies. The Steamed(I mean, Microwaved) Broccoli was old, browning on the cut ends, overcooked thus rubbery. I ate possibly a ¼ of a meal that dinner and lost my entire appetite from it. Restaurant chains really need a major overhaul. We won’t ever be returning to Bennigan’s.
