Very disappointed after reading the previous reviews, home made corned beef hash and eggs were pedestrian at best, mostly potato, cooked hurriedly, just piled on the plate without thought, radio blasted from the kitchen way too loud,

I always manage to find my sleepy-eyed self here for those Saturday mornings when your coffee just isn’t strong enough(and when you’ve also stayed up all night Friday writing a lab report). I’m originally from Kansas, so coming here always feels like home. Biscuits and gravy is always a winner!

Best breakfast I’ve ever had in my life. Not only that, burgers I’ve had in California. Fresh natural food. Best spot in humboldt.

Amazing food, kinda a weird vibe inside its country but they blast reggae front the kitchen. Doesn’t bother me though. The owner is always out checking to make sure people enjoy the food. I really appreciate that as a customer!

MFCS is north of Humboldt State, but I wanted to try it. It’s a really nice place, big informal tables, very friendly, eclectic breakfast menu. But I wanted biscuits and gravy! I had a half order, and it was pretty giant, actually took the whole dinner plate, because the biscuit was cut in half, and slathered with delicious sausage gravy… just right, not floury, or too salty. The biscuit/gravy ratio was just right. The coffee choices were good too. Nice and hot. Only complaint is that there is no wi fi. The people next to me had a gigantic breakfast burrito… What can I say? It’s a winner.

Kind owners. Attention to detail with food. A variety of fare to make everybody happy… And a simplicity that makes this shop live up to the farm store in its namesake… This place is always a treat. Add to this preserves, dried fruits. And locally produced goodies… This spot is awesome! Their take on Thai peanut noodle is fantastic… With a large order being enough for two or three people. Value! Taste! Coffee!

Freshly made bread for a quick hash brown sausage bacon egg and cheese sandwich a good breakfast makes. Also helps that the staff is happy and inviting along with wonderful pictures of their food! Picture is worth a thousand words and although the meal was probably a thousand calories each one was worth it. Great place!

Oh my ballz, I love the Country store. Get tri-tip on anything and you will be fine. Great coffee. Great staff. Great food. Great place to take a group of friends. Very hearty meal, so be prepared to be stuffed or have left overs. I love you Country Store.

Busy place! You’ll have to order first before you sit. If you’re with a group of friends/family make sure someone gets a table while you order, since they get taken up quick. The food came out quick & was really good. Really nice employees. Clean and welcoming.

This is ONE of my favorite spots on the North Coast! They literally have the best Pancake between here and SF(it’s grandma’s buttermilk recipe). I have ordered so many things on the menu, and everything is always the delicious. Aaron the main chef also comes up with many specials… so keep your eye out for those! If you are looking for some good ‘ol American food(they serve more than that :) here’s the spot. Ask them about where most of their food comes from: their farm. Sweet business, great food and awesome people.

We’ve been there twice… love, love, love! Besides Gill’s it’s my favorite Humboldt breakfast spot(so far) Even when it’s crowded, the employees keep a smile on their face, are super helpful(like today when I spilled syrup all over my table) and are efficient in getting the food out. My husband brought me here on my bday a few weeks back… He ordered the Trainwreck, I had the Biscuits & Gravy and then we split them. OMG! I ate until it hurt. Then I had some donuts. It was that good. The maple bacon is the best of that flavor I’ve ever had and the strawberry had real strawberry flavor in the icing. Today we brought the kids and most of us had the mini-man(WOW!) and we all had donuts. The citrus one was perfect and I even liked my husbands raspberry filled which I don’t normally like. Free refills on yummy local coffee and a chill atmosphere with tables large enough to fit our family of 5. My 9 year old is a pancake loving guy and he said they were, «bomb!» Haha Portions are huge and flavor is on point.

LOCALSONLY… good spot to get a semi greasy breakfast. i get the minnie man, i can’t handle the hungry man. great burgers, great fries, mexican cokes, fresh juice, local coffee. you’ll find a lot of people in bug trucks«headed to the hill» its right at the 299 and the 101 intersection so you know what that means. ha good quick place to grab breakfast on the go, breakfast sandwich style… they also make doughnuts and carrot cake. anyways, place it good 5star rating, automatic 5⁄5

This is no «farm» or «country» atmosphere in this strip mall joint. The food was ok, portions were large but the kids in the kitchen were smoking a lot of something. Yelling stream of conscience nonsense and obsenities and the banging pans and diswasher were so loud I wanted to get out. Missing ingredients in a burrito you can’t see into right away is always disappointing. The fries were horrible. There must be new owners since all those great reviews were written!

Surprisingly good! I live near here and have driven past it hundreds of times, so I finally decided to check it out. Small menu and a bit pricier than I expected, but the food was amazing! Service was also really fast. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and it was easily the best I’ve had in years — it tasted homemade! I tried a few bites of the Hungry Man sandwich that my boyfriend ordered and I’ll be ordering that next time — TWO types of meat(bacon and sausage) and you can get it with Munster cheese? Yes!

We were actually on our way to Toni’s for our second breakfast there when I decided to pull up Unilocal and see what else was around there. Boy am I glad I did! McIntosh Farms Country Store had pretty good reviews so we decided to check it out. From the minute we walked in the atmosphere was so much better and friendlier. I was hoping that the biscuits and gravy would be as good as Toni’s and it definitely was! We also had the Train Wreck which was super good(eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, hash browns and gravy in a wrap). I had the breakfast wrap and was able to customize it how I wanted it with eggs, onions, tomato, zucchini and salsa and different cheeses. It was so, so good! Overall it was slightly more expensive that Toni’s but SO much better in terms of atmosphere, we didn’t have to wait forever to get our food, and the staff was super friendly, unlike at Toni’s where it seemed like they all woke up on the wrong side of the bed. For our last breakfast here tomorrow my family voted on going back to McIntosh’s instead of Toni’s.

after hearing all the amazing things about this place we finally made the drive one more from eureka for breakfast. ordered the«hungry man» which in picture shows two sandwiches on a amazing looking biscuit covered in melted cheese and a side of country potatoes. it actually came out on a sour dough roll??? that broke right down the middle on my first bite. what happened to the biscuit? my country potatoes were salted for me? cover in salt everywhere. no one else with me had theirs salted. way too much. disappointed overall…

These guys are always on point. It’s the real deal farm to table establishment that you have been searching for. Breakfast or lunch you’ll be satisfied. The owners are a unique family that are always friendly and happy to see you back again. You can talk fishin with the owner. That’s how cool of a rock star in hiding he is. They have started to feel like family after all these years, and I’ll ALWAYS recommend anything they do. Even if it has nothing to do with food. It’s gonna be good.

What a horrible time to be on a wheat free diet! I practically drooled over their display case filled with large chunks of delicious looking carrot cake and homemade doughnuts made from scratch. Especially the ones covered in a thick layer of chocolate with small morsels of bacon speckled on top. They had slips of paper you could fill out with all kinds of wonderful choices to completely customize your breakfast wrap or omelet. There was also a small menu with items like a very large breakfast burrito called a «Train Wreck» which contained everything you could think of including the kitchen sink. My nephew said his was very good. There were also sandwiches on the menu that were made with fresh, homemade English muffins and rolls. Everything sounded so wonderful. Unfortunately, all of that wonderful sounding«stuff» was not on my diet. Then I noticed the«specials» board on the wall and found a Mexican sounding dish made with corn tortillas containing scramble eggs, vegetables, salsa, and your choice of cheese. I chose the Swiss cheese since I am also on a low sodium diet. It was pretty good except they really need to warm the salsa so it does not make the whole concoction seem like it was just taken out of the refrigerator. I will be back for doughnuts and carrot cake once I am able to eat wheat products again. I am completely convinced it will be worth the six hour drive — each way.
