Very good GB Latte! Didn’t ask for name and so none put on cup… had to wait in crowd till I heard beverage called… and hoped it was mine! I do wish they would write your name on the cup! I like that this store is a bit bigger than most… doesn’t feel crowded like others this time of year with all the displays up and filled. You can tell they have been busy today, staff looked beat, floor needs a sweep. Staff was still friendly, and efficient… good experience overall!

As a big Starbucks fan, this place is always quick and efficient. The baristas recognize you and are always friendly. Bathrooms could use a clean up, but this Starbucks gets the job done.

Friendly staff, but dirty restaurant and restrooms. You’d expect more from a Starbucks

Not impressed. My first complaint is the volume level of the music. There are some customers who like to hear their own on headphones; Starbuck’s becomes intrusive. Also, I did not find any common sense on when to have one or two registers open. Sometimes the wait is unnecessary long and there are enough people working the counter. They seem to prefer having a conversation with each other while doing a task than paying attention on the customers in line. Whoever manages this one, should really take note… or go back to school.

No matter what people say about Starbucks, I love it! I live for their fraps. Ask them for a Harry Potter butter beer frap, don’t mind if I do. They can make a cotton candy frap, why thank you. So no matter what people say about Starbucks I like their drinks. I guess you can call me a loyal follower. This location is a bit of a hot mess. Well let me be clear the girl making my frap was sort of a hot mess. She was spilling espresso all over the counters and floors. Losing her banana on the table, then tossing it into someone’s smoothie. Tossing trash through the air. She was rushing my caramel frap and didn’t bother to place my Carmel drizzle. I mean I’m not judging her. Maybe she was just having a bad day! She was a hot mess.(I’ve had those days, so I’m not judging her at all)

Extremely slow — I’m here at 4pm on a Sunday and I’ve been waiting in line 15 minutes. It’s not that busy

This location is always so slow and disorganized in the afternoon. Nearly every time I come here(regularly) someone’s drink is either incorrect or missed altogether! There’s no other location on my way to work, so sadly I just have to deal with it.

That girl Christina is really nasty to the other employees. I can’t tell whether she is like a shift leader or a manager, but she barks at the other girls in a nasty way, and glares at customers. She always looks angry. I had a really an unpleasant experience today. Work on your body language and being more presentable Christina.

I used to come here in the mid to late 90’s. Now I’m back and Lyon Village Center seems frozen in a happy time warp. I think the store has expanded over the years. The line moves quickly and compared to other SBUX it is quite spacious.

Great Starbucks! I drive to this location and avoid the one closest to my apartment because it’s so much better. The staff here is always friendly and accommodating. Facilities are clean and parking is free!

This is a good Starbucks location, located in the shopping center at the intersection of Lee Highway and Spout Run in Arlington. It can get pretty busy in the mornings, and depending on who is working, it can take a bit to get your drink/food. Sometimes I have a perfectly made latte with a breakfast sandwich warmed up quickly, but other times, I am forgotten or given a drink that is not what I ordered. I hate to throw an individual barista under the bus, but every single time(4 times to be precise) I have had a mishap at this location, it has involved a barista named Micah. He consistently makes drinks incorrectly and is not stealthy about his disdain for customers. This Starbucks has a large food case selection and a lot of mugs and gifts as well. There is a good amount of seating, but most of it is located by the line, door or where you wait for your order. Parking is decent.

Usually good and dependable Starbucks product, tempered by toilets in disgusting state.

Easy access off I-66. So if… your’re headed to Regan National to pick someone up and you learn enroute, their flight is delayed, this is a good place to stop before you get into Arlington &DC. There’s also a BGR Burger place next door.

I enjoy this Starbucks location because the baristas are great and parking is so easy.(Too bad there aren’t more drive-thru Starbucks in Northern VA.) It’s always pretty busy here and I’ve never been able to find a seat. However, it’s perfect for getting a beverage before groceries at Giant or the long wait for a prescription at CVS nearby.

Caffeine depravity can lead to some serious mood swings in a line 10-deep during the morning DTs. Yikes. This location is a real starbucker on the brain when time is of the essence. I used to stop by regularly before work, but find myself going to the sister company farther up Lee Highway when I’m under time constraints. One line for coffee and then it’s a gaggle of geese waiting for their coffee concoction around the barista’s workspace. If only we had a place to sit while waiting. Doh! Laptops attached to people take up two seats. Post-rush hour service and seating is by far a better deal. Less of a starbucker on the brain equals more time for personal reflection into that morning cup o’ joe time for some brilliant people watching. Verdict: better experienced when riding the gravy train towards an energy bing-bang train.

I’m here before work Monday-Friday, between 7:45 — 8:15AM, to pick up my coffee… if I’m running late 9AM! The black guy with the dreads making coffee is awesome. He’s pretty much always there and he’s the only one I’ve had make my coffee when I’m there. I’m a Starbucks fanatic and I’ve been to a lot of locations in Virginia, Washington, DC, the U.S. and internationally. He is by far my favorite barista I’ve EVER had. He’s friendly and he always makes my coffee – perfect. He’s also really good at entertaining people while they’re in line. «It’s Friday people!» I also watch him with other customers and he’s on a friendly level with everyone, asking people what they’ve got going on this morning or this upcoming weekend, checking up on things, he remembers people and their lives – it’s very genuine. And he’s got this line that I love, «I made this for you.» which… okay it’s a standard drink, but it’s nice to walk away thinking it was made especially for me! I’ve been to different locations in the past for my regular morning coffee and the customer service he’s giving definitely stands out compared to other locations – he blows other stores away, day, night, Saturday, Sunday, whenever. Awesome customer service!!! Thanks so much! Seriously, it really helps to have someone like him greet you like that before you head out to a super stressful job!!! His greeting and the special coffee he’s made me is a great start to my day. Thank you.

Probably not the best located for busy Arlingtonians, but this location has something that no other SBUX has. It’s got two awesome eateries(BGR Joint and Italian Store) right next door! Since it’s review about starbucks, I won’t mention them again. You will have to drive to this location if you must. But it’s big enough to bring books and just relax for an hour or two. It’s also got enough tables(for Arlington Starbucks scale) so you can work on your laptops too. But be warned, it’s also located next to Giant Food store, so sometimes you’ll see moms bringing their kids and they run around the store like they’re on caffeine. It’s not a pretty sight. If you go to Starbucks hoping to run into a cute girl and start a magical relationship like in movies, you have come to wrong location. Go to ones in Rosslyn and/or Clarendon. Nothing much else to say about this place. Coffee is coffee. The staff are okay. The place is clean enough for you to stay for few hours.

SERVICE: 4⁄5 — always fast and friendly in AM and day. Not always so in evening however. :( DECORUM: 4⁄5 — recently updated seating and tables but cramped due to small, narrow alley-like space AMBIENCE: 4⁄5 — always filled with the most eclectic people who are reading newspapers, homework, or working on their laptops. Still, it’s in NoVA so can’t give it a 5.
