Ruby Tuesday

I bought a steak yesterday around 2 pm for a late lunch and ordered it well done and it came back medium rare and I was unable to chew it. The waitress would not order me a new piece and took my steak back to cook a little more. They did not cook it much more and so I never ate my steak.

So this may not be the best review being as I really only eat here for one thing. The chicken noodle soup. I love it! Tastes homemade with good size veggies and lots of big chunks of chicken.
The waitstaff can be a little slow and neglectful at times but not to the point of making it miserable.
The one time it was bad I spoke to the manager and he refunded me for my soup right there and then. That wasn’t needed but to know they do care enough to take care of their customers (even the ones that aren’t big spenders) is nice.

Your standard quirky named continental chain restaurant. Food is decent, a little over sauced for my taste. Salad bar is a deal with a meal. The soups have been their strong point on our last visit went we couldn’t figure out what to have for dinner.
Not going to knock it completely, service was quick and polite and believe me I indulge in the guilty pleasure of Chilis every once and a while but it’s not in my weekly dietary staple.

My Salmon was way under cooked & the mash potatoes were somewhat nasty. How do mash potatoes get so greasy is beyond me. The salad bar had funky greens & the other fixings were fairly old looking.

ZERO STARS! I will never return to this restaurant. The place wasn’t busy at all and it felt like we were not welcomed! And when my food arrived my husband looked at me with this look on his face like, «Are you going to eat that? «The dish looked like it wasn’t washed and while stirring my food I found a piece of cardboard box! Yes, that’s what I said «Cardboard Box!» The manager did apologize and offered us a 1 free entrée for the next time we visited. NOT!

This establishment is a bit of a joke. The food is way over priced, the salad bar always looks like a tornado ran through it. The back of the restraint was a complete joke, the dish pit sprays right at the line so I wouldn’t be surprised if people’s food is getting splashed with dirty dish water on occasion. All the servers are constantly talking about in appropriate subjects like how drunk they get at work. Walk out back and there is a guaranteed to be a pile of shooters in the grass. The dishwasher will walk through the middle of the restraint carrying trash from outside. (It’s good they pick up the place but come on, use the back door) I would not recommend this place to anyone I know.

Food was okay — I had a turkey burger and fries. My beer glass was dirty so that is the main reason for less stars. I had a better dining experience at the Westminster location.

Alexis was our server today. She was great. Very attentive and patient with my 99 year old Granny. The salad bar totally rocks and is always getting restocked. Highly recommend.

Ruby Tuesday is one of those places that you put on your «I will never eat here again» list every time you go there. And then you forget and go back, and you put it on the list again. Ate there with a friend this eve, greeted by salad bar in the lobby, but they don’t keep it nice looking after they set it up, so it looks uninviting. And the music was too loud so I asked for a different table but the waitress didn’t want to serve us in another section, so I felt like I was in prison. The food is meh. Reheated ribs, deep fried frozen food. A server who announces to use every time she is doing something at our table as she is doing it like «I’m refilling your water now.» Overall, the place is depressing, which may account for the fact that we were the only ones in the restaurant at one point.

My husband and I were craving a good salad bar, so we thought we would try out Ruby Tuesday. We were highly disappointed in the sparce selection, and poor quality of food presented on the small salad bar. We will not be coming back.

Ruby Tuesday is nothing to brag about. Ordered the Baby Back Ribs and got a adult pork rib. They were tender and fall off the bone but they need to sell what they advertise. The men’s restroom smelled like year old piss; they need to change their cleaning company.

I mean, how can you go wrong with classic cheddar broccoli soup and unlimited fresh salad bar? That’s right — you can’t. Sometimes I just need to go to the burbs and enjoy some chain food. The service is always good, the food is consistent, and you know what you are going to get. Hubs got the sirloin with gorgonzola cheese sauce and broccoli. Good flavors all around. Diana waited on us in the bar area and she was super attentive.

I may have been overzealous this year in taking advantage of birthday freebies. I heard RT did a free bday burger and in spite of not remembering ever going to a RT before, we visited this location and it was a sad experience all around even for this free-​burger lovin’ lady. We both ordered burgers on their pretzel buns — a portabella blue cheese for me and bacon blue cheese for my husband. We ordered them medium with pink and they both came very dark and overcooked and the pretzel buns were hard with no flavor whatsoever. I ended up removing as much as I could, which was sad since the pretzel buns start at about $ 2 more than the regular bun options. My burger also came with bacon though I hadn’t asked for it. We both thought the bacon had a funky taste. Our fries came out white and pale and, it appeared, completely unseasoned. Neither of us really touched them, and normally I eat my fries (and his) first! We ordered waters with our drinks and never received them. I ordered a plain vodka martini and was told it would be $ 5 per their cocktail menu but it showed up as $ 6 on the tab (same price as their foofoo sweet martinis with a bunch of extra ingredients). Still cheap, but annoying. On the bright side, my husband loved their salad bar (a steal at $ 2.99), but he loves any salad bar. Service was friendly but slow. My martini glass had a chip in it. Pretty depressing dinner.

RT is one of my favorite chains mostly because I love the salad bar. I have had an affinity for salad bars since they blew up in the late 80’s. I just can’t let them go so I am glad some restaurants still hold onto the idea.
I had the usual, sirloin med rare, mashed cauliflower and salad bar. The steak was closer to medium then med rare but still good.
The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I don’t like this location as much as mine in Westminster but I’d go back if in the area.

I will be honest and state that I really do not like chain restaurants all that much. They are like the Wal-​Mart of restaurants. With that being said, this place is just plain awful. What passes for food here is outrageous. I wouldn’t eat here if the food was given to me!
There are so many other options, why would anyone ever eat here!

I’m going with just above average for chain restaurant. We both had the prime burger (free on your birthday for joining their e-​club). I am a huge burger snob and I have to admit it was really darn good! We both enjoyed ours! Waitress was helpful and attentive. Overall good experience.

I have been to this location many times without issues. However, this last visit was the worst restaurant experience ever. My steak was badly prepared. It was tough and mushy at the same time.
When I reported it, the front manager said they would take care of it. My bill came with each meal getting a portion off. They didn’t use my coupon for ½ off either. I requested the bill reflect the coupon.
The next bill reflected the coupon, but it also gave me the cheapest meal off not my meal.
When I pointed this out in strong language, the manager grabbed my ticket and told me he was doing me a favor. I should be nicer. He then told me to never return.
So, I am paying a bill for a bad meal and the manager is doing me a favor? What a crock!

Went to Ruby Tuesday last night because I had a coupon… food took forever, my husbands was made completely wrong and then when we received the check after the coupon I felt mislead and ripped off!!! Even with the coupon the food is not worth the money!!!

It’s been a while since I have eaten at Ruby Tuesday’s. I tried the petite sirloin with the asiago peppercorn topping. Steak was cooked exactly to order and the topping was very yummy. I opted for the salad bar and that was good. No new surprises.

Makes me oh so sad to write this. We love Ruby Tuesdays. We had been to this location multiple times. All you can eat salad bar, what’s not to love?
Except when you get sick. And I’m not talking oh I don’t feel good, I’m talking just kill me now because I don’t want to go thru this sick…
I had the broccoli salad and the spinach leaves, those were the only two things he did not have. He did not get sick.
I called corporate. The got back to me the next day stating they would check things out at the store. That doesn’t do any good. I assume they throw away a lot of the salad bar at the end of the night (at least I hope they do). That was the culprit. Not something that was sitting in the fridge (he made SURE to tell me their fridges were at the right temps) but on your salad bar…
So sad. The meal I got (shrimp and grits) was AWESOME!
I don’t know. we may be back. we may not. since we have been there probably a half dozen times and only had one bad experience and it was just me. I don’t know.
