I Joined two co workers for dinner and we had an excellent experience! food was awesome(Tyler Dimouro) server was on point making sure we had everything we needed right up to a pad of paper so my colleague could make notes(Aaron Waidner) and management(Robert Hart) was welcoming and checked on us to be sure everything was perfect!

Four stars for the best apply hour in the complex. Wines are a good selection and are all $ 4.25 during happy hour. Go early, before 5:00, if you can as this place gets crowded. A good selections of beer and appetizers are also on special hh pricing. Food is fairly basic. Stick with the drinks. Never had bad service at the bar.

I’ve been to the Bar Louie in Herndon for drinks and live music and had a great time and experience. The service there was excellent and I love the ambience. So I was happy to try out the new(to me) location in Ashburn. It’s very well lit, nice set up with large bar area and great booths and tables. The hostess was super friendly. I was there meeting a meetup group for HH and as I was the first to arrive, put us on the list for a table(and assumed we’d have to wait at least 30minutes). Another member arrived within a couple minutes, so we decided to head to the bar for drinks while we waited. The male bartender who greeted us was super friendly. As it was 6pm on a Friday night of a three-day weekend, the bar and restaurant was quite busy, but the hostess was able to seat us before our drinks were fully poured. So we paid and went to our booth. The HH specials are quite a good value. Drinks under $ 6 and appetizers for ½ price M-F until 7. I decided I wanted something larger than an app, so I ordered the Sesame Tuna Sandwich and fries. As was described: SESAMETUNA: sesame encrusted ahi tuna steak, romaine, tomato, avocado, ginger mayo, brioche bun. I asked for it medium rare and it came out perfect. It was a large piece of fish as well, at least 7 – 8 ounces of high quality tuna steak. As you’ll see from my picture, its presentation was a bit sloppy; the mayo was just plopped on the bun and the other ingredients(lettuce, avocado, tomato) were kind of haphazardly placed. No biggie, but almost $ 15 for a sandwich, you want it to look appetizing. The quantity of fries looked small in comparison, but was adequate as the sandwich is very filling. So why only three stars? Service was okay. We were a group of four and two did come in 30 minutes after we’d started eating and drinking. Having been a server and bartender, I know this can be annoying if people aren’t buying anything or are being rude. Neither was the case and the irony is, it wasn’t our server that was really the problem. It was ANOTHER server, a fairly surly one who kept giving my table the stink eye and commenting about us while putting orders in the computer one foot away. –As if he’d go unnoticed. Maybe he was just having a bad night, but I noticed he and a few other staff looked miserable. It kind of took away from the experience. In fact, it was pouring out and we asked him if we could go out the side door where the patio is(there was no sign stating no) and he grumbled that he’d prefer if we didn’t, but we «might as well.» He acted as if our request was causing him an inconvenience. Will I come back? I’d like to give it another chance and hope it was just an off night.

The service is absolutely horrible. The servers attitude is that he couldn’t careless if we were there or not. Pathetic. They ran the show for awhile when no other restaurants were open in the shopping center, but to stay competitive they really will have to step up their game. Won’t be back again. Too other great restaurants to choose from just a few feet away.

Service was spotty at a time when the place wasn’t all that busy. Can’t vouch for the food myself but my friend had a truly sad burger — I’d have sent it back and forgone the food all together after a performance like that. It looked like a burned little hockey puck. Music was LOUD. Nightclub kinda loud. Our server was sporadic … we actually saw the manager as many times as our server. 4 appearances each. I bet this place is just fine for a happy hour or just drinks at the bar. Would not come here even a little bit hungry.

Came here a few times for«Redskins Late Night» taping with Chris Paul. Not a bad happy hour for food and drinks. Always seems to be under staffed for the TV taping. Maybe during regular days they are not as busy with Redskins Fans.

Sunday night football at Bar Louie was quite but service was on point. Our waitress recommended a couple items on the menu, fish & chips & chicken pot pie soup and they were delicious. We will definitely be back for happy hour!

Decent dirty martini, but the place smelled like body odor, the bathrooms were dirty, and the wait staff seemed bothered that they had to serve me.

Love this place… been to the Herndon one and the customer service is horrible. Love Love Love the loaded tots and the strawberry sangria. The parking at this location sucks most of the time since there isn’t any.

I will have to say, Bar Louie is good for drinks and a decent happy hour, but that’s about it. I really recommend the effin good martini because it is pretty effin good lol. That being said, if you order lettuce wraps thinking you’re going to be on the healthier side of the menu, you will be sadly mistaken. Ordered the lettuce wrap appetizer and had some, at first thought it wasn’t too shabby but I was faced with horror when I looked down and saw a river of grease staring back at me. There should be absolutely no reason to pour that much grease into ANYTHING. If I had a heart problem, I would probably be dead right now. I was starving and my hunger pangs forced me to order a salad and soup that were decent, at best. Unfortunately, they were not good enough to make me ever want to order food from there ever again. After the lettuce wrap nightmare, I will stick to the drinks if I ever to step foot in there again. P. s. The waitress was nice and took the food back but I didn’t really like how she tried to say that it was probably the sauce I was talking about. I will post a picture and you can see for yourself. What would you call that? Sauce, or straight up grease?

I’ve tried again and again to get good service here. It never happens. The service is TERRIBLE! The servers, bartenders, and management are never at their best. I’ve been to other bar Louie’s and their service and food are fine. The OL location does not have good customer service or food. I’m very disappointed every time we go. It’s very unfortunate because the location is great but the staff ruins it every time! Don’t waste your time going there. There’s other restaurants with better food and service!

I have come here twice for happy hour both times I had the same waiter and he is really great. Also, the manager was walking around both times checking on tables so great service. 3 stars because the food is just average. By no means awful, just typical happy hour fare. I have seen reviews complaining about cocktails but my martinis here were good.

Came last night for the«Late night Redskins» specials they do here with Chris Paul. My dad wanted to meet the Skins receiver so we figured it would be a bit busy. Walked in and it was practically dead. If you’ve never gone to a Bar Louie, most of the time it’s seat yourself type of thing, so I’m not sure how the waiters split tables. Anywho, we sat down and didn’t see anyone for about 10 minutes. Then Lauren comes by and greets us finally. Menu is relatively small, 2 pages of food and a couple pages for drinks. My dad and I order the chicken nachos for an appetizer and they come out about 25 minutes later. Really? Chips, beans and most likely cheez-wiz takes 25 minutes? The chicken came out cold, the cheese was almost non-existent and it tasted like fake cheese. Wasn’t bad but definitely not as good. We had also ordered entrees about 5 minutes after ordering nachos and they didn’t come out for another 30 minutes after she picked up our nacho plate. I mean there were like less than 10 tables seated in the whole place with 5 to 6 waiters? I know they couldn’t have been shortstaffed in the back because I can see them when they swung the kitchen door open. I prayed that this burger better be the best damn burger I’ve ever had because the wait time was ridiculous. My burger comes and it’s literally smaller than a McDonald’s cheeseburger. I wouldn’t even call it a burger, maybe an overgrown slider? Asked for medium, got a well done burger. Asked for tots, got fries. I didn’t even bother telling them to remake it or else I would have been there for another 45 minutes. And throughout this whole time, Lauren only came to the table once when the nachos were out to ask if we needed anything. When she finally came around and I asked for ranch dressing, she forgot and came back 10 minutes later. Thank you I’m already half way done with my burger! My dad ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese sandwich and it was terrible. They did not think about the sandwich all the way through and the combination of everything didn’t make sense. The bread was like whole grain or something and it didn’t taste right with the pork. I just didn’t like it at all. I had to flag her down for our check and that took another 10 minutes. I guess something happened to her money or something, she started freaking out and yelling at other waiters and bartenders there. She was running back and forth to the tables and kitchen and she didn’t even come by the table to drop off the check until 15 minutes later… at her own convenience when she finished trying to find her money. By now, I’m heated and I just want to go. I hated this experience, the service was no where to be found. The table next to us had a great waitress which I wish I would of had her or even should have asked her to replace our waitress Lauren. The whole time she was rushing like she didn’t want to even talk to us I mean she only had 3 tables. I didn’t even see her interact with any other tables she was with. When you do come, don’t ask for Lauren, food will probably take an hour to come out and don’t expect your food to taste good. Go somewhere else there are plenty of restaurants in One Loudoun.

I’ve been here twice… Both 2 hour stays… Understaffed? Maybe? Salads took longer to cook then pizzas… Yeah. Cooked… Drinks are small and over priced. Not coming back.

I’ve been to many bar Louie across the country but this one was not up to code. First off, I went the night before a holiday so that may have played a part in my experience. Not one that likes to give bad reviews but came in, sat at the table which was very wet. Server took long time to come back with a rag. Ordered drinks. The long island I ordered tasted completely virgin. On an empty stomach I should have felt something. Next drink(different, was fine after I mentioned the problem). Next came the food. The voodoo chicken was really good but it was the size of an appetizer. My friend said normally comes with a lot more food. The Mac and cheese I couldn’t even finish it was so bad(being really hungry I tried). My companion said the noodles were not cooked completely the food they ordered. Whatever, so I’ll just order more drinks. Two tequila shots but they weren’t chilled. My fault I guess. Ordered a redbull. Can was warm, no ice. Had to go to the bar because my server was too busy chatting all night with people. Poured out some of the ice because it was a big glass and there was a chunk of food in the middle. Game over, I’m out. As much as I would like to keep drinking. The final blow. Get the check(Over $ 100). Put down ¼ of it in cash the rest on a card. Comes back all on the card with the cash gone. Server apologized but honestly I’m not sure that was an innocent mistake. Could have been the night but this would have to be my very last option before I come back to this establishment. The restaurant is self looks nice and is in a nice area. Being open to 2AM is a big plus.

Drinks are great here — I’ve had a handful of different martinis and liked all of them. Their Bloody Mary is my favorite. It’s not your average vodka mixed with plain tomato juice — it’s full of spices and is topped with bacon, pickles, cheese, celery, and olives. As far as the food goes, it’s ok. We ordered flat breads and sliders. Nothing too great but this is a really good place for happy hour with off apps and $ 5 martinis.

Awful experience. I know I look young but really dude, don’t make me feel uncomfortable and not welcomed. Kinda took awhile than normal to get my id back. Even major establishments don’t do that to me. Yes I look like a baby for my age but really dude, really. Okay so 1 star up for the young lovely lady bartenders for trying to be attentive to my bf and I. Our previous bartender, barely was hospitable. He literally just disappeared. So we never knew what happened with our food. The cocktail was okay. I ended up not drinking it and got beer instead. The selection of beers isn’t too bad but limited on craft beer. The food was also average. My sandwich was soggy and slightly cold. My boyfriend mentioned how try his burger was. Condiments helped it taste better. In the end, the meal was free which was nice. I felt bad for the lady bartenders. I wish customers can pick who the tip should really go to, just only to be fair. It’s what I do when I use to work at a restaurant. Ethics. The ambiance was casual. People literally come and go for a drink. I recommend Herndon for a better experience.

Lovely atmosphere. Waiters and waitresses are the bomb… Although we’ve had our share of rough ones… Drinks aren’t strong enough… Otherwise would have been 5 stars!

A few friends and I came here yesterday, a Saturday, afternoon for some drinks and lunch and I have been hearing so much about this place we said, why not?! When we walked in it was a surprise, I wasn’t expecting that place to be so nice! It had a great bar located right in the middle of the restaurant with lots of bar stool seating all around. It’s a seat yourself type of place so we choose a hightop right near the bar. Our server came very quickly and got us started with drinks. They have a huge selection of mixed drinks, mostly their own creations which is cool, and lots of good beers on tap. I choose the Louie sangria and it was delicious!!! I loved it, it was sweet and a red sangria which is my favorite! I got the pretzel sticks to eat and they were great! I’ve had Friday’s version of them and these surpass Friday’s pretzels 100%! They are soft and not too salty and come with 3 different dipping sauces, the nacho cheese was great! I look forward to coming here in the summer, they have huge garage doors that open up to a nice outside patio and it looks like it’ll be a great place to hangout for the evening!

2.5 stars. My girlfriends and I were looking for a nice happy hour spot to have a few drinks and share some laughs on a Friday night. We decided to try out bar louie. We arrived at 6pm and it was beyond packed. All of the tables were filled and people were standing in the doorway waiting for tables as well as around the bar. It was a zoo in there! I couldn’t make my way around anywhere without accidentally bumping into someone. The service at the bar was subpar. I stood there for at least ten minutes and after 3 bartenders had walked past before being asked if I needed anything. I understood that it was busy, but maybe they should hire another person. We finally got a table after awkwardly standing behind the pillar behind the bar(the only open spot to stand or breathe available) after 45 minutes. The few things that we ordered were the martinis and avocado fries. The avocado fries were pricy at $ 8.25 and it was basically a small avocado sliced up and fried in batter with a lime wedge and served with remoulade sauce. The fries were pretty tasty, but not worth it for the price. The martinis however were all very good and surprisingly pretty strong. The happy hour deals are pretty good here if you can manage to get off work early enough to grab a seat. Monday-Friday 4−7pm they offer half off on select appetizers and flatbreads as well as $ 5 for all martinis, $ 4.25 wines and $ 3.25 drafts. Nothing else is worth coming here for besides the happy hour, but even during that time, it’s difficult to get served.
