Awesome spot, ordered a ¼ meal to go and they hooked me up with a free drink while I was waiting. Not that I’d expect that going in, but the food is on point. Chicken was moist and fried plantains were some of the best I’ve had.

Chicken is very moist and flavorful. Doesn’t need sauce but the sauces are good too. The rice is delicious, as are the mixed vegetables. Price is right too. Will be back!

Great Peruvian chicken joint. The family is from Peru. I ordered a whole chicken with 2 sides for $ 17.99! What not to like! Ok seriously. The chicken is seasoned well. Crispy chicken skin with juicy meat. Love it. The salas is simple but plenty and the sweet potatoes fries had my diet out of the window. I might have to drive from down town DC to come back just to pick up those juicy pollo again!

First time ever we ordered from Firebrick, the chicken was delicious and the fries great, loved the yellow sauce(mayo) just disappointed they wouldn’t deliver we only live a few miles away but delivery option would ensure we ordered from them more often

Came in and ordered take out. we were charged for two large sides for them only to give us smalls. Also, the yuca seemed strangely hard & like it had been fried twice :(there are definitely better Peruvian places in the area

I haven’t had peruvian food in a long time and this place is right by my parents house. We wanted to try it out so we got the family meal(1 whole chicken, 3 large sides, and a 2 liter soda). For the sides we ordered 2 yuccas and 1 steak fries. We also got an order of a steak fajita. The chicken was absolutely delicious and juicy. That gets 5 stars. However, the sides and the steak fajita were not that good. The steak fries seemed a bit undone and they were soggy. No salt was added and there was no crisp. The yucca was also flavorless. The sides were definitely underwhelming. The steak fajita wasn’t anything special. It was really greasy and I felt like there were too many bell peppers in it. I love the side sauces that come with the chicken but they do come in tiny little cups and they don’t fill it to the top. I also heard they charge an additional 25 cents to get more which I think is silly. Thank goodness they gave us a lot for our family meal. I would definitely come back for the chicken and try some other sides.

Very tasty Peruvian chicken joint. This place is in old Ashburn which places it a little off the beaten path, but it’s as good as some of some of the more well known chicken places. The menu is extensive and there is something for every one. The staff has always been nice and pleasant and the wait for takeout was quick. Although it’s not a huge dining room, it’s large enough for the number of customers and is clean and orderly. I stop by here from time to time and have not had a bad experience yet.

This is my go-to Peruvian joint and for good reason: consistency. Every time I come here the food just seems to get better and better. It’s fresh, expertly seasoned, well portioned, and just downright delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is casual and always clean. ½ a chicken with two sides runs about $ 8 and will fill you up incredibly fast. Meals come with a few sauces depending on how much you ordered, and are then 25¢ each if you want extra. All in all, if you’re in the Ashburn area and want the best Peruvian possible, look no further than Firebrick. You won’t be disappointed!

This place was good when it first opened, but has totally gone downhill over the past several months. Chicken has been dry– not fresh. I lost interest after my last visit and I used to go their frequently. I won’t be back unfortunately

Look, I come here regularly for a reason. I often want Peruvian style rotisserie chicken for my family when I’m tired or running late for dinner. The food is often consistent and fresh. The plantains are nice and mature. The prices are good too. There aren’t too many Peruvian chicken joints that get it right, but this place does.

The only complaint I have is that the white ¼ chicken was a little dry. Otherwise, everything else was excellent. The dark ¼ chicken was very good and moist and the black beans are excellent! The staff is also very friendly and the restaurant was clean. While I waited for my meals, I sat at one of the tables and just watched a rugby match on tv. Low-key, relaxed atmosphere here.

This is a new local favorite for our family. We’ve been to Firebrick Chicken 3 times now — twice dine-in and once for take-out. It’s a Peruvian rotisserie chicken type of place, but they have burritos, quesadillas, and other stuff. They have fried yucca, plantains, sweet potato fries, and good churros, too. You order at the counter and have a seat. The first time we went there, I had the chicken burrito — it was HUGE and delicious. I was stuffed. The second time, I ordered the chicken bowl and it was fantastic. I’ve been craving another one ever since. Rice and black beans on the bottom, then some lettuce, chicken, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Last night, we went there again. I was really looking forward to getting another chicken bowl, but the specials menu caught my eye and I had to try the Arroz con Mariscos — sort of like Paella with mussels, shrimp, and calamari. It was good. Prices are reasonable. Service is friendly and eager to please. Nice family-run place.

The quality of the food is really high but the service is pretty suspect. The last two times I have eaten here they have screwed up the order — usually missing out a large part of the order. The communication from the front of house to back of house seems to be lacking, with cool staff failing to understand the order given by the manager.

Hands down the best Peruvian Chicken in the area. The price is bit higher than other peruvian restaurants, but the quality of the food is excellent. The chicken is super flavorful and cooked to perfection. The yucas taste great and personally I love the yellow sauce. The place is very clean and the service is good.

I had my share of the Peruvian chicken here, which is pretty good. This time I decided try the weekend special of tallarin saltado. Not sure if it was just not made good or the Peruvian take on a Chinese dish was not worth it. You could get a better version at a Chinese joint called a beef Lo mein for half the price. I guess I will just stick with the usual next time.

I want to love this place but I am a really annoyed. The chicken is delicious but I am extremely annoyed by how stingy they are with their sauces. They charge $ 0.25 for each additional sauce be it green or yellow. I loveeee sauce as a condiment with every meal and to charge extra for sauces is just not ok. When I brought this to their attention they told me it was expensive for them and they can’t just hand it out. After paying $ 12.00 for a meal I expect to have more than one thing of sauce, and they aren’t even filled to the top! I will continue to order from here but I think this is absurd. Not happy!

Good Peruvian chicken place in Ashburn, not my favorite chicken place in the world. But it was good if you are in the area. They have some decent sides.

I drove by this place a couple times, and for the longest time I thought it was a rotisserie chicken place. One day I decided to look on Unilocal and see what everyone got to say about it. It turns out to be a pollo joint. Awesome! Perhaps a competition to Pollo Factory out on Waxpool? So here I am, on a cold Saturday night, probably at a worst time to visit, get a half-chicken with yucca and plantain to go. They keep their chicken warm in a closed temperature monitored meat cabinet, so the temperature was good. The yellow sauce(mayo) was very flavorful, and the green(jalapeño) was quite potent, which is a good thing. As to the chicken itself, while juicy and tender, it was a little light on the injected spice rub. I would prefer if the seasoning were heavier. Also, perhaps it was kept warm, the skin became a little chewy(but well seasoned). If you read up to here, you are in luck. Turns out the best part of the dinner was the side dishes. The yucca was well made, comparable to the best ones out there. But the plantain, oh man, it was a homerun on a triple. It was out of this world. I also had a small sampling of the black bean, and it was very nice as well. So, the bottom line is, even with the chicken that could be better, the side dishes more than made up for it.

Stumbled upon this Peruvian chicken restaurant while visiting my friend Nano here in Ashburn. I ordered ¼ chicken with two sides(pictured) and my friend ordered a steak and cheese(say what!?). Steak and cheese was great, I mean, cheese with everything just gets your taste buds bouncing enough to burn your calorie intake you are about to endure. ANYWAYS. Now to the Pollo(chicken) Wow, I must say that it has to be one of the best, juiciest chicken I’ve had… but honestly, the highlight of my dish were those MIXEDVEGETABLES in whatever red sauce it is… wow, give me a bucket of that and I’m set! I was very skeptical at first when ordering the Yucca because the ones on the serving counter looked pretty cold — but that was not the case — it was only for displayed! As soon as I said yuc. the lady walked to the back and cooked my batch fresh! WOW. CRISPY and HOT(AHHHMAZING!). This place is definitely a gem here in OLDTOWNASHBURN. I will definitely come back and make my two sides, mixed vegetables(in red sauce) ;).
