Prospector Condominiums

These charming condos are located in the heart of Aspen with amazing views of Aspen Mountains. All units have wood burning fire place, their own private terrace with a good size sauna and a large hot tub which fits 4 to 5 people. There is one bed room with queen size bed and a queen size pull up bed plus the sofa bed in the sitting room. Two full bathrooms. There’s a daily cleaning service and the office staff are very friendly and helpful. Most of all the rent is VERY reasonable. We think it’s the best kept secret in Aspen and loooove it.

This patch of condos is nestled right in the heart of Aspen — you are next to all the food, nightlife, and mountains you can ask for.
Our condo had 1 bedroom, 1 pullout couch and 1 murphy bed. It could have slept 6 people, but we had it all to ourselves. MUAHAHAHA.
The back porch had a hot tub, a sauna and a view of Ajax mountain. The view was STUNNING. Laying in the hot tub while staring up the stars above Aspen was the pinnacle of relaxation.
The ONLY snafu we encountered at Prospector was the day we checked out. Checkout was at 10am and it was about 9:15. We got a call from the front desk saying that the next renters (for our room) were here, and they told us in not-​so-​many-​words that we should leave.
Whaaaaaaaaaaat. Lame.
We did get a free shuttle ride to the airport (which we tipped on, of course) and we were able to leave our bags at the front desk while we got breakfast in Aspen.
I’d still come back here. But don’t try and kick your guests out before their time is up. Not cool.
