Oh, Larry! He never fails me. Larry’s Giant Subs is my favorite sub shop in Athens. Forget Subway, Firehouse, and everyone’s fav, Pub Subs. To me, Larry blows all of them out of the water. I shamelessly frequent Larry’s on a bi-weekly basis. Larry’s is quick and delicious. I have scored some pretty sweet deals there as well from apps such as Hooked and Perka. Anyways, if you’re in the mood for a warm, tasty sub stop by Larry’s. He wont let you down.

I’ve stopped by twice and the quality of the sandwiches are pretty consistent — they’re delicious! Love stopping by to get the combo of the day, which consists of a chosen 8 in. sandwich, drinks, and your choice of potato salad or chips.
I especially love that it’s in the same plaza as where my school is located — during breaks I can easily walk over next door and grab a quick bite to eat! I hope this place gets more business.
TIP: If you’re feeling skeptical, occasionally the app ‘Hooked’ has a great deal that can be redeemed here — so if you love coupons as much as I do, that’s worth a look! Honestly, the $ 5.99 combos are pretty hard to beat!

First– the entire restaurant smelled like plastic, which for a brand new restaurant is excusable. However it was so strong that we opted to eat our meals back at the office.
Second (and worst): All of our orders were wrong, but the worst part was that everything we ate tasted like plastic. If you took a bite of meat sans bread (or any of the toppings that were missing) it literally tasted like you were consuming the inside of a new refrigerator. It was so unpleasant that neither of us were able to finish our meals (one turkey sub and one philly cheese“steak” –the beef was truly disgusting – )
⁰⁄₁₀ would not recommend.
