Great food. Great Service. Great People. Their benedicts are the best. Hollandaise is to die for. Highly recommend. Best place around for breakfast.

Very disappointing! Arrived, couldnt get in as the«front door» was locked and multiple employees walked by, saw us and kept walking. Finally went around back and the rude employees at the door couldnt care less if we had questions or wanted to be seated. Waited several minutes and left– we wont be going back.

Worse service ever!!! My son’s french toast was not cooked all the way mushy. Food took forever. My eggs Benedict was awful very thin ham hollandaise sauce was watery. Two waitresses on the side we sat on no reason for the awful service we got. My boyfriend’s omelets was like one egg bacon was burnt. Stay away from here over priced to.

Wow. Maybe the worst breakfast food I have ever had. Fresh fruit was horrible. Really bad. Do not bother. Would be better off grabbing a sleeve of barbecue Pringles and a warm flat beer for breakfast.

This is by far my Wife and my favorite breakfast joint. I almost always go for the western omelette. My Wife likes her eggs poached or sunny side up. The home fries are the bench mark that all others are judged by and they are simple and good. Pancakes are great too. The wait staff including Jillian and Corlee yesterday are awesome. This is a popular breakfast spot so they can be quite busy at times but we have found they are worth the wait.

I really enjoy this nice little breakfast place! Their specials are always great and original. Recently I ordered the Bourbon St Eggs Benedict. It came with 2 dropped eggs on 2 avocado halves on top of cooked spinach and topped with hollandaise sauce and black bean salsa. Everything was cooked perfectly and it was very yummy! The homemade black bean salsa was fantastic. Our service has always been great here and the staff is so friendly. We will definitely be returning for many more great starts to our days!

Okay, as a vegan, I don’t ordinarily go to a restaurant most famous for eggs benedict, but I had met the owner at a party and he indicated that he could prepare the benedict dishes vegan for my wife and me. I was in Haverhill, just 10 minutes away, and so I decided to try it — and it was fabulous. The wait staff was extremely friendly and my wife and I left there thinking that we might make this a Sunday ritual.

How has nobody mentioned the best part of Eggies? The ghosts! The owner used to have it in Plaistow in a spot where there was little room inside in a bright pink building everyone made fun of. The food was average at best and the far better Early Bird Diner was located right next door. He moved to Atkinson and began saying his restaurant was haunted. Yup. It worked for a while too, all the paranormal investigators came through. Luckily, people had a sense to know he was lying from his keester. If they spent as much time trying to make better food as they did telling ghost stories, you might be able to actually get a few customers in.

I like the new location of eggies, it’s cool, different and it works! I normally go with a group of friends .The food is really good for a great price ! The staff always seem happy and eager to please and the service is great with a smile! It’s a great place to start a Sunday morning! I will return many more times!

Finally checked eggies out. Had tried the retro style diner location in Plaistow years before and liked the atmosphere and food better. Very clean, updated look in Atkinson, pancakes w/strawberries had a chocolate filling i wasn’t aware of before, poor choice, overwhelmingly sweet, yucky. Western omelet and side bagel were just ok. Can’t help thinking if a Denny’s or ihop would be better choice for breakfast compared to eggies, especially for pancakes. Wait staff fine, no complaints. Coffee pretty good. I am a moderate, not frequent restaurant goer and unlike some, care alot about ambiance, privacy, noise level. Am i too fussy or unreasonable to expect these aspects in a public restaurant? Wife and i were seated in an odd, small, side room with maybe 3 other tables facing rear parking lot. i was overwhelmed by the 3 chattery ladies seated about 2 feet or so at the next table. The other diner was seated at an odd 45 angle in a corner from me, perhaps 5 feet away, uncomfortable as well. Again, maybe i’m expecting too much, but this layout/ambiance issue is something i experience in many, but not all restaurants. Not that every eatery should accomodate this at every point, but would be nice if more had this quiet place option. Overall would prefer the booths and food at some of the mainstream breakfast establishments to this type and 2 others like it in the Plaistow area.

i gave one star for at least the nice waitress we had, but thats about it coffee-burned and distasteful-tastes like coffee cleaner in there. whatever you are using to clean please rinse it well or change the way you make coffee or get a new machine. food is mediocre. eggs are watery. can see dishroom from where was sitting, please put a door or something to block, customers can see in there, they dont need to see this while eating. somebody call gordon ramsay please.

We go here about once a month for breakfast mostly because it is so close to home. The staff is extremely friendly, the food is ok(we love their banana bread grilled). It feels far ‘cleaner’ at its new location compared to the run down dining car it used to be in. The menu is typical diner food, nothing special, but prices are reasonable.

We’ve only been once, but I don’t think we’ll be back. Service was so-so(it took a long time to get the check, which is a big deal when you’re dining with a toddler). Restaurant was really loud inside, and the prices seemed high for what we had to eat.

I went here on opening weekend. It was not good. Perhaps they were just overwhelmed and working out the kinks(which is the ONLY reason they didn’t get 1 star) but the service stunk and the food was bad. I noticed the usual cook wasn’t there, so maybe that was why. I loved this place in the old location, so perhaps Ill give it another shot and then an update.

This is the«New Eggies Restaurant» which was previously a diner not far in neighboring Plaistow. This new restaurant has no longer a diner feel, as it is housed in a converted raised ranch house in «downtown» Atkinson. The menu ha snot changed much, still a diner menu with traditional breakfasts, lunch has sandwiches, subs, soup, grilled cheese, hotdogs, burgers, and more. The dining area is split into several rooms, which is priviate, yet confusing for new customers. They do have a nice outdoor deck which I look forward to having Sunday brunch on this coming summer. Service and food was good, not outstanding, but we hope to return and try again. A fine place for a Sunday brunch.
