Not sure what the corporate owners are thinking, but the healthier choices and lower calorie items and slowly being removed from the menu. They used to have an under 500 calorie section on the menu — gone! The rainbow trout — gone! You want string beans — gone! You want deserts over 1000 calories — they have plenty. The best thing about this Longhorn — The staff is friendly. They seem legitimately concerned that you have a good meal and a good time. However corporate is targeting a different demographic than the one I belong to, so my Longhorn days are unfortunately over!

Okay, so I’m one of those Paleo weirdos who eats ACTUAL food at meals. I’m fighting my blood sugar after a lifetime of working out and eating super healthy due to health issues I was born with. So I was going on a first date and didn’t want him thinking I’m a whack job by grilling the waitress about the grilling of my steak. So I called ahead. The manager, Chuck, was so helpful and knowledgeable and knew exactly what I could safely eat from their menu and how they could accommodate me. I was impressed and relieved. I gave my date a heads-up on 495(get your mind outta the gutter!) so he wouldn’t wonder why I asked for the manager, as were my instructions. Long story short(from this point lol), I had a RIDICULOUSLY amazing prime rib, medium-rare and a double order of steamed broccoli with some fresh, melted better. He had tilapia and shrimp with a sweet potato and some shrimp and something chowder that looked yummy and he really enjoyed. I’ve been to this Longhorn several times since it opened and I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed. Chuck really knows what he’s doing and seems to genuinely care about his business and clientele. My one complaint… BRINGBACKTHEBEANLESSCHILI!

Probably one of the fattiest Ribeye’s I’ve ever had and for $ 21 you can’t help to feel a little ripped off. Look at their web site their steaks look perfect, however reality is different. A steak(from these chains restaurants) is usually a crap shoot, you hope the cook has enough sense to inspect what he/she is about the throw on the grill. The cooks are interested in production, fill the order and get it out of the kitchen. The side salad was probably the best thing about the meal. The server and the bartenders were exceptional. I rarely come here and now I know why.

Not bad. Been a few years since we’ve been to this location. We chatted with the manager while waiting for our food. Very nice guy. Our server, Mark, was great. I started with the shrimp and lobster chowder. Too much pepper for my taste and lobster was AWOL. Lots of corn and salad shrimp though. For entrée I had the 6oz Harvest Mushroom Filet with side salad(raspberry vinaigrette is quite nice) and steamed broccoli. Loved the bordelaise sauce. Would have appreciated more mushrooms. Asked for the filet to be done between rare and medium rare. It was more medium rare creeping towards medium, but was still very tender. Hubby enjoyed his sirloin and Parmesan chicken and our guest was quite satisfied with his sirloin and ribs combo.

Stopped in for a few appetizers with my cousin, it’s great for munching but I’m not sure how much we actually enjoyed it, we tried the sweet chili calamari, which was not crispy enough and the sauce took away from the seafood taste. The yummiest part was the banana cream pie. Waiter was very nice though.

Visited this Restaurant because I was given a $ 25 Gift card — would have never went other wise because the food is too expensive. We were a party of 4 and orders mostly burgers and one steak, and took well about an hour to serve us. My bacon cheese burger that I was so looking forward to was missing the bacon. Because my waitress was not around, I asked another one for it. She promised to bring it out, when she did not comply, another one promised, and then finally when I received the check I explained the situation and the waitress promised me extra bacon for next time. Not even knocking the burger off my bill. I was so dissapointed. I will probably never go back…

I’m surprised at all the bad reviews… I have eaten here several times and it’s always good. Dependable that way. Husband always gets steak and it’s always good. I usually get fish, ribs, or shrimp. always have been satisfied. their fried shrimp, although no so healthy, are so yummy. Service tonight, 9÷4÷15, was excellent. Waiter was excellent, he checked on us every time he walked by our table, which was often, to make sure we were happy. Oh, kid gets mac n cheese every time, looks like Kraft but that’s what she likes;) Tab for two adults and one kid was $ 50, $ 60 after tip. There was no wait tonight at 5:15, we were seated right away. We’ve always had good luck here so we will def return.

Had a nice lunch today at Longhorn. Our server was really nice and attentive. I ordered the tortilla soup, and she warned me that it was spicy. She added that if I didn’t care for it, she would bring me another kind of soup. It was indeed spicy – and delicious. The lunch specials are a great deal – from $ 6 to $ 8. I’m a sucker for Longhorn’s raspberry iced tea and their raspberry lemonade(and the constant refills). Our entrees came out fine – cheeseburger and chicken avocado wrap. Manager stopped by to check in about ½ way through. No complaints. Table really clean, as was silverware, etc.

I have been to this longhorn many many times. I’ve also been to others in different areas. They are consistent in the service and food. Today I stopped in with my two kids for lunch, their choice. Was sat within 3 min which is good but the place isn’t busy either. Then waited 7 min for someone to acknowledge that we sat. Phone ringing nobody answering, servers walking around aimlessly, and what I assume is a busboy twirling his spray bottle around his finger. Although I’m thinking he is taking it to the old west motif, he should consider where any extra fluid is flying as he does this. As many of you know I’ve grown up in restaurants. This is a no no. Back to lunch bread came no bread plates guess we eat off the table here now. Bread is stale and butter is almost frozen. No good. The order went in: Flo’s Filet medium, side fries Prime Time Burger medium side garlic fries Ribeye med rare with sweet potato Filet came well Burger came well Ribeye came med rare as asked. Now trust me I know a ribeye has a fair amount of marbling. This meat was 5−6oz out of 11FAT not even in the middle of the steak it was right out on the end. Chef ! You never serve that piece! Cut the fat off and use it for family meal for the staff. Well all and all not a great trip this time but I will try again at a later date. Stay tuned !

We returned to the Longhorn after many years since we had a gift card. We had a coupon for a free app so we had the calamari– which was so dressed in sauce that you could not taste the seafood. The bartender was awesome– fast, knowledgeable, and quick wit. Got our drinks fast and had a good pour. We splurged for the porterhouse steak for 2– it was supposed to be 30 oz. It was not. It was cooked well, and had some fat and gristle but otherwise fine. They gave us a small hot pot of special steak sauce which had A1, orange rind, and rosemary. It was super salty, so we preferred not to use it. Not sure if I would return.

my bf and i had our last visit on 2÷13÷15. and by last, i mean our final visit! We have been at least a dozen times and with each visit the service got worse and the food went from mediocre to not good at all. On 2÷13÷15 we were seated promptly and before we even sat or taken off our jackets the waitress came and said ’ what do you want to drink? and what appetizer?“ I replied that i wanted to look a t the drink menu for a min. she came back and we both ordered a texas margarita and a water. she came with drinks(minus the water) and asked if we were ready to order. we got texas tonion appetizer and she wanted to also take our meal order as well. i politely said we needed a few more min with menu. Our appetizer came out cold, not even luke warm. and she took our dinner order. we both got prime rib med rare, w a sala(9dressing on side) and a potato. while we picking at our appetizer our salad came out(a ton of dressing poured on top), and 30 sec later a runner brought out our meal. i t bothers me that i am still working on cold app, havent touched my salas and my meal came. as soon as i looked at my meat, i knew i was going to be disappointed. My prime rib was well done and so dry it that while cutting it it was crumbling like saw dust. def not med rare. Same for my bf. Our drinks remained empty for entire meal. our server never once came back to check on us. 20 min later she walked by and dropped the bill of on our table with out saying a word. I wanted to order dessert bc i didnt eat my meal and wanted another cocktail. so i said” excuse me, can we get dessert please?” She looked and ignored me. i tried one more time to flag her down when she walked by and ignored again. Perhaps it was her cell phone half hanging out of her back pocket lighting up and buzzing that she didn’t notice or care about us. So we decided to call it a night. we put our card w th bill and she came and took it. didnt ask if we wanted a box or why we barely ate our food. I did not want her to get in trouble so i did not ask for the manager. but thatt was our last visit. Server then comes back and asks us if a blue credit card was ours, it was not. she had dropped ours. it was found, we signed for bill and i did not want to leave tip! It was $ 78. before tip for terrible service and lack luster over cooked amd cold food! but being in the service industry for 20 yrs, she got the low standard of 15% tip. next time i will spend the almost 100 hard earned dollars elsewhere.

The food is good whenever we go. The wait is absurd. The waiting area is too small and filled with ignant people who don’t ever get off their cullo grande’s to give up their seats for the elderly and pregnant. I figured it was a Haverhill thing, but then realized that it probably was a humanity thing in general. Not the fault of Longhorn, but a bigger waiting area is needed for a general wait time of an hour or so the last few times I decided to brave the hordes of hungry sheeple. I recommend the sierra chicken or renegade steak with prairie dust. I also like their soups and mac n cheese. I think the prices are higher than comparable steak houses(i.e. roadhouse) but you can usually find a $ 5 off coupon in the coupons of the Sunday papers. I always use a coupon.

The Parmesean crusted asparagus is pretty good Try parmesean crusted rancher sirloin delush. Steakhouse mac-n-cheese us AWESOME. I was impressed by Longhorn the first couple of times going, but my wife’s dinners have continuously been sub par to what I am getting. The dinner the other night, was like her cook checked out and was done for the night. The supposedly roasted garlic on top of her steak was cold(I picked it up it was cold), her steak was more of a Medium than Medium rare.
