DRYANDYUCK… we ordered egg linguini in bolognese sauce with a side of meatballs for take out. The pasta was barely covered with any sauce at all. The meatballs were in a separate container were minuscule and no sauce, they were dry, not tendered. We also ordered their lasagna and it was obvious that it had been reheated all day. The top was a brown hard crust inedible and once again no sauce. Pried the top off and ate it dry. Our experience was awful and we would not recommend this restaurant.

This is a 4 star review simply because I only had delivery. I will update when I dine in the restaurant. However, for delivery, this is pretty darn good Italian! The Zucca ravioli is amazing and the bruschetta is a nice light appetizer. We also ordered the Salmon and Caprino figotini appetizers which were a big hit. My only issue with delivery is that the pasta arrived on the cold side but the take out containers are aluminum so I popped it in the oven briefly to warm it back up. I look forward to dining in the restaurant next time!

I am definitely a fan! It seems like my every other Saturday ritual when I visit Edgewood is Office Depot, hair cut then lunch at Figo. I wouldn’t change a thing… its easily 2 of my favorite days a month! If you are scared of options, Figo is not your place! So, to get started when you walk in, you grab a menu and select the components of your pasta dish by selecting your pasta and then sauce. They have a few pre-designed dishes for those that hate piecing together their meal. But, one of the great aspects of this place is your options! You have so many and can visit numerous times without having anything similar to what you had last time! Also, they usually have pretty amazing seasonal specialties listed on the chalkboard above the counter. I will say, that its hard for me to turn down a good seasonal special and currently their eggplant and mushroom risotto special is simply amazing! Once you place your order, you are given a cool individually painted pepper mill to distinguish your order and then you simply choose where you would like to sit. Once sat, the wait staff will bring over some oil and fresh bread… and offer fresh grated parmesan cheese for your oil. Life lesson here… DOIT! Seems weird, but man is it tasty! Normally there is not a long wait for your food and once you get it, do your thing and dive in! Its always fresh, hot and super tasty! The other great thing about this place is the wait staff. They do not concentrate on just one table, they seem to all help each other out and check on all tables and guests as they pass you. So, a lack of service has been something that I never encountered here. Overall, I am definitely a fan of Figo and will be back… and back… and back again.

Mine and my husbands go to. Solid Caesar salad. Free bread! You can pick your pasta and sauce but their specials are usually delicious! You order at counter and the food comes out very quickly.

First timers you’ll love it! There are so many options but every one seems more delicious than the first. My boyfriend couldn’t decide so I ordered the crab ravioli without him(lol) he tried it and ordered the exact same thing! The staff are so helpful and awesome. The pasta is fresh and you can see everything being made. The vibe is clean and relaxing. I will definitely come back and bring my whole family. Update: there were a few issues with our waiter this time. Our food was given to us wrong which wasn’t a huge issue but I have food allergies so could of been a HUGE deal. Luckily I’ve had this particular entrée so many items I could tell something was wrong pretty early on. Also, the crab and lobster ravioli had some shell in it.

Figo’s pasta never disappoints. The atmosphere is a solid mixture between casual with the airs of fine dining. You have fresh bread and olive oil brought to your table as an appetizer, but the pepper grinders you get to mark your table are all painted and quirky. I also really appreciated that their pasta is super innovative. This is nothing like an Olive Garden. You’ll have some of the classics, but you need to try their own creations. Especially take a chance to build your own pasta. They have a wild boar sauce that is incredible! My only wish is the portions would be bigger so I could have leftovers. I manage to finish all of my pasta every time at the table, and that’s a bit strange for me.

I was in ATL for the weekend with my homie and sister. On the way down, my freakin’ car radio went out. I was pissed, but ended up getting it replaced at Best Buy.(Bye Pioneer. Hello Kenwood.) My other homie wanted to chill while I waited for the repair/install to finish. Once it was done, I was ready to hit the road, and head back to TX. He offered some extra time for us to break bread, thus I ended up at FIGO. This place is a highly customizable pasta joint. You look at the menu, and then mix, match and mashup the pasta, sauce, and meat to your liking. You order and pay at the register, then take the pepper grinder they give you and choose your own seat. I ended up getting egg tagliatelle with arrabiata and shrimp. I forgot what my boy had. The food was delicious — definitely fresh and flavorful — but my gripe was that it did take longer than I’d have liked to receive. The bread and oil/Parmesan was a great filler until it arrived, however. The place has a nice casual and rustic feel to it. You don’t really get the impression you’re in a log cabin, but there’s a natural ambience to it that makes the place seem earthy and authentic. Staff is friendly and nice. They all wear the FIGO T-shirts, except the manager, who is dressed business casual. I would definitely try this place again. Check it out. 4 stars because of the length of time it took to get the food, but this place is cool. Located in the Edgewood Shopping area, close to the bookstore, Best Buy, MARTA, and other things. Parking is abundant in this area too if you’re flexible.

Ive been coming to this Figo since I was a sophomore at Emory and considering how long I’ve lived in ATL now, that’s saying a lot. I’m a fan for several reasons: 1) its a great place that holds lots of wonderful memories for my college friends and I; 2) the food is always good(if you know what to get), and 3) the service really makes it feel more like a neighborhood joint than a chain in the city. I know particularly women, we are always trying the newest IT diets and low carbing because bread, carb, pasta is generally evil to our thighs, ass, arms, legs, feet, hand, face, etc. However, I think there’s a balance to be had so if you allow yourself a cheat day or two then I would come hear and grab one of their panini sandwiches. MY two go to’s are the sausage and pepper and prosciutto mozzarella paninis. It’s great because ½ sandwich is filling and it comes with a cute little green salad and the best part is you can take the other ½ home for leftovers: P(now who doesnt love a meal where you can make 2 out of it?) if you dont then we cant be friends. Give this place a try if you live in the neighborhood: D

God bless the Atkins-Paleo-Bulletproof crowd, but I am a card-carrying carb enthusiast. I need carbs… glorious carbs!!! And at Figo Pasta the carbs are plentiful and the prices are right. They offer 600+ combinations of pastas and sauces to choose from ranging from $ 8.95−12.95. With 35 different types of pasta and 18 different sauce options there really is something for everyone. I do wish their menu included illustrations or descriptions for the pasta though. My pasta shape recognition hand is not very strong. I always I end up playing some air doodle game with my server. Server: «What shape pasta?» Me: «I want the one that’s shaped like this *drawing squiggles in the air with my index finger*» Server: «Uh, ok. You mean the gemelli?» Me:(wondering if I really meant to say fusilli)”…I think so.” I’ll spare you from this uncertainty with a quick primer on names and descriptions: Capellini — long strands of «angel hair»(thinner than spaghetti) Fettuccine — long, flat ribbons(wider than linguine) Fusilli — short, tightly packed corkscrews Gemelli — short, double-helix shaped strands Gnocchi — short, textured pillow folds Linguine — long, flat ribbons(wider than spaghetti) Pappardelle — long, inch-wide flat ribbons(wider than fettuccine) Penne — short, ridged cylinders with hollow centers Ravioli — square or circular stuffed dumplings Rigatoni — short, cylinders with hollow centers(larger than penne) Tagliatelle — long, flat ribbons(slightly narrower than fettuccine) My favorite sauce to order is the Funghi, a cream-based sauce of wild mushrooms and garlic. With slices in every bite, it’s a mushroom lover’s dream! My son likes the 4 Formaggi(four Italian cheeses with herbs). He proclaimed it «the best Alfredo ever,» high praise from the boy who orders Alfredo at every Italian restaurant. Their Insalate menu offers half a dozen salads to choose from. I haven’t actually made it around to the salads yet but they sound healthy – from Caesar to baby spinach. Extra protein(in the form of chicken, salmon or sea bass) can be added to any salad for an extra charge. When we eat-in, our server treats us to bread with an herbed olive oil dip. For some reason they don’t include the bread and herb oil with takeout orders. It’s one of the reasons I prefer eating in. The restaurant is cozy(with lots of booths) and the service is always friendly. Delicious carbs rule at Figo Pasta and I’m very much a fan!

God, who doesn’t love Figo? I love it here. Went here for a casual mother’s day dinner and they were handing out free nutella pasta for mother’s day which I thought was sweet. I absolutely love the bruschetta here and also when they have their seasonal corn soup– it’s to die for. Pasta is always fresh and cooked very well and the sauces are great. It’s just a great meal for a great price with a great ambiance.

I don’t think this was a bad place. But it was not a place I would visit again. The food mediocre that is served like old school soul food kitchens where each thing you order is placed in tiny little bowls on top of a plate! Doesn’t make much sense, but this was my experience. The service was about a 5 — this is a place where you virtually do everything for yourself.

It’s not easy for me to hand out a five star review but Figo gets one. I have always had a great experience here — I’ve been four or five times to this location and many more to the College Ave. location. Food is delicious and I always have leftovers. It’s great that they have rotating specials so you can try new things, or like me, you suck at deciding on what pasta will go with what sauce will go with what protein, etc. I also love that they offer San Pellegrino. Staff are sweet, they will load your pasta with Parmesan(if you’d like), are very attentive and welcoming. They even gave my girlfriend more bread when we ate all of the first basket. I would like to see a broader beer selection, but that could be said for almost all restaurants. Keep up the good work.

I love Figo. I always order the cream sauce with lemon zest on white pasta. My first time at Figo my pasta was a bit dry sauce-wise, so now I always ask for extra sauce. The great thing about Figo is that they cook the noodles so that they’re perfectly al dente :) I will be back.

The quality of food here is always pretty decent. It’s not amazing, but it’s definitely a step above average. It’s a good go-to when I want a step above my normal fast-casual eats.

I love the freedom you’re given with the different types of ravioli, short, and long pastas with an endless list of sauces. The pasta’s always cooked to perfection, and the sauces are heavy with flavor. You can tell the freshness of the food by the satisfying fullness you get without the icky feeling after your meal. I love coming here for lunch for their special combos of panini and soup/salad or short pasta and soup/salad for under $ 7! Can’t beat it. Good portion, too! I was obsessed with the arrabbiata and pollo sauces for a while, but recently tried their funghi and salmon sauces… Now I’ll be torn every time I visit. I’m a huge fan of their arugula salad(the vinaigrette is my favorite hands down), calamari(they fry it with lemon and jalapeño slices), and their coconut carrot with ginger soup(light but filling).

Always plenty of seating available during weekday lunch hours. Great place to get super fresh pasta, topped with just about any kind of sauce you could crave! Your waitperson will bring a basket of fresh/crunchy bread to your table. If they happen to forget, ask them for the delicious olive oil, and balsamic vinegar for dipping the bread into. The Bruschetta, and Caprese Salad are fresh, and delicious starters. I really enjoy the Artichoke Ravioli topped with the Pecorino and Lemon sauce, or the Six Cheese Ravioli topped with the Primavera sauce.(I’m not a vegetarian, but I never miss meat when meatless dishes like this are done so well!) My beau and others in my family love the Ragu’ alla Bolognese sauce, especially with the Fettuccine pasta. My sister ordered the Lasagna di FIGO, and enjoyed everything about it, except for the very strong flavour of Italian sausage in it. They always have a small separate menu board of seasonal choices. For example, in the Fall/Winter, they have unique dishes with things like squash, and mushrooms that they don’t offer during other times of the year. There are always so many choices here. The restaurant always seems clean, and really well staffed. The wait for your pasta may take a little bit longer than your average«Italian» place, but as you can see from the open kitchen window here, each dish is served to order with care(not sitting around in a vat somewhere then sloppily slapped on a plate.)

I have always gotten takeout here, for convenience, but the inside is nice and I’d like to come in to stay sometime. They have a large seating area, and each table has pretty candles. I always get the build your own pasta dish: penne, chicken, and pesto. Their pesto sauce is so good. The only reason I keep coming here is for it because I’ve been unable to find good pesto or a good recipe anywhere. They give a large portion of chicken, but not too much, so you can have chicken in every bite. I wish they gave more pasta though, for the price(about $ 13). The staff has always been very friendly and nice, never had an issue with service.
