I work right across the street from this Great Wraps, so I find myself here every couple of weeks. This is definitely the best Great Wraps I’ve ever been to. It’s a really good option because there’s a good variety of wraps, gyros, and salads available. I’ve really only had one bad experience here. I won’t dwell on it, but it keeps the place from getting 5 stars. Generally, the place is fast and has good service. I really like all the old standbys here — buffalo chicken, cheesy chicken, gyro, etc. etc. Fresh fries made to order with the spice bar available to add some flavor to your potatoes as necessary. Nothing crazy special, but really solid, fresh, and tasty food that’s quick and consistent. This place does a strong lunch business but it’s easy to get in and out of quickly, making it a perfect place to get a decent lunch when you don’t have another option.

A standalone Great Wraps, out of the wild of a food court! I am having severe Thrashers withdrawal symptoms today and Great Wraps used to be my dinner of choice before a game because for like a couple dollars more you could have a giant beer instead of a soda. But no way am I going back to the CNN center just for that, pft. Ok so there’s no giant beers to be found here, but I was starving before class and I remembered seeing this on the way to Medical Center station. There was no way I was gonna make it downtown before chewing off my arm, so I stopped in around 11:15. It was pretty quiet, though people started coming in more around when I left half an hour later. This is different from any of the food court Great Wraps, you could pretty much add anything you want to your wrap from what it says on the menu. Like my crispy chicken wrap doesn’t come with cheese but I won’t turn down cheese if someone asks if I want it. I also added jalapenos. You pretty much go through a line kind of like Moe’s in the same building here. For eight bucks including tax, I was completely full on the wrap, some of the curly fries, and a drink. I got way more fries than I imagined, and there’s a cute little station with their fry seasonings, complete with a grate for you to shake them up over. While I had so many veggies on my wrap I could barely taste the chicken, I’d probably go with a grilled chicken wrap next time, and probably ask for them to go light on the sauce. I had sauce all over my hands when I got down to the last quarter of each side. So good though. Everyone who works here is really friendly, the older half of the employees calling me «sweetie,» which always gets bonus points from me. The very first employee I came into contact with complimented my necklace first thing. I will definitely be back on my way to class then! They also seem to do a lot of delivery/catering to the nearby offices. Someone was on the way out with one when I was walking towards the door and while I was eating, another one was being taken away.

I love Great Wraps. Is it a chain? Yes. But … it’s still good. And better yet, this great wraps is a stand alone. My opinion? Stand alones are ALWAYS better than the ones at the mall. This place is pretty large, spacious, clean, efficient. The parking lot is kinda small so you may have to park in the back, but it’s nice. The prices are right for the decent to good quality food you get. They have daily specials — so find out what the special is, and you’ll get a great deal. They had a great deal this past Friday(College Day). All combos were 50% off. Talk about steal of a deal! Just… make sure to find out what specials they have before you go, if you’re cheap.(but only because this place is cheap anyway, so a 50% off deal is… WAY cheap) I always have to get their classic gyro wrap. They’re always pretty generous with their meat. They put a lot of meat on this past visit. A colleague ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and they cut up 1.5 chicken breasts for her wrap. Fairly generous, I would say. It seems like most of the sales here are take out, although the number of people who dine-in are okay. The take-out orders may outnumber those who stay in. Either way, go and enjoy! They have enough wraps that you can try something new every day for two weeks or so. OH!!! And something that is pretty good. If you are a cheese lover and you like fries, I recommend asking for feta dressing on the side(this is extra). Use the feta dressing as a dip for your curly fries. It’s delicious. Trust me. =)
