Good spot. Got the gyro and some fries, tasted great. I will be back!

OMG. This place! I’m from Chicago, so I know a thing or two about fast-food gyros(I would frequent Greektown at 3:00am for a gyro), so when I moved to the Atlanta area, most of the places I tried were horrible in comparison. WHY was there a Greek salad dumped ON my gyro sandwich? Where was the tzatztiki sauce? No fries? WHEREARETHEFRIES?! ARRGGHHH… And then… this shining little gem came to my attention. A coworker offered to bring me a gyro. Now, having tried so many places(inclucing one so-called rated«best in Atlanta — NOT» I was skeptical. But then she brought it back to me… and it was delicious! On par with many of the places I used to go to in Chicago, maybe even nudging out a few… the fries were HEAVENLY! Those fries! And the«sauce»…not quite like any tzatztiki sauce I’d ever had, another reviewer accurately called it a «tzatztiki flavored ranch», and that’s a pretty good description. But see, I LOVE to dip my fries in ranch. So Greek fries dipped in Greek Ranch, Greek ranch all over my Gyro… heavenly. ABSOLUTELYHEAVENLY. So I sit here at my desk, stuffed and happy and looking forward to making Gyro Gyro a weekly excursion. And if the owners happen to read this, please never, ever EVER stop offering that delicious sauce!!!

Been meaning to leave a review for this place… I go here for lunch once a week now because everything is so fresh and delicious! Plus they have an awesome assortment of canned san peligrinos. I usually always call in and its always ready with extra utensils and sauces just in case by the time i get there. Definitely my go to for greek!

Best Greek food we have found in Atlanta! Excellent service, fresh food, and the best gyros we’ve had. The fries, the salads, everything has been top notch here. Ran into friends from work who had it for lunch and were raving about the Spanikopita. The baklava is sooo good. Don’t miss their white sauce, and be sure to mix with the hot sauce if you like some spice! Great convenient location. They offer takeout, and are sometimes closed on weekend days to be with family, which we not only understand, but respect. Excellent portion sizes. WE make it a point to eat here as often as possible!

Well, I came by to have lunch on Saturday and sadly now closed completely on the weekends. I’ll never be able to eat here again and that’s sad because I just can not get by here during the week. Is it the near end times of this once great place to eat? :(

This was the perfect solution for a weeknight where I didn’t feel like cooking! They had my to-go order ready in less than 10 minutes and I’m hungry again just thinking about how good it was. We had spanakopita(3), Greek salad topped with souvlaki, and a traditional gyro with Greek fries. Portions were on the bigger side… And now so is my waistline. Can’t wait to go back to try more.

decided to try this place bc of the reviews! the food was so yums and I was surprised that I wasn’t able to taste the raw onions. I believe they soaked it in some pickled mixture it go rid of the acidity! def. will come back again!

Gyro was delicious… If the beef and lamb was hot off the grill, would have been five stars…

By far the best Greek restaurant around! The white Sauce is absolutely wonderful, they gyro meat is always cooked and seasoned to perfection! If you’ve never had Greek fries, your totally missing out, because Gyro Gyro has wonderful Greek fries! I personally recommend the Greek Gyro Salad, while my fiancé loves the gyro plate!

Why are you closed on weekends? Your food is great but now we can’t get it on our night out. Very disappointed. Please open back up on Saturday at least.

i had the chicken gyro lunch special, with seasoned fries. The gyro was good, but the fries were really delicious. It is a good enough portion size, for only $ 7.

The food is great and the service is extremely fast! I was looking for Mediterranean food and I decided to try this place because of the great reviews I’ve seen. I ordered a gyro wrap lunch combo to go and the food was ready as soon as I was done making my payment. They give you a lot of meat which is great, although, i felt it was slightly dry. Gave this a four star because the greek fries were AMAZING!

This place is legit! I’m a huge fan of gyros, lamb gyros specifically. I’ve had my fair share, including those in Greece(Lucky’s on Santorini FTW!). I ordered the gyro plate which includes gyro meat, fries, Greek side salad and a pita bread cut in 4 pieces. The meat is very flavorful and has a lot of lamb flavor. Not overly gamy, but I can tell there is a lot of Lamb with little filler. Some of the best meat I’ve had stateside for sure. The white sauce is excellent as mentioned and great on top of the gyro meat and fries. Greek Salad is authentic too and served(as it should be) with a small block of feta on top of the side salad. Dressing is delicious as well. None of the crumbled stuff you find in many other places(ahem Panera). All this for $ 9.95…I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

I was looking for a new local Greek restaurant to frequent as I am new to the area. It was lovely! The Athenian Wrap minus the fries, they give you the option of fake watered down(i.e for the masses who don’t know better) or traditional Tzatziki sauce. The wrap was huge… And very good! They also have a good hot sauce for that extra kick I like! The Greek salad had one lonely olive, or would have been perfect! The feta they use on the salad was yum! The side of falafel was not too dry, good flavor! It’s my understanding that a family member makes the baklava, nice and flaky! I will definitely be back for more!

OHMYGOODNESS!!! Well…wifey and I finally broke down and tried this place… and we have found our Greek place in Atlanta! Total hole in the wall atmosphere(my kind of place)…with absolutely outstanding Greek food! So… here goes… Gyro Plate Made from lamb(really the only way to make it) and exceptionally tasty and well done! The plate comes with a Greek salad which is excellent, but I must say the best part of the salad is the tomatoes and Feta. This Feta is not crumbled on top, but a solid hunk of Feta that you can divide up between the tomatoes, kind of like an Italian Caprese salad… yummy Greek Fries is the other side… and they are cooked to perfection… and then seasoned in that Greek way… another yummy! Finally, pita… and this pita is very tasty, more so than any other Greek place I have tried! Wifey Time — Souvlaki The Souvlaki plate comes with the same sides as the Gyro… and wifey agrees with my assessment of them. As for the Souvlaki… it is interesting… as wifey and I have tired several Greek places… they tend to either get the Souvlaki right or the Gryo right, but not both. At Gyro Gyro, they get them BOTH right! The Souvlaki is really good as well… Finally…the«White» sauce… this is not exactly Tzatziki sauce… it is something else… but…it is perfect for the Gyro, Souvlaki and the fries… it is quite tasty… and does not make us miss Tzatziki at all…

Stopped here for dinner one evening and got the gyro platter. the food came out in a timely manner and it was very good. «The Sauce» was memorable. although it strayed a bit father from the traditional gyro sauce than I would have liked. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The staff was super friendly!!!

This place is so good! My boyfriend and I was checking out some place to eat for lunch and it was only 2 mins drive from our place. I got the gryo wrap in beef and lamp. My wrap is a little small but some much flavor in the wrap. The beef and lamp doesn’t have a strong smell, mostly the lamp. I had fries with my dish and the fries was ok. I really didn’t care for the fries. The white sauce that goes with the wrap tasted pretty good. My bf got the Philly steak from here. His was good but I like mine a lot more. One of those wrap will make you full. Ok if you watch Buzzfeed you’ll might know what this waffle cook is. I saw this when I was watching it online and I had to give it a try. This butter syrup waffle called Roomboter is so tasty! It’s in a shape of a waffle but is not crispy but soft with this caramel fulling in the middle and its so good. You have to try this if you come here. They have sample of you asked them for it. This waffle taste great with coffee and tea. Yes I’m in heaven!!! I would come back here again when I’m craving Greek food!!!

I drive past this place everyday on my way to work and finally decided to try it out for lunch today. I decided to try their lunch special gyro wrap which comes with either fries or a salad. I decided to get the fries. The meal came out to be $ 7.00 after tax and I got a free small drink for checking in with the Unilocal app! I called in my order and it was ready for me by the time I came by to pick it up. This place is pretty spacious inside and had plenty of seating. My gyro was delicious and had plenty of meat. My coworker got the souvlaki wrap with a salad and really enjoyed her meal too. My fries were a little bland but could easily be fixed by adding a little salt.

Man, I last had this place over 2 years ago. I did not like it and I never went back. Yesterday, I had a hankering for a gyro. I pulled into the Grecian Gyro Dunwoody because it was along the way and I have been meaning to try it. I parked but never got of the car. The reviews were solid enough, but Gyro Gyro Reviews were better. What was I missing? Maybe they changed over the past few years. Changed management? New recipe? Maybe I just had a bad day sandwich. So I left Grecian and drove over to Gyro Gyro. Yep, the Unilocal Reviews pulled me away. I ordered the basic gyro add feta for 65 cents more. The girl at the register told me she me put extra tzatziki sauce in the bag. Perfect! While waiting, I noticed this is a good size restaurant. The dining area is is elongated with plenty of seating. There was only 1 person dining in though. I got home to dine and surprisingly enough it was better. Way better! When I added the tzatziki sauce, it only improved… Dramatically! There sauce is some of the best I have had on a gyro, period. It has a zing to it, can’t place my taste buds on it now to give you more insight, but just try it for yourself. You will appreciate me for it and they will appreciated your patronage. Okay, I am a fan now. Location There is a new«green» Neighborhood Wal-Mart across the street. They are tucked away in a small strip store style block in a residential area. Just Unilocal,or ah Google it.
