With a name like Posh, I didn’t expect to drive up and see what appeared to be a French country house. In a word — adorable. Inside a comfortable lounge with a small wooden bar that leads into the main dining room. The majority of the lounge was reserved for us as it was my friend’s birthday. I can imagine how full it would have been otherwise. Fresh and sassy cocktails prepared by our bartender Ragan(she’s a very talented mixologist and is venturing off to her own place called Holeman & Finch Public House — opens winter 2008). Back to Posh — ordered an appetizer of tuna tartar prepared three different ways. Fresh and visually pleasing. I would go back to try a full dinner for sure.

Posh is one of the growing number of restaurants that has been converted from a beautiful home into a modern graceful destination. The bar at Posh is on the way to the main seating area and has a lounge design to it, draped with thick black curtains it has a quiet modern feel. The guests enjoying the bar are mostly well dressed professionals in there forties and fifties waiting for there reservation although there were a fair number of guests enjoying cocktails with friends. Seating is limited in the bar and smoking is not allowed. The main dining area is large and what you might expect from a upscale romantic restaurant, white tablecloths, fresh flowers and experienced servers. The food is fresh and well prepared, the tuna tartare was exceptional. Downstairs you’ll find the wine cellar stocked with wonderful selections including a Washington«Stella Mari» blend that I recommend, there are also restrooms and a private dining room. Overall not one of a kind but one of a very few of a kind.

Great atmosphere, food and service in an intimate setting. Beautiful older Buckhead home turned into a wonderful, intimate white table cloth, candled dining experience. The food is prepared with savory but not overpowering sauces which made really made the dish. The service is attentive, professional and with personality. I enjoy fine dining with a professional wait staff, but also like it when my server speaks to me like a person as oppose to just simply another table and my waiter Caleb was just that person. I will definitely return!

In this day and age of global design/style, it is easy forget where you are the second you walk into restaurant x and order your first drink. New York? No, Singapore. Seattle? No, Paris. But when you enter Posh there is no denying where you are… in the heart of Atlanta. And not just any old part of Atlanta. Buckhead. Which, oddly, is kind of refreshing. The food is comforting, not overly familiar, and seasonally fresh. Come here for the people-watching, and leave with a satisfied stomach. A nice new addition to Atlanta’s food scene.

Posh is a new addition to the Tom Catherall’s restaurant chain. It features chic and elegant dining setting with a hint of homely feeling. Posh offers modern American cuisine. During the weekdays, Posh has two-course or three-course lunch menu(which are unbelievably cheap), and they serve dinner nightly(which is more costly). My boyfriend and I went to Posh during lunch hour and had the pleasure of ordering the three-course lunch. We had English Pea Soup, Salmon Sandwich, Carrot Cake, and Almond Basket. They all tasted fine, but not five-star-worth. I was also told that they change their menu weekly, according to the season’s specials, etc. In addition, their service was very professional and prompt. I absolutely loved their lunch menu: It’s $ 20 for two-course, and $ 25 for three-course. Overall, it’s a nice restaurant to have a romantic dinner between two, or a large group of people(They accomodate large group of people, but call ahead to make sure). I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience here, and I definitely see myself coming back here.
