The garlic knots were really good. We tried the house salad and it was also very good. Little head up that two half orders of salad are cheaper than a full order, and you get much more salad. I can’t really judge the pizza as we only had individual slices but I’m sure a whole pizza is much better than the single slices we got.

I moved here from NYC in November and this is the closest thing to New York pizza I have found in Atlanta(caveat: I have not tried antico’s yet). I love their specialty slices but I wish they offered all of them as single slices.

Really good pizza. I had the pepperoni and it was on trivia night great atmosphere and great hospitality. It was cool how they had streets to tell them who to give the pizza to. My sister had cheese and it was good too. It was just all around great.

A neighborhood pizza joint is great. But when the pizza is THISGOOD — it is a real gem. I love this place. No frills, just great pizza in a fun and laid back environment. I also recommend the eggplant parm sub. They also have a local teenager who does magic tricks for the kids. He was amazing! He did a card trick I still can’t stop thinking about. Slice is awesome.

I love, love, LOVE this place! People that work there are so down to earth and friendly. Pizza is great by slice or the whole pie. Cheesy bread is my favorite go-to with a pitcher of beer. They change out their taps pretty regularly and get some fun stuff in. Veggie slice is my favorite but you can’t go wrong with anything you choose! Best pizza in Brookhaven!

The calzones at Slice are so good! And I love that they deliver! They’ve always gotten to our house quickly while it’s still hot. The pizza is good(the calzones are better) but it’s the best that delivers.

Love the food. Trivia on Thursdays is our favorite! One of the only restaurants in Brookhaven with Tropicalia on draft

The pizza and menu items are good. Those of you with refined palates can wait in line at Verde or Kaleidoscope for another 20 minutes while I’m already sitting down, post-order. Live music on Wednesdays.

DISAPPOINTED. HORRIBLE customer service. I noticed they delivered so I decided to give them a try. I went to their website and checked out the menu and was pleasantly surprised they had a Monday night special $ 11.99 for a large cheese. I gave them a call was going to also order wings and a salad. I gave them a call and said I would like the Monday special and was rudely told that is old and they don’t have that anymore even though it’s clearly on the website. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me the same thing, again I stated its on your website. He said someone else had just called in and asked for the same special and he turned them away as well. If you are a good business person you should know the customer is always right, even though sometimes they are not. In this instance, they should honor their website and gain a customer. This was my first time ordering, and didn’t, they have lost a customer, as that is bad business. I think ill go to kaleidoscope and get a pizza instead :)

This place used to take pride in what they did. I loved their food until recently. They stopped caring about customer service and I had to wait an hour and a half before showing up and letting them know how I felt. They did not care at all that I had spent over a 1000 at their establishment and asked me to leave. This place is terrible now and I hope they close sooner than later so others aren’t having to deal with their unprofessionalism. Below par establishment. Save your money

This is the most underwhelming pizza place I’ve eaten at. This is my second time getting food from there. The first time was bad but I thought I caught them on an off day, so I gave it another try. I should have known when I looked at the pizza. I ordered a supreme pizza and it came out looking like an old and cold peperoni pizza that they reheated and threw on extra topping. The wings also looked like crap. It just seem like no one took any pride in what they prepared there. I think there are better pizza places around. This place is not going to last if it keeps on being like this. They just lost me as a customer.

I feel like the best way to judge a pizza place is if the plain cheese pizza is good. If the basics are delicious, then everything else like toppings should probably follow suit. Well I was babysitting and ordered the plain cheese for dinner. So average. So underwhelming. Honestly I thought it was a little gross too. The cheese wasn’t ooey gooey like you could jump rope with it. It was kinda cold. Pretty tasteless. Sauce, meh. Crust, flavorless. The price was really good at $ 16. I imagine Mellow Mushroom would be a few dollars more, but Mellow would at least be worth eating.

I discovered this place on the way to the dmv so I thought I’d drop in for a quick lunch. First thing I notice is I’m literally the only person in the joint. Weird. Pretty decent atmosphere for a neighborhood place but not a lot of seating if they were busy. Second thing I noticed were the $ 5-$ 6 slice prices. I figured these things must be huge, or really delicious. Unfortunately no lunch special offerings either. I ordered the lasagna slice thinking what an unusual combination. It had a mild lasagna taste to it, and really was not much larger than a slice from a home delivery chain. The crust was nice and crispy with a perfect rise, but lacked any flavor or uniqueness. Even a little more salt would help the crust stand out. Overall I was not impressed. I probably won’t come back with Vintage Pizza being right down the road. Vintage is far superior in flavor, sauce, crust, and unique options for toppings. Plus, for seven bucks you get a huge, delicious slice and a fantastic salad for only $ 7 at lunch! That’s hard to beat.

Nice place for a quick lunch. They didn’t seem to be very busy during the lunch crowd so you can get in and out pretty quickly. They are located in a great neighborhood, but difficult to see from main street.

Mmmm, my Fellini’s heart now lives in Brookhaven. Slice is very similar — and closer to me when I don’t want to venture far from home. Really, the comparison isn’t just based on location — Slice has very similar versions of what I love at Fellini’s. Salad — lettuce, tom, etc with their own signature dressing. Slices at any time — my fave here being a toss up(so far) between my longtime-adored cheese w/extra cheese(always a baseline for a new place, at least for me! kinda like getting a «basic» burger when I try a new spot…) and what I also tried last night — mushroom, onion and pepperoni. I’ll always revert to their cheese when I’m indecisive, but the ingredients on(my parents’ choice of) the other were yummy, fresh(mushrooms) and generous. Done, and done. Oh, good crust too — even when it crisps up a bit when I need it a little hotter, given it being take out, and slip it in the oven for 5ish minutes, at 425(my preference — please tell me you don’t heat pizza in a microwave). Since Mom picked up the food, I can’t speak to more than that — so obviously, I must go to the actual resto, which I expect will match up!

Slice is a seemingly classic neighborhood joint. It’s quaint and casual, it sort of has a sports bar vibe with the set-up,. but it’s much smaller than your average sports bar, heck, it’s pretty small for a pizza joint. My initial reaction was that the set-up is fairly similar to Fellini’s — same essential set-up(order at the counter), even the menu board is nearly identical, but upon a closer reading, it seems that Slice has a more comprehensive selection in comparison. In addition to pizza(available by slice or whole pie — medium/large), there are salads, calzones, subs, pasta, and a smattering of Italian apps available. To start, we ordered the bruschetta, which for only $ 4, I was pleasantly surprised by the serving size — the perfect amount for two people. We also enjoyed them, the baguettes were crisp without being hard, and the tomatoes and mozzarella were fresh For our entrée we went with a medium pie: The Chicken Alfredo($ 15; grilled chicken, alfredo sauce, basil). Overall, we both enjoyed it — it is predominantly alfredo sauce, so if that’s not a flavor you enjoy, don’t order this one, but if you do it’s quite good! It’s rich and savory, the chicken is well-cooked — not dried out all, but unfortunately there was absolutely no hint of basil which I’ll admit is disappointing. The crust also was much to tough — not crispy, hard, and parts of it were burned and singed. Thankfully, it was only the crust that was burned, so the integrity of the pizza remained in tact. The service was good, the staff was friendly and attentive enough, and we received our appetizer, pizza, and bill in a timely and efficient manner. Again, it makes for a good family joint: there seems to be a lot of families there for dinner on weeknights, and the price is right!

Finally decided to try this pizza joint out after seeing it a few times when I visit Yoforia. This is definitely your neighborhood pizza joint and hangout for watching games. If I live within walking distance, I would walk to have pizza at this place. We saw a kid ride his bike to order pizza at this place when we walked in. Parking will be limited on week nights as I was in the same shopping area the night before and there were no parking spaces available at all. The establishment has lots of small and large tables and bar seating. On each table, there are seasonings such as oregano, hot pepper flakes, and Parmesan. There is also an outdoor patio with a few small tables with umbrellas. Food: After a few minutes, we finally decide on ordering a medium supreme pizza since we were so indecisive on what to order. You can order by the slice here as well. We decide to sit outside and it might have been a bad idea since it is a windy day outside. Our pizza came out quickly in about what felt like 10 minutes. Our medium supreme pizza was sliced into six large slices oozing with cheese. The crust is slightly crunchy. They are generous on their toppings. For two people, we still had two huge slices left to take home with us for later. Overall, I would dine here again if I don’t feel like driving into downtown for pizza at Fellini’s. The prices are very reasonable here. I would like to try their pastas and lasagna. Also, there’s a Scout Mob for the establishment that is only valid for use Mondays through Thursdays at $ 10 off of your meal.

I should begin by saying that I never patroned the previous Pizza Haven, but this is the same place, just re-vamped as the new Slice of Brookhaven. Hubby and I decided to give Slice of Brookhaven a shot(which is saying A LOT since its across the street from my favoritest place ever, Kaleidiscope) on a Sunday night. I noticed they had a Scoutmob for 50% off(max $ 10 discount) and we both wanted pizza and to watch the game, so seemed like a good fit! We got the last space in the parking lot, which I might add, several of the other patrons parked very creatively in this tiny lot. Even though I got the last space, there could have been two more had the other peeps parked straight. We walked in and noticed two things immediately:(1) the heat and(2) ohemgeeeeee, the childrens. Lucky for us, almost all the children left while we were placing our order, but it was so crazy in there when we first stepped in the door, we almost turned on our heels and made a beeline for Kaleidiscope. We stuck it out and decided to sit at the bar and avoid the chaos. Because we had the Scoutmob, I took the liberty of ordering a few things: the mozz knots, greek salad, and medium supreme pizza. I should note that the menu is just pizza, salads, and pastas. This is definitely not the place to come if you’re trying to go low carb! When placing our order, we asked about beer on draft and received the lackluster list of bud light, yuengling, and fat tire. Bottles didn’t fare better. In good news, I found out that you can BYOB here so definitely feel free. At least the price tag for a draft bud light isn’t so bad — $ 2.75/glass. We sat at the bar and had a good view of 3 TVs all featuring the game. Lucky for us too, there was a wide open window. I noticed later that the thermostat read 84 degrees. No wonder it was so friggin’ hot in there! Mercy!(and note, it was 55 degrees outside, so not cold at all). The window gave us nice relief from the heat. We both got our draft beers and I got a water, which interestingly came without ice, which is fine by me, but others might find this odd. Our salad came out after a bit. I thought we had ordered the half, but we wound up with the full, which was MASSIVE. I really enjoyed the greek dressing and I’m glad we requested spinach as the salad base. I think the peeps here really love olives as the salad was covered in them. It was pretty good. Next up were the mozz knots, which were HEAVENLY. I’d definitely order these again! In fact, an order of mozz knots and a salad would be a perfect meal. The dough of the knots is really tasty, and made all the more better with the melty cheese on top. It would be fab if they offered the option to get pepperoni or italian sausage crumbled on top — YUM! The only odd/off-putting thing about the mozz knots is that they were served in a foil pie pan, which was hothothot. It also made it super tricky to get the extra cheese off the bottom of the pan — I kept thinking my fork would shoot straight through the pan! Maybe a Le Creuset pan? Or an oven-safe plate? Something a little more sturdy for these yummy guys! The pizza came last and I must say, the medium is HUGE. The crust is thin and for me, I really liked the meatball topping that came as part of the supreme pizza. Was it the best pizza I’ve ever had? No, but it wasn’t bad. And with a $ 17 price tag, I was hoping for something better than«its fine» pizza. I also think the same olive lover made my pizza, as our supreme pizza was mostly olives. As someone who usually orders a supreme sans olives, this was disappointing. Next time I would get this pizza without olives, fo sho. Slices are offered all day and are definitely the most economical way around the menu. I asked the three regulars at the bar if the slices tasted fresh and they said yes. Just FYI, because I thought they might only offer slices at certain times per day… At the end of the day, I’m thinking I’m not the clientele Slice of Brookhaven is aiming to please. Between the extreme heat, the«kids are fun!» message on the chalkboard menu, the mega lack of interesting beer options, and the fairly okay pizza, I get the feeling that Slice of Brookhaven is another great neighborhood option for families who wanted another option than the mexican food at Verde. If I return, it will be after 8:00pm, with a bottle of wine in hand, ready to tuck into mozz knots and a delicious salad! I should also mention that service was very friendly and made the experience pleasant, even with limited staff. I also liked the super cute touch of using the neighborhood’s street names as the«numbers» for the table. I couldn’t find a website for Slice of Brookhaven, so I took pictures of the menu and of our food items so you can see how things price out. The kids menu looks like a pretty good value! I really want this place to succeed, so I hope the fams in the neighborhood seek it out and enjoy!
