Hole In The Wall is definitely a dive place. Super young crowd and always very packed on the weekends. People usually just bounce between here and Moondogs for the night for a proper Buckhead experience!

This is for a recent Saturday night: The bouncers were cool. The exterior is kinda gross. The interior is kinda gross. The bartenders were cool and made good drinks. The music was alright like a lot of radio hits and some old school. I’d say the clientele was«interesting». had some bottom feeding looking people in there. And some ok ones I guess. Best looking girl was maybe a 6 and she was nasty sloppy on some dude. Would go back sure why not but would wear shorts and a t shirt and not even decent shoes.

Reggae, hiphop, gasolinaaaaaa specifically. Mostlyyy hiphop tho for sure. One pool table. Plenty of security. People were def dancing. Med size inside. I wish i wouldve went upstairs. I was just so tied up in decent fun. I heard upstairs plays rock, idk. Def would go back. It was packed tho. I think cause college semesters are freshly done.

I only have been on a Monday and Wednesday night but I enjoyed the two drastically different atmospheres that the bar provided. Monday is chill with only one bar and a long room. Great drink specials and pitchers. Live local comedy, beer pong, and no cover! It’s a steal. Warning the comedy can be good and bad. The last comedian ‘Dirty’ stole the show. She is wild and watches the other comedians, which i definitely respect. Basically every comedian had at least one race joke which i found ridiculous, but such is the society we live sadly… Wednesday, very diverse, friendly, loud, and college looking crowd. They open up the entire bar, which is a pretty huge size. Once The drinking starts you will start losing your friends. Have fun, this place is a blast!

The bartender was great, however the bouncer was on some power trip. My friends wanted to leave before we even finished our drinks. I was walking out with them trying to get them to wait while I finished my drink. The bouncer told me I can’t take the drink out of the bar(completely understandable) so I turned around and was walking back(a few steps out) while taking a drink. The bouncer ripped the bottle out of my hand and the liquid ruined my silk shirt and drenched my hair. I felt assaulted! I was not being reckless or rude and his actions were excessive especially towards a petite female. I was in complete shock and upset that anyone would handle me like that. I am thankful he didn’t chip my teeth or fall down and injure myself. I will never go back there again.

Went here for the first time on Wednesday. It was pretty nice, a lot of college kids though… so go figure!!! Free beer from 10−11pm, no cover charge, smoking is allowed, hip hop music on fleek. I got there early @ about 10pm the place wasn’t really crowded at all, blinked my eye, and it was PACKED. I’ll consider going back! Oh & parking was $ 5, Special ShoutOut to ISSY, best bartender ever!

I liked this place a lot! I am not from ATL so I wanted to go to a local place. This place was cool. They had beer pong, free beer from 10 – 11, and a cage/stripper pole. My friends and I had a great time. The bartenders were pretty awesome as well. If you are around 20 – 35 this place is awesome! Check it out!

Yeah, so this place was just OKAY. The only reason why I went here was because Bottle Bar was closed, and my friend didn’t want to travel across town to any other place. The cover charge was only $ 3.00. The drinks were okay, and the crowd was very diversed. The DJ played a lot of hits, but they were techno version which was okay with me. I didn’t really dance I only stood around. The reason for this is because there were a lot of «Weird» guys there who felt the need to touch and follow women around. The place has a pole inside where a lot of women were taking turns… I actually enjoyed seeing women on the pole and«attempting» to pretend as if they knew what they were doing. This is not a place I would reguarly visit, and my friend is actually wanting to go back here for a birthday… I’m honestly not looking forward to it, but I will support my friend since its her birthday.

Nicole the bare tender is awesome as hell, the security here is so hypocritical. Me and my military folks were in town for 3 weeks of training and came here for drinks and good music. The one security guy whose heavy was a real jerk and made my friend stand outside the bar because he had on like some basketball shorts, mind you it was raining. Even though he was in the club earlier and allowed to spend all his money on alcohol, the guy comes over and is like you have to leave even though there were other males wearing LEGGINGS and booty shorts. I was beyond floored that others were allowed in because they knew the staff which was evident from them all hugging but we can’t just sit and have a drink. We left and went to another place and spent our money there… on our next tour through Atlanta, we will not go here and we will for warm all military people to steer clear.

Hole in the Wall is a straight up divey, college bar. The majority of its patrons are in their early 20’s or younger(under 21-ers with fake IDs). There’s a dance area complete with yes, a stripper pole — with a strict ‘No Boys’ policy, there’s even a sign. There are pool tables towards the back, a few booths, and there’s even hookah, if dancing isn’t your thing. Now I’ll admit, in my younger days, we used to frequent this bar like there was no other bar in town. Yes, the drinks are cheap and it makes your wallet friendly for the night, but the bartenders use cheap liquor for their mixed drinks/shots. It’ll make you sick and your hangover ten times worse. Unfortunately, they have do charge a cover on certain nights — definitely not worth it, especially since you can get the same experience at Moondogs(literally just up the stairs) for free — plus karaōke!

This past Saturday night, a few friends and myself decided to go bar hopping. We started off at this place. It was dead! Music Midtown was also going on, so this is possibly why there weren’t a lot of people. The drinks were pretty good, and the music definitely put you in the mood to dance. I’ll give it another shot…

I enjoyed coming here for a friend’s bday. It was okay, but not the best. Come here if you have lots of friends, late night, and want to drink and dance. At first I wanted to sit, so I guess that was the problem. But I did have fun with my girls. We always do.

How can I describe this place? I guess some pros are no cover charge. But then again, if that was all I cared about I’d just stay home. It does make for some interesting people watching. I definitely remember saying«Oh my gosh, look at those people over there and what they’re doing». but that’s not worth a 2nd return. The crowd is a mixture of average Buckhead dudes and chicks(collared shirts, khakis, boat shoes), some Hispanic dudes, some people who look very young, and some girls who want to dance on a pole. It was slightly frightening for me to people watch here, I must say. I worried about Darwinism and how they had survived. I also never have been approached by a dude making a motion like a fish reel trying to ‘reel me in’. Wth? It was funny but so weird. Would I go back? No. Do I have a good laugh about it? Yes.

Birthday boy opted to go bar hopping instead of getting a table at a club. So we started off here and didn’t have to pay a cover. I’ve been here a few times during my college days(never my choice), and everything is still the same. It doesn’t fill up like the other nearby bars and the music is alright. Despite bumpin’ the music, almost NOONE dances, which I thought was weird. Drinks are pretty decent, especially when you’ve got connections. ;) They were playing Iron Man 3 on the projector over one of the bars. If people watching doesn’t entertain you enough, I guess the movie will. If you’re in Buckhead, I’d say skip Hole in the Wall! There is this food truck that parks outside it, though. Everyone gravitates to it eventually, especially after you’ve had a few drinks and need to fill your stomach with some good eats.

Came by this previous weekend for a birthday event, and found the place alright. I guess it was pretty dead so I would of preferred staying at Moondogs instead, but we ended up having to come out due to a guy being quite… intoxicated. They play decently good music, they have poles for you to dance around, and they even have creepy guys undressing you with their eyes. It’s pretty standard for the typical bar/“club”. No cover before midnight, for ladies and males! Don’t forget to get a stamp so you can go from bar to bar without any cover, even after midnight. If I was coming to dance, I would prefer going to a club instead. But they have tables for you to watch and get your drink on instead.

This place was pretty dang fun! There is a raised dance floor, beer pong tables, pool tables, and plenty of space. We went here for bar review with law students, so it was great having our own little first-year crew. I ordered a hot dog outside at the food cart and it sucked, though. The guy put on all this stuff on it and he told me I couldn’t change the toppings(Goldfish, relish, sauerkraut, ketchup, mustard, onions… basically every single condiment you can think of). It was funny, but not yummy.

My hubby and I were bar-hopping on a Friday night; We spotted this dive bar in Buckhead and entered slowly… Security checked our IDs and didn’t charge us to enter, so this place alrdy gets cool points for being free 99! A large room, DJ, 3 bars, and college aged kids mostly occupy this space The bartenders were engaging and charming! There were plenty of bar specials. It was a Friday, and it wasnt packed, the DJ told me it gets crazy packed on Saturdays. I personally can appreciate undercrowdedness. Plenty of beer pong, break-dancers, smoking and shots happening here This spot is connected to sportsbars above it, so naturally we explored them too. Verdict-Unexpected blast, friendly drunk ppl and affordable fun will bring us back for more! Do not come here if you’re lookling for your typical overpriced, stuck-up, cookie cutter Buckhead bar.

This is another dive bar in Atlanta. Honestly, I think dive bars are the thing in the ATL. This particular bar was frequented by a lot of damn college kids from schools like Georgia Tech, Emory, or Morehouse. It’s old and smokey inside and you can find people playing beer pong and other college drinking games inside.
