Had lunch here yesterday. This is a very beautiful hotel restaurant with awesome views of the Atlantic Ocean. The service was first class and the food perfect.

My favorite dinner on my weekend stay in Jacksonville. I actually stayed at the resort, so this just added to the wonderful stay we had. The server was very attentive and knowledgable. The drinks were yummy! Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully prepared. We got a lot of special treatment and free chocolates and tastings. We even got to watch the sunset on the beach out the window. This place is well worth the money and visit! You won’t be disappointed! Breakfast = we went here for breakfast the following morning and that did not disappoint either! Everything was very tasty and fresh. All in all, this place is consistently a great place to dine.

Hoping to have dinner while watching a beautiful sunset, I was looking forward to my reservation at Azurea. As it turned out, it rained the entire day so there was no sun out to set. While that was disappointing, our meal certainly was not. The amuse bouche really started our meal off right, followed by the«award-winning» crab cake. It was full of crab meat and the«candied» collard greens underneath were delicious. And then they topped it with bacon… excellent! Along with the appetizer, I ate the asiago cheese, sourdough, and cinnamon raisin bread, which were all incredible! The toppings were delicious too — caramelized onions, oil and balsamic vinegar, pesto, and butter with herbs and sea salt. I had the coriander dusted sea bass with Maine lobster and mango-lime gastrique. Service was as delightful as the ambiance. I’ll have to return to try the desserts and to really enjoy the sunset.

Excellent service. Great view and ambience. Most importantly, outstanding food. We had the house mushroom soup, shared the fish tacos and finished with the short ribs. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented.

Had birthday lunch for my dad’s 65th birthday; food was fantastic: seafood Cobb salad, lobster tortellini and chicken chipotle sandwich! Chef Lamar, Pastry Chef Ashley and server Kim were phenomenal. Thank you!

Gorgeous Atmosphere. The staff will bring you an array of different items prior to your main course. The bread was amazing(pumpkin butter, garlic butter, olive oil, sweet butter) we had Mahi, swordfish, asparagus and collared greens. The fish was fresh and The flavor was on point. My biggest frustration with chefs is when they go overboard with flavor, however this was not the case with our meal. At the end of dinner, we received a platter of mini chocolates. The presentation was fantastic, Service was excellent.

My mom and I just love this restaurant. We are visiting from New York so we have decided to explore many restaurants as possible in this area. After eating here, we feel this is the best restaurants as this point. Great ambiance with reasonable price too!

One of my favorite restaurants in Jacksonville! You don’t get much better than Azurea for dining in Duval County. It is obvious that all of the ingredients are very fresh, well prepared and made in house at Azurea. Service and views of the Atlantic ocean are fantastic. Their menu changes seasonal, but there are some staple items that remain on the menu year around — like the seafood cob salad, which is awesome. The menu also includes great cheese and dessert selections. I would highly recommend dining her for any occasion.

My wife and I have dined here twice now and both times have left with our stomachs full and our mouths speechless. Their food is delicate and precise. The service is amazing. We had the pleasure of having Dwayne, who happens to also be the restaurant sommelier. He recommended great wine pairings for the scallops, my dinner, and the sea bass, my wife’s dinner. Everything was cooked to perfection, from the seat on my scallops to the moistness of the sea bass. We finished up with their homemade ice cream that is velvety and rich. There are many great restaurants in jax beach, but Azurea is truly a fine dining experience like no where else in the area.

Highly recommend Azurea!!! The views amazing, ambience chic, cool bar and patio overlooking the ocean, and food incredible and not a bad price either. The service(Dwayne mad Anita) was outstanding — very engaged and made for an even better experience. Don’t let the face it is in a hotel dissuade you — incredibly strong recommendation. Make your reservation on Open Table and request a booth if you are a couple — very romantic!

I treated my mom to brunch here for Mother’s Day a year ago and I still remember how great the brunch was. I haven’t been here for dinner but I would definitely recommend coming here for brunch.

Food was great but service was horrible. Lots of wait staff but we ended up with the slow waitress who wanted to be demeaning because we wanted to sit at a booth with our son who is 5. We were given the wrong menu and didn’t receive the nice candy display dish like every other customer received when getting their bill. Took forever to get drinks and just felt like the entire wait staff was on another planet. Even though it was Easter at 11 am it really wasn’t even that busy. I also made a reservation and had to wait for my table. Just didn’t seem to have it together today. Very disappointed.

The Egg Benedict with Canadian bacon is decently nice … However the Benedict has little heat and the sauce is slight above room temperature. It would be lot better. The pancake is much better and the cappuccino is very enjoyable. Consider this is an upscale restaurant at a prime boutique hotel in the Atlantic beach JAX therefore I would give it 3.5 stars instead of a 4 stars. The waitress is extremely professional and nice. The seating staff is very courtesy and the pronounce my last name very accurate… impressing … :) Overall it is a nice brunch on Sunday.

Great service start to finish. Had the candy cane beet salad with walnut chèvre, crab cake, the grouper 3 ways(the blackened was amazing!!) and the coriander dusted sea bass. Everything was spectacular! We saved no room for dessert but how could we when everything sounded and tasted so good!

This is a five stars restaurant in the Unilocal scoring system. My experience tells me that the only way one would score less than five stars is the price. Of course, is an expensive restaurant because is a very upscale restaurant. The menu changes with each season, representing the latest trends and the finest ingredients, I was told. Many of the items on the menu can’t hardly be found at other restaurants. I had the opportunity to appreciate good bread with four different spreads; apple sauce, black garlic, vinaigrette, and butter. All very good. I did not know that there was such a thing as black garlic. Wikipedia says that«is a type of caramelized garlic first used over the course of several weeks, a process that results in black cloves». It was the best of the four spreads. I also had a nice Cesar salad, a squash soup(tasted like heaven), a beet salad, and the great Roasted Butternut Squash Tortellini. I did not order dessert, I was full, but I still was given something sweet to finish my dinner at no cost. The place was not too busy, and I enjoyed great food, excellent service in a great environment. Recommended when money is available.

I’ve just had the best meal of my life… Birthday celebration at Azurea was a great memory. We were served by Duane and Anita and their service was flawless. Duane is also the sommelier and his wine recommendations were perfect for the entrees we ordered. The fennel dusted sea bass was perfectly cooked and it was light and buttery. The chef seasoned the dish perfectly and it was served with Yukon gold whipped potatoes that were fantastic. This dish won a James Beard award… We also ordered the diver scallops that were HUGE and so tender. It was served over blue corn grits with a creamy blue cheese sauce — that was light and not overpowering. A perfectly balanced blend of flavors and textures. Duane suggested a light Chardonnay that did not overpower, but complimented well both dishes. We shared both dishes and the chef gladly split the dishes and presented the combinations beautifully for both of us. After the meal, they surprised me with a flour less chocolate cake and a glass of Cabernet to boot. Both the manager and the chef visited our table, and it was an experience I will always remember fondly. And through it all, Anita worked perfectly with Duane to clean the table between courses, keep our water glasses full, and make us feel like honored guests. Highly recommended. A good wine list, very reasonably priced entrees, and a beautiful setting. Perfect place for a special dinner or just a very fine one…
