Cool spot for drinks and watching sports. 3 big flat screen tv’s hang behind the main bar and couches all around. Bartender took care of us as i had Macallan 12 neat. Threw in a free soda for my belle as well as a refill. He also wouldn’t let me leave without finishing it so he actually put it in a «to-go-cup». God i love jersey and their rules. Coming back next time for sure.

Bartender Danny’ll take care of you! Assuming you’re interested in the local sports game — Caesar’s must have taken advantage of a fire sale on flatscreens — drink on the cheap with a $ 5 Bud/Bud Light and shot special, and relax. There’s seating for a crowd, so bring friends.

21 Bar is another one of those standard, no thrills, casino bars. But, oh wait… «We’re not part of Caesar’s,» said the bartender to multiple people who tried to leave here with drink in hand. Really? Which means what exactly, considering it’s right in the middle of the property? Ohhhh, you can’t take their drinks from the bar into the actual casino… which serves ITSOWN drinks. WTF is going on here? Talk about ridiculous. Whatever. Just keep your narrow selection of eight bottled and overpriced beers to yourself then. There are better places to go, so don’t waste much time here.

This spot seemed like it was the only place in Atlantic City that was showing the Mayweather/Guerrero fight. My friend and I arrived there early enough in that we did not have to pay admission. The place was definitely packed, but with others who most likely were there to see the fight as well. The bouncer regulated entry and exit in a good manner. Once they stop letting in people, they did a great job of remembering who had been in there first versus the newcomers. The bartenders handle the large crowd pretty well. They remained courteous and friendly despite seemingly have to serve many drinks a minute. My review is strictly based on my experience at 21 Bar during the aforementioned fight and not that of a club goer. I cannot complain at all.

Our visit to 21 Bar was so disappointing. This is a new bar/lounge/dance venue located right next to Dusk in Caesars. First of all, they’re taking themselves just a liiiittle too seriously. There were two bouncers at the roped-off entrance(really?), and the guy checking IDs was legit: he manually checked pictures and dates, then ran our IDs through the machine until they could be validated. Damn! I was waiting for a barrage of questions about when I graduated high school and what my astrological sign is. Happily, there was no cover on a Saturday night at around 10:30. The interior of 21 Bar is modern and chic. It is definitely designed for groups of people to be able to sit around tables and enjoy their own company. If you’ve been to B Bar in Borgata, it’s sort of set up that way. There is lots of couch seating and a row of high-top tables, as well as seats at the bar. There was an invisible DJ playing a pretty decent mix of music, though it wouldn’t have inspired anyone to get up and shake their tailfeather. There is a dance floor, but like most of these types of places, 21 Bar isn’t really designed for dancing. God I hate that. The place started to fill up soon, as a wedding had just ended and apparently all the guests and the bridal party thought 21 Bar would be the perfect reception area. Then a god-awful live band started playing. I have no idea what their name was; I’d like to find out so I can make sure never to go anywhere they are playing again. Given the interior design of this place, 21 Bar is definitely not conducive to live music. From any seat in the bar, you have to literally(and uncomfortably) turn your body to see the band. The space is clearly not designed for live-music-watching, as all of the furnishings are turned inward towards each other, not outwards towards the«stage.» Though if they do insist on bringing in live music, hopefully they make better choices once they become more established and have time to work out the kinks. Up to now, this could’ve been a 3 star review. However, the bartending leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve picked my new poison: Jameson, pineapple, and lime. Deeeee-licious. Boyfriend was sticking to Miller Lite bottles. I know my body pretty well. One well-made drink and I’m tipsy. 2 drinks and I’m drunk. 3, boyfriend morphs into a babysitter and realizes I will be asleep in no more than 7 minutes. However, I downed 2 of these babies and felt not a thing. Not a thing! Boyfriend tasted the third(if there’s anything he knows, it’s Irish whiskey), and concluded there was NO Jameson in it! He promptly alerted the bartender, who made me another drink properly. Boom, 0 to karaōke superstar in one drink! Later on, the same bartender spilled boyfriend’s beer all over him, the counter, and his iPhone. Luckily, no damage was incurred. I get that accidents happen, but here’s the kicker: he gave boyfriend another beer, BUTCHARGEDHIMFORIT! Now look, if you’re drinking at a bar, and you accidentally spill a drink on someone, what do you do? You buy them a drink! Just common courtesy, but apparently that guy didn’t have any. We watched him spill another beer on someone else several minutes later. We’ll consider coming back, but we’ll probably wait until 21 Bar has had some time to iron out their many, many kinks.
