No. No no no. I understand that we went at the end of the season, but every single draft beer was gone. They didn’t have any of it. It was honestly faster for the waitress to tell us what she DID have than for her to tell us what she DIDN’T. Service was painstakingly slow, and the food was served in Chinese take-out containers. Why? I have no idea. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock, so we had to go in pairs and someone had to stand guard. The food was also just OK, and very overpriced. Our lunch here cost more than our dinner did later on. The only redeeming factor was that there is plenty of outside seating.

This«beer garden» only had about a dozen beers on tap … and was out of over 30% of them(we actually did the math). Add to that — the food was TERRIBLE, and terribly overpriced. We didn’t even finish the chicken fingers, fries(though they only gave us about 20 of them for $ 5), and sausage we got. If you’re dying of hunger, get a $ 1 hot dog from the place next door. Do whatever you can to avoid this place.

I’ve never been to a beer garden with nothing on tap. Great venue to people watch outside on the boardwalk, but not a good selection of beers.

I had to escape from my wife for a moment, seeing she was on a shopping spree with me trailing in the back. I needed to get myself a refreshment, a few libations to recharge the system. The wife, as much as I love her once she gets in that zone nothing stops her. I somehow made it back to the boardwalk to find that these guys had just opened up. I figured why not I am here and you opened your doors for me, it was a sign from the beer gods. The Beer Garden, I could only imagine the assortment of tapped crafts to be perused. I walked and it’s small, with no taps to be seen, but they do have frosty pints. OK not a problem lets just see what they have in the bottled department since this is supposed to be a «Beer Garden» . The bottles were OK, a passable selection of crafts to go with some of the regulars. I was enjoying Shock Top Raspberry Wheat, and Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat while taking in the décor. Good music, bar music, rockin with Dokken, to Van Halen(David Lee, Sammy Hagar) classics, to rock. Outside seating also available, when the summer comes around this place will be more livelier. Justin, Shawn and Kristy, are some pretty good people working here. Got some freebies,(in shots) seeing I am a social butterfly. In all not a bad spot to stop in and grab a few pints, if you need to break away for a little. I’d stop back again just for this crew they have in here.

Hardly any beer choices for a «beer garden» and a very small food selection– asked for hot sauce and they said it was $ 1 because they had to go get it from somewhere else. would rather of gone somewhere else.

Nice location right outside of Ceasar’s. And they play good music. Unfortunately that is where the good news ends. Despite being a beer garden, the actual beer selection is kind of pathetic — its better than a truck stop bar would have I suppose but no better than your average pub. The beer is not priced that great, either. It’s better than what you would pay in a club(barely) but worse than most other bars on the boardwalk. The food is very very average and not much different than what you could microwave yourself at home. The food was also way too expensive for what it was. It is a nice spot for people watching and the waitresses were cute. But they were not cute enough to justify the prices.

12 dollars for chicken tenders. 5 dollars for a budweiser. The tap water tasted like wastewater from dusk. The elevator is a storage room which is an ADA violation. No access to Caesars directly, which is a bummer if your meal involves a pop-up thunderstorm. Really don’t need to come in here.

If they just took ‘garden’ out of the name I think it would receive a warmer welcome. I will still roll into a place named Boardwalk Beer. It’s nothing close to a Biergarten. I can see how people were thrown for a loop when entering. I, on the other hand, just wanted a place to have ANY cold drink due to the 90+ degree heat that day. Corona on the boardwalk? Sure. Prices? Not the worst. DId it do the trick? Yessir. 100% Once your ready to party, go across the way and hit Sammy’s for cheaper drinks and beach views, but for a quickie brew BBG will do you no wrong.

If you have low expectations and don’t mind squandering your money on over priced beverages than this is the place for you. For a ‘beer garden’ it has a limited selection of libations(they may want to rethink their name). The prices are high for low quality bottled beer or small poorly made cocktails, and the wait staff left much to be desired. For a place that was not packed I was astonished on the amount of time we waited for everything. My friends and I waited for approximately 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and approximately another 10 minutes for our drinks. From what we could see the waitresses were too busy talking to each other or just hanging around the bar as if the customers were an interruption to their socializing. Seeing that I appreciate the value of a dollar and receiving service when at a food or beverage establishment this place is definitely not for me and I will not be returning.

Not a beer garden at all. It’s enjoyable to be on the boardwalk and have a beer and people watch but theres barely a beer selection! Or anything on tap! Disappointed

I walked in this place and didn’t see any taps and I was so confused. I asked where the bar was and the bouncer pointed to a spot where the servers where inside, which was literally a counter with empty glasses lined against the wall. OK so I picked up a menu and saw nothing but bottled beer not one tap, but the worst is that its all macro brew. Corona, Heineken, Coors Light, Bud light and about 3 actual craft brews. Needless to say I got up and left the establishment, this is a crime to call this a beer garden and I’m saddened to know that this might be people’s first experience with a beer garden. If you want real beer head over to Firewater bar in the Tropicana by the Hooters. Don’t go after 10 though because the crowd becomes … uhmmm different

This place is not really a beer garden. It’s just a place with outdoor seating, on the boardwalk, where you can drink. If you’ve been to a real biergarten, you’ll know this does not really resemble one. Stopped by for a drink, and left right away. Only really worth it for a drink, nothing more. Not even a big selection of beer.

Wonderful sunny spot to grab some beer and people watch(ehhh not like you’d want to, gross) on the Boardwalk. Self service at the bar, so you can chill as long as you’d like. Definitely more of a patio than a biergarten but, we enjoyed ourselves and the staff was beyond friendly!

I really wouldn’t call this place a beer garden at all… since the beer selection is very small and standard. Coronas, Magic Hat, Guinness etc. My party of three came to the Boardwalk Beer Garden for some much needed day drinking. I got us some coronas for $ 5 each which seems standard. Sadly they don’t offer buckets of beer which I think would be a good idea for them to do. It makes carrying bottles a lot easier! We actually met the manager of the place(who is also the manager of Dusk as well… score!) who seemed nice and got us a few rounds of shots. Despite the lack of beer availability, I enjoyed the Boardwalk Beer Garden. It’s very casual, unpretentious, and I loved drinking out in the sun watching the people go by on the Boardwalk. It got more crowded as the day wore on and people were just relaxing and having a good time.

For an initially nice looking place, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Beer is incredibly over-priced at $ 8 for specialty beers and $ 6 for domestic. $ 6 for a budwiser? I got one bottled craft beer; the waitress didn’t even bother to bring a glass, and based on look at other tables it seemed that glasses weren’t an option. No taps. No food other than $ 3 hot dogs on stale buns with condiment packages in place of actual toppings. Even the worst dive bars I’ve been to at least offer decent fries. my gf got a $ 9 daquari which was the smallest I’ve ever seen of the many she’s ordered at other places. If you pass by this place, keep on walking for your own sake.

Really? $ 8 for a bottle of beer and no taps? Not very impressive for a beer garden.
